TwitchCon San Diego to Host Largest Women's Fortnite Tournament Ever With The Milk Cup 2025

Whether you're partial to Frenzy Farm, Anarchy Acres or Fatal Fields, there's plenty of milk to go around when it comes to Fortnite. In fact, The Milk Cup 2025 LAN championship at TwitchCon San Diego on Oct. 18 will mark the largest women's Fortnite tournament ever — with a prize pool of $300,000 up for grabs. And that's no Inflate-a-Bull. Gonna Need Milk and Twitch are partnering up to give 100 of the top female eSports athletes the chance to fight it out in duos. GNM is also set to power TwitchCon's LAN throughout the weekend with the entire event streaming live on the their Twitch channel, in addition to hosting interactive gaming experiences and giveaways. 'TwitchCon is where our community comes to life, and that includes brands who have a unique opportunity to build real, lasting connections with the people who shape culture on Twitch,' Rachel Delphin, Chief Marketing Officer at Twitch, said in a Wednesday statement. 'We're excited to welcome Gonna Need Milk and The Milk Cup to TwitchCon 2025 — an event that not only celebrates and uplifts women in gaming, but creates unforgettable, entertaining experiences for attendees. By showing up in ways that are meaningful to our streamers and fans, partners like Gonna Need Milk become part of the stories and moments that this community will remember for years to come.' 'We're thrilled to partner with Twitch to bring The Milk Cup's much-anticipated LAN Finals to TwitchCon,' Jen Grubb, Senior Marketing Manager at MilkPEP, added. 'This partnership allows us to continue providing never-before-seen opportunities in women's esports, highlight emerging talent, and connect directly with those shaping the future of competitive gaming, all while showing gamers how milk's nutrients can help fuel your performance.' While not an official Epic-sponsored event, The Milk Cup 2025 was developed in collaboration with Fortnite streamer ThePeachCobbler and Women of the eRena (WOTE), and produced by Raidiant's all-women production team. 'We want to get more women to this stage, but it can be intimidating,' Heather Garozzo — aka sapphiRe, the first woman to ever be inducted into the eSports Hall of Fame — told TheWrap at last month's Fortnite Championship Series Pro-Am. 'With Milk Cup Academy, it's a great starting point. We're going to pair you with different content creators, pro players and broadcast talent who will share tips and tricks and advice so you can feel more confident.' 'We make it super accessible for women to get started, feel welcomed, feel like they're in a safe environment,' she continued. 'Hopefully they can one day play here in the big pro leagues — and some of them are, actually!' The tournament itself was revealed Wednesday afternoon by Pro-Am winner AussieAntics and his Twitch community, who worked together to solve a puzzle. TwitchCon San Diego 2025 will take place Oct. 17-19 at the San Diego Convention Center. And as always, don't forget to thank your bus driver. Why Pay for a DualSense When This Luna Controller Costs Half the Price for Early Prime Day?

Amazon may not be the first name that comes to mind for gaming, but it's definitely a major player in the industry. With Twitch at the heart of streaming and its own cloud gaming service, Luna, Amazon is everywhere for gamers. The company has also designed a controller specifically for Luna but it's far more than just a cloud gaming accessory. In fact, most people use the Luna Controller as a universal gamepad for a wide range of devices—PCs, Sony PlayStation, Xbox, and more. Right now, the Luna Controller is available at its lowest price ever on Amazon: For just $39, that's a hefty discount from its $69 MSRP (43% off) and much less expensive than buying multiple Xbox or Sony DualSense controllers which cost between $50 to $100 per controller. See at Amazon The Luna Controller is a gaming controller with offset thumbsticks for gaming comfort, bumpers within easy reach, accurate triggers and responsive action buttons. The 4-way directional pad adds to its classic controller shape so it'll be ideal for playing all types of games. The controller's ergonomic design ensures that it will be comfortable to hold, even for long gaming sessions. It has a rugged construction with a premium finish that's comparable to more expensive controllers. Designed to work in perfect tandem with Amazon's Luna cloud gaming service, it offers a direct connection to Amazon's custom-built game servers using Cloud Direct technology. That provides for low-latency gaming which is important for responsive, lag-free gameplay. But the usefulness of the Luna Controller extends far beyond Luna: It can connect to pretty much any device via Bluetooth, from Windows and Mac computers to Fire TV, Fire tablets, iPhones, iPads, Chromebooks, and gaming consoles. If you prefer a wired connection, the controller also supports USB. Amazon's Luna Controller is proof that Amazon is serious about gaming. Do not miss the opportunity to have a multi-use controller in your hands before the sale ends. See at Amazon

Love Island fans are already calling this couple the winners after tonight's episode

We're only two weeks into Love Island 2025, but fans of the series have already predicted who they think will win. From Harry and Helena to Tommy and Megan, couples on the current season have been falling apart left, right, and centre of late. But, despite all that, viewers reckon one recently coupled-up couple will go the distance, especially after seeing how steamy they've been getting under the covers. Of course, we're talking about Yasmin and Ben who, on tonight's episode (25 June), were getting more than a little bit cosy as the villa's lights turned off for the evening. As one fan put it, the pair think they're on Netflix's Too Hot To Handle, while another described their bedroom activity as "freaky". With all that being said, viewers are convinced that Yasmin and Ben are the strongest couple in the villa and should be this year's winners. "So Yasmin and Ben are gonna win," one fan wrote on X during tonight's episode, as another agreed: "Ben and Yasmin match each other's freak they're my winners." "Yasmin and Ben are the best couple there," someone else wrote, with a fourth fan chiming in with, "So Yasmin and Ben are the strongest couple in the villa right now… Hmm crazy." Another fan theorised what the pair were getting up to under the duvet, sharing: "Ben and Yasmin fawkin under the duvet might make them the strongest couple because everyone else hates each other." Send 'em to the Hideaway as soon as possible...
