Nyck De Vries does well, Norman Nato lags behind in 6 Hours of Imola Qualifying race
Norman Nato, who races for Nissan in the Formula E Championship, represents Cadillac Racing in collaboration with Hertz Team Jota in the Hypercar category of the Endurance Championship. Nyck De Vries, from Mahindra Racing's Formula E team, finished 5th in the Imola qualifying. He competes for Toyota Gazoo Racing in the WEC, alongside teammate Ryo Hirakawa, who placed 4th in qualifying.
Calling it his best effort on track, De Vries told Toyota Europe Newsroom: 'As a team, I think we can be fairly satisfied with qualifying fourth and fifth here. We maximised our package, as you can see from the tiny gap between the two cars. I don't think we could have done much better than that; we did a strong job to execute a clean qualifying. The gap to the front cars looks quite big over one lap, but we will do our best with race pace, tyre management, and strategy to challenge for the podium.'
Both drivers are now set to compete in the final race of the 6 Hours of Imola on Sunday, scheduled from 1 PM to 7 PM local time.
How Norman Nato, Nyck De Vries fared in
Miami E-Prix
In their last Formula E outing at the Homestead-Miami Speedway, Nato faced heartbreak after losing what looked like a sure win due to post-race penalties. Although he clinched pole and crossed the line first at the Miami E-Prix, he was relegated to 6th place in the revised results.
De Vries had qualified 5th in Miami but ultimately dropped to 11th in the final standings after penalties were applied.
Following this, they'll shift focus to Round 6 of the Formula E World Championship—the highly anticipated Monaco double-header on May 3 and 4. With momentum building, fans of both electric and endurance racing will be keeping a close eye on their performances.

Jakarta to London via Berlin: All you need to know about the remaining 2025 Formula E calendar

Eleven rounds have already been completed this season, and Nissan's Oliver Rowland is a clear leader in the Formula E Driver Standings, well ahead of the competition. There are five more races to be held, as three Grands Prix are lined up for this month and the next. Here's all about the action that will unfold over these two months before the current season comes to an end in July. Jakarta E-Prix The Jakarta E-Prix is a two-day event from June 20 to June 21. The Round 12 race will be held at the Jakarta International Circuit in Indonesia. The venue was missing from the calendar last year. Maserati MSG Racing driver Maximilian Gunther won pole position in both races of the Jakarta double header in 2023, but he won only one of the races and took third place on the podium in the other. The other race was won by Pascal Wehrlein of TAG Heuer Porsche. Berlin E-Prix Berlin is the only venue to have been a permanent fixture on the Formula E calendar since its inception. The 11th edition of the Berlin E-Prix will be a double header from July 11 to July 13. The Round 13 and Round 14 races will be held on July 12 and July 13, respectively. Both races will take place at the Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit. TAG Heuer Porsche driver Antonio Felix da Costa has been the most successful Formula E driver in Berlin, with three wins, including one last year. Nick Cassidy of Jaguar TCS Racing has also won twice and claimed one of the two races last year. London E-Prix The London double header will be the closing event of the 11th season. It will be held at the ExCeL London circuit from July 25 to July 27. All eyes will be on the Round 15 and Round 16 races, as the Formula E world champion will be crowned at this double header based on the Formula E Driver Standings for this year. Moody's cuts Nissan corporate family rating to Ba2
Global ratings agency Moody's on Friday cut Nissan Motor Co Ltd 's corporate family rating to Ba2 from Ba1, as the embattled Japanese automaker seeks to push through a turnaround. The outlook remains negative, Moody's said. "The downgrade reflects the deterioration and expectation for continuing weakness in Nissan's credit profile, most notably in its automotive free cash flow and EBIT margin," Dean Enjo, Moody's ratings vice president and senior analyst, said in a statement. Japan's third-biggest automaker last month unveiled sweeping new cost cuts, saying it would reduce its workforce by around 15% and cut production plants to 10 from 17 globally, as performance in its key markets continues to come under pressure.
