After Vince Vaughn spent time in Washington, D.C., with President Donald Trump, the White House documented his visit by parodying one of the actor's most popular films.
On Friday, April 18, the official POTUS and White House Instagram accounts shared a joint post featuring a snapshot of the vocally Libertarian actor, 55, and the president, 78, in the Oval Office together. The shot was edited into a faux movie poster inspired by Wedding Crashers.
"White House Crashers," the poster reads in a font similar to one used on the artwork for the 2005 buddy comedy flick, with Trump taking the place of Vaughn's costar Owen Wilson.
'President Donald J. Trump & Vince Vaughn in the Oval Office 🇺🇸,' the White House wrote in the post's caption.

Wedding Crashers follows Wilson, 55, and Vaughn as divorce mediators who spend their free time crashing wedding receptions in order to meet women. It also stars Isla Fisher, Rachel McAdams, Christopher Walken, Bradley Cooper and more.
Aside from the post, the White House and the president both did not release any further information about Vaughn's visit to Washington, D.C., nor did the actor.
Representatives for Vaughn did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Saturday, April 19.

Trump and Vaughn have spent time together at public events in the past. However, the White House did not formally list Vaughn's visit on the president's schedule for reporters, according to The Hill.
Vaughn and Trump were first spotted together at a college football national championship game back in January 2020, during the president's first term.
The pair shook hands during their time together, and a rep for the actor later clarified to PEOPLE that they did not attend the championship with one another, but rather 'met this evening at the game briefly.'
Months after the duo's headline-making exchange led to some serious backlash, the Dodgeball actor attempted to clear the air in an interview with The Los Angeles Times, explaining that he is 'cordial' to any politician he meets, regardless of their party or policies.
"In my career I've met a lot of politicians who I've always been cordial to; I've met Nancy Pelosi and was cordial to her as well," Vaughn told the newspaper. "It was the only time I've ever met him. We said hello. He was very personable. I didn't get into policies."

"I think people are more charged than ever about these things," he continued at the time. "But I don't think most people take that stuff as seriously as the small percentage that's making noise about it. I was raised with the idea that you could have different likes and beliefs and you should respect and defend that in other people, not shout it down. The people you disagree with the most, you should stand up for their right to do that."
More recently, the actor discussed his political leanings in an August 2024 interview with The New York Times.
After he was asked about whether he identifies as a libertarian, the star said, 'Yes, I definitely am a believer more in allowing individuals to make choices. So I think that drugs should be legal and people should have guns.'
