The tension reportedly began after Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni in December 2024, accusing him of sexual harassment and retaliation. In response, Baldoni counter-sued and subpoenaed Taylor Swift—a move that blindsided the singer, who had zero involvement with the film.
Taylor's team was quick to clear the air, stating: 'Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see 'It Ends With Us' until weeks after its public release.'
Following this, Baldoni's legal team dropped the subpoena. But the damage, it seems, had already been done.

A source close to Swift told the Daily Mail that Taylor now recognizes all the 'red flags' in her friendship with Lively. 'When Taylor looks back at their friendship, she realises it wasn't worth all the stress Blake put her through,' the insider shared. 'She can now see all the red flags that should have been a warning to her.'
Even Travis Kelce, who once shared friendly ties with Reynolds, has reportedly distanced himself.
He recently unfollowed the Deadpool star on Instagram, signaling a united front with Swift. 'Taylor and Travis are disgusted with Blake and Ryan and how they tried to use Taylor in their fight against Justin Baldoni,' the insider added.
According to those close to the couple, this break is not temporary.'They're vowing their break from the acting couple is permanent,' the source said.
