The Cardinals were originally 1.5-point favorites. They are now home underdogs.
The Arizona Cardinals open the preseason Saturday at State Farm Stadium, kicking off at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. Arizona time). Earlier in the week, we looked at the betting odds, and the Cardinals were favored.
However, things have changed.
Looking at the betting odds from BetMGM Sportsbook, the spread has flipped.

Earlier in the week, the Cardinals were favored slightly at -120.
Against the spread (ATS)
The Cardinals had been 1.5-point favorites previously.
What changed?
It is likely the result of the news that the Chiefs will have their starters playing a full quarter, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes. While the Cardinals' starters are going to play, head coach Jonathan Gannon has not said how long they would go. With the likely unbalanced competition with the Chiefs starters at times going against the Cardinals' second units, it makes sense that the line moved.
Total (Over/Under)
The projected total went up by a point. It was originally 38.5, which was tied for the highest of the week. It is now the highest projected total of the remaining games on the schedule.
