This Character Is The Villainous Crow Master In Wednesday Season 2
In the new season, Wednesday Addams is trying to protect her werewolf best friend and roommate, Enid Sinclair, from a threat to her life when she unveils the new villain.
As promised by the makers, Wednesday season 2 is not wasting any time and giving fans a thrilling story that they have waited for nearly three years. Part 1 of the new season was released on Netflix on August 6. Just four episodes in, the show pulled back the curtains on its first big villain, leaving fans surprised with the twist that they did not see coming.
The new villain is none other than Judi Spannegel, played by Heather Matarazzo, the cheerful assistant at Willow Hill Psychiatric Facility, an asylum for Outcasts. Behind her friendly smile and chirpy self, Judy has been secretly controlling a deadly flock of crows.

Season 2 of Wednesday begins with Wednesday Addams, played by Jenna Ortega, going in full-on detective mode, trying to solve yet another mystery. This time, she is trying to protect her werewolf best friend and roommate, Enid Sinclair, played by Emma Mayers, who has been threatened by someone. Moreover, a series of strange deaths takes place near the campus of Nevermore Academy, which are caused by the murder of crows. These events led Wednesday to investigate who is behind.
Her quest to find the culprit takes her to Willow Hill, where Tyler Galpin, played by Hunter Doohan, the villain and secret metamorphosing Hyde from season 1, is now being kept. She immediately becomes suspicious of the asylum's smiling 'normie" director, Dr. Rachael Fairburn, played by Thandiwe Newton. On her suspicion list is also the new Nevermore music teacher, Isadora Capri, who all has a connection to the asylum. Despite her suspicions, Wednesday herself couldn't have guessed that the person behind the mysterious deaths was Judi.
Why Is Judi Spannegel On A Murderous Spree In Wednesday Season 2?
In episode four of season 2 of the Netflix show, it is revealed that Judi Spannegel was the mysterious 'avian" who was controlling the murder of crows. And she is not just the assistant at Willow Hill, but also the daughter of its former chief psychiatrist and Nevermore's ex-science teacher, Augustus Stonehurst. He used to run illegal experiments to steal powers from the Outcasts, who are beings with supernatural abilities. While he couldn't gain control of their abilities, Judi did, and she continued with his work. She kept on working in secret beneath the hospital, carrying forward her father's twisted legacy.
The episode sees Wednesday and her quirky Uncle Fester, played by Fred Armisen, rescuing all the Outcasts who were being held underground. But things quickly get out of hand. The inmates start rebelling, with Tyler even killing his former controller, Marilyn Thornhill, played by Christina Ricci. Then he goes after Wednesday, throwing her out of a second-story building. Her fate is left uncertain as the screen fades to black.

Judi Spannegel, the villain in Part 1 of the Wednesday season, is played by actress Heather Matarazzo. This marks her big return to the screen. She is best known for her roles in Welcome to the Dollhouse and The Princess Diaries.
