After acclaimed performance in "The Last Showgirl", Pamela Anderson is taking a dive into the other side of the pool for some goofy comedy. The former "Baywatch" star plays a mysterious woman named Beth in the upcoming legacy sequel "The Naked Gun". Entertainment Weekly shared the first look at Anderson in the film, which you can see below.
Anderson didn't share all that much about her character, beyond saying that she goes to the Police Squad for help after her brother is murdered.

She also shared that, in spite of "The Naked Gun" being a comedy, her process for embodying Beth was no different than it was for creating Shelly in a more serious drama like Gia Coppola's "The Last Showgirl".
"It is the same depth of process for a high comedy as it is for a drama," Anderson told EW. "I worked hard on the role, another cathartic experience. Every film, it seems, tackles a deep-seated issue that needs to be expressed and surfaced in ways other than anything else."
In the film, Liam Neeson plays Frank Drebin Jr., the son of Frank Drebin, the late Leslie Nielsen played in the three previous "The Naked Gun" films as well as "Police Squad!" EW shared an image of Neeson as well, along with co-star Paul Walter Hauser.
"The Last Showgirl" star said she particularly enjoyed working with Liam Neeson and that they shared an 'electric' chemistry during filming.
"We had many dinners out with the cast," Anderson recalled. "I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed 'professionally romantic' during filming."
Anderson told EW she's got her fingers crossed for "The Naked Gun" sequels. "I'm hoping people love it," Anderson said. "We had so much fun making it. I think it's timely for a beloved comedy like this. I'm a fan of the originals. As Liam says, 'We could all use a good giggle.' I pray we do more."
"The Naked Gun" is directed by Akiva Schaffer and produced by Seth McFarlane. The film stars Liam Neeson, Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, Kevin Durand, Danny Huston, Liza Koshy, Cody Rhodes, CCH Pounder, and Busta Rhymes.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez Turns Heads in Bold Black Outfit on Tuesday

Cristiano Ronaldo's Girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez Turns Heads in Bold Black Outfit on Tuesday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. All eyes were on Georgina Rodriguez Tuesday night as she arrived at Netflix Spain's 10th anniversary celebration in a bold, all-black outfit that had fans and fashion watchers buzzing. Rodriguez, the longtime girlfriend of soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo, stepped out at the Palacio de Cristal in Madrid wearing a striking black midi dress with corset-style lace-up details on the front and sides. The dress, a vintage Dolce & Gabbana piece from 2019, hugged her figure perfectly and featured thin straps and a small slit near the hem that added just the right amount of elegance. She paired the look with glossy black stilettos, which added a sharp, polished touch. To complete her look, Rodriguez chose minimal jewelry; a silver bracelet, rings and hoop earrings and styled her long, wavy hair to fall softly over her shoulders. Her makeup was subtle but romantic, with rose-toned lips and blush that brought out the full effect of the black-on-black ensemble. Netflix Spain shared a photo of Rodriguez on Instagram shortly after the event and fans wasted no time flooding the comments section with admiration. 'Queen Georgina,' one person wrote. Another called her 'a wonderful diva.' 'Georgina the biggest one we have!!' a fan boldly declared. Others joined in, with messages like 'Georgina, the mother of all' and 'I love you Georgina, you are beautiful.' 'Georgina is the most beautiful woman,' a user summed it up simply. Rodriguez's presence at the celebration proved once again why she remains one of the most talked-about figures in fashion and lifestyle. Her choice of outfit echoed the same high-glamour style fans have come to expect from her, from the lace-trimmed slipdress at the 2025 Met Gala to the sharp white platforms she wore to Paris Fashion Week earlier this year. Though known globally as Ronaldo's partner since 2016, Rodriguez has made a name for herself far beyond the football spotlight. She's a mother of six, a fashion influencer and a regular at major events. Still, she often keeps her focus on family, recently telling Vogue, 'If I tell you the truth, I no longer remember clearly what day-to-day life was like without being famous.' On Tuesday night, though, Georgina Rodriguez reminded everyone just how effortlessly she blends glamour with confidence. She didn't just attend Netflix Spain's milestone event, she stole the story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on Jun 11, 2025, where it first appeared.

Tears as Young Horse Plays Alone With Giant Ball as Siblings Ignore Him

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A young horse's struggle to be accepted by his older siblings has gone viral on social media, and internet users can't cope with what the lonely equine does to keep himself entertained while the others avoid him. In a viral TikTok video shared on Wednesday by @heatherrrr.979, the black and white horse, Flynn, can be seen playing alone with a giant ball, enthusiastically running up and down his owner's ranch over and over. "Flynn playing by himself all day because none of the big horses like him yet," the poster wrote over the clip, adding a heart emoji. She added in the caption: "'Please tell me they like him now.' They do not. But he's ok, he has his ball." Previous videos shared by the poster show the young horse trying his best to befriend the older horses, who appear to have no interest in him. Horses are naturally highly social animals, and no normal healthy horse would ever live alone by choice, according to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Horses that live in herds often engage in social activities, such as playing or grooming each other, communicating primarily through body language. Living in herds offers horses more safety. In the wild, a horse living alone is much more likely to be caught by a predator than one who lives in a herd. This means that lonely horses are often nervous due to their constant state of alertness. On the other hand, those living in herds can take turns and rest, sharing responsibilities among each other. Horses that are kept alone may also become stressed due to not receiving the benefits of equine companionship. Stock image of a young horse on a ranch. A TikTok user commented: "My goodness.... Here I am crying more again. I'm way too sensitive for this. Please give this sweet boy extra loving for me. Tell him how strangers online adore him. Please." Another user wrote: "They're jealous because Flynn doesn't need their approval." One commenter said: "Oh wow, I didn't realize this was a thing with horses. When will young Flynn be accepted?" Newsweek reached out to @heatherrrr.979 for comment via TikTok. We could not verify the details of the case.
