The shocking incident of open firing outside Elvish Yadav's house has sent shockwaves, with many condemning the actions and questioning the security and authorities. Now, Bigg Boss 13 fame Shefali Bagga has also reacted to the incident and extended wishes to the YouTuber.
'I am shocked beyond words at whatever has happened. And now, where is the police, where is the security, the media, the authorities for support? These types of firings keep happening in our city, and we talk about freedom and security? Stay strong, Elvish," said Shefali Bagga.

Earlier, Siwet Tomar also called out the authorities for focusing on stray dogs when incidents like these are happening in the capital city.
Taking to his Twitter, Siwet wrote, 'Delhi government ko pehle Delhi mein badhti gundagardi rokni chahiye. Inko lagta hai kutte hatana important hai. Seriously, ek public figure ke ghar ke bahar log goliyan chalake ja rahe, yeh to haal hai aur inhe lagta dog bites problem hai. Wow yaar wow."
Later, in another tweet, Tomar shared, 'Parivaar pe attack karna buzdilon ka kaam hota hai. Jab lakadbaghe sher ka kuch nahi kar paate to uske parivaar pe attack karte hain. Agar kisi ko bura lage iss baat se to lagta rahe."
Elvish Yadav's First Statement After Firing At His Gurugram House
On Monday, Elvish Yadav took to his Instagram stories to thank fans and shared that he and his family are safe and well. 'I would like to extend my sincere gratitude for your good wishes. My family and I are safe and well. Your kind thoughts and concern are truly appreciated. Thank you," he wrote.
About the incident
As per Sandeep Kumar, PRO of Gurugram Police, 'Three masked miscreants opened fire outside the residence of YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav in Gurugram's Sector 57. The incident took place at around 5:30 a.m. More than a dozen rounds were fired. Elvish Yadav was not at his residence at the time of the firing."
The notorious Himanshu Bhau gang has taken responsibility for the attack via an alleged Instagram post, accusing the YouTuber of promoting gambling.

Ranveer Singh's upcoming big-ticket film Dhurandhar has hit an unexpected roadblock. The Aditya Dhar directorial, which also stars R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun, faced a serious health scare on set. On Sunday evening, August 17, over 100 crew members were rushed to Sajal Narbu Memorial (SNM) Hospital in Leh after suffering from severe abdominal pain, vomiting and headaches. Doctors later confirmed it was a case of mass food poisoning. According to IANS, officials stated: 'Over 100 workers of a Bollywood film crew were hospitalised in Leh after a suspected case of food poisoning late Sunday evening." Republic reported that the incident took place on the sets of Dhurandhar. A senior doctor from the hospital added, 'We managed the patient rush effectively. The police also stepped in to regulate the overcrowded emergency ward and prevent panic." What Happened on Dhurandhar Set in Leh The crew was busy filming sequences in Leh when several members suddenly fell ill, forcing an immediate halt to production. With over 100 affected workers, medical teams and police quickly stepped in to handle the crisis. Thankfully, no fatalities have been reported, though the shoot remains paused until the situation stabilises. This development has cast a shadow on the high-profile project, which has been one of the most anticipated Bollywood releases of the year. Fans have expressed concern on social media, hoping for the speedy recovery of those hospitalised. Dhurandhar Release Date and Box Office Clash Despite the disruption, Dhurandhar is still slated to release on December 5, 2025.
