OASIS took a parting shot at snooty council chiefs last night — as they thrilled 70,000 fans, including Celtic legend Neil Lennon, at their third Scots gig.
Liam Gallagher demanded an apology on stage over safety briefings in Edinburgh that warned of an influx of 'fat, old, drunk and lairy' men.

He claimed their followers had helped generate '£3billion' for the city but told the crowd: 'You won't see f*** all, because they'll rob it and spread it among their posh, ugly mates.
'Still waiting for our apology.'
Lennon, 54, was snapped with fellow punters before the sell-out third and final night at Murrayfield Stadium.
The Dunfermline manager, whose footballer son is called Gallagher Lennon, wore a T-shirt with Noel and Liam on it as he made his way to the venue.
One onlooker said: 'He looked like was buzzing for the concert.'
Crowds basked in temperatures of up to 26C as they gathered near the home of Scottish rugby hours before the gates opened.
Hundreds kept cool in the Murrayfield Hotel's beer garden, where chefs grilled burgers on a barbecue.
Boss Steven Groat, 42, hailed fans for creating a party atmosphere.
He said: 'It has been fantastic. Everybody has behaved themselves and are just here for a good time.
'We're used to big crowds for the rugby but this has been something else. It's been great for business.'

Corrin Mawhinney, 55, travelled from Kilmarnock with her daughter Cath, 30, plus pals Kirsty Ronald, 29, and Sarah Calderwood, 34.
Care worker Sarah said: 'We've travelled all over to see Liam and Noel perform in solo gigs.
"The fact they're back together means this will be twice as special.'
Ross Duncan, 41, brought his son Zack, 11, from Newton Mearns, near Glasgow, on the final day of the holidays before he starts P7.
The schoolboy said: 'It's my first-ever gig. I'm buzzing. Nobody else in my class has a ticket for this. It's going to be so good.'
Accountant Ross added: 'My wife was supposed to be coming but she gave it up so Zack could be here.
DEFINITELY I DO
A COUPLE got engaged during the sold-out Oasis gig at Murrayfield on Friday night.
Brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher kicked off the first of three massive shows in Edinburgh, and during the two-hour-plus show, a couple in the crowd got engaged.
Gigs in Scotland caught the adorable moment an Oasis fan got down on one knee during the band's hit Slide Away.
In a clip shared on social media, Liam can be seen singing the 1994 song.
As he sings the lyrics: "Now that you're mine," the camera then pans around to the fan proposing to his girlfriend.
During the video, the woman, dressed in an Oasis top and bucket hat, can be seen saying yes during the proposal.
He then pops the ring on her finger and the couple share a kiss as they enjoy the heartwarming moment.
Gigs in Scotland wrote: "We caught a very special moment during Slide Away...
"Huge congrats to the happy couple!"
'She wanted to treat him to something really special.'
The Scottish Sun on Sunday told how concerns had been raised at Edinburgh City Council briefings ahead of the band's concerts.
The fears appeared to be unfounded after the first two shows passed with no signs of trouble.
But last night there were shocking scenes as more than 100 ticketless youths turned up at the stadium and tried to gatecrash the event.
The youngsters were flanked by cops after arriving at the site just before Oasis took to the stage.
More than a dozen jumped over a barrier and were chased by officers.
But around 15 others ran into the garden of a nearby house then vaulted over a wall into the arena.
One local resident said: 'Stuff like this happens every time there is a concert — but nothing on this scale.'

Kate Cassidy shares she wears Liam Payne's clothes to bed in emotional grief update

Liam Payne's girlfriend took to social media to share how she is coping with the loss of the former One Direction star as she urged people not to judge how others grieve Kate Cassidy got emotional as she opened up to her followers online while talking about grief. Kate has been open about her struggles since the death of boyfriend Liam Payne last October. ‌ The former One Direction star tragically plunged to his death in a hotel in Buenos Aires. He had been in the country with Kate just days before his death, but Kate had headed back to the US when the tragedy occurred. ‌ Now, as she continues to try to come to terms with his passing, Kate shared a candid Instagram upload to try to help others deal with grief. She revealed she is often asked on the social media platform about Liam's death and how she copes with his loss. ‌ And she decided to answer a number of the queries, getting emotional when she mentioned the singer's name. She began by saying she was hoping to help others deal with their grief by sharing her thoughts. She said grief feels like "a world that you wake up in and it doesn't make any sense anymore, especially when you lose somebody so suddenly and unexpectedly you almost have such a hard time forgiving the world for ripping that person away from you." She went on to say she sometimes feels "numb," while other times it can be emotional. And she admitted she feels as though her personal grief will last a "lifetime". "Grief does not come with an expiration date," she added. "It's not something you learn to get over, it's something you learn to carry with". Responding to a question regarding grieving in the right way, Kate said: "This question resonates with me a lot because there is no handbook or no guidelines to grief. Everybody deals with it a different way." She opened up on her own daily changes, admitting she often feels like different ways can help her. That includes "being in sweats" or "dressing up". ‌ Kate went on to urge people not to judge those who grieve differently. And she admitted she copes in a number of ways, including by "wearing my loved ones' clothes to bed". She also said reading old letters and notes can help her. "It makes me feel so much more attached to him. Reading something in somebody's handwriting makes you hear their voice in your head while you're reading it so that helps me a lot. ‌ "And looking through old photos and videos. It doesn't always have to be sad. Grief is a reminder that you were able to experience love." As she tried to continue, Kate clearly got teary-eyed as she stuttered: "And I'm so lucky to have experienced that with um, Liam." Liam and Kate met in a scenario straight out of a rom-com, when the then-ordinary waitress served the megastar at a bar in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2022. For Liam, the attraction was immediate, and he asked for her number straight away. She told fans of their sweet love story as she previously shared a TikTok of the moment. And Liam told his fans he "never felt a love like I do for Katelyn," adding: "We make each other better people."

No, there's no plans for any new music." But Liam later hit out at the comments while replying to a fan on X, as he fumed: "Neither do I and the only people that will be making any kind of decisions on the future of OASIS will be ME n RKID [Noel] so let's just take it one day at a time."

Oasis ‘scam' probe launched as Scots mum accused of selling fake tickets for hundreds of pounds

Police are investigating allegations that Colleen Ross, 37, of Wallyford, East Lothian, failed to deliver gold-dust Murrayfield briefs to dozens of desperate music lovers. The pair, from Derby, paid a £100 deposit to the holistic therapist before heading north for last Friday's mega-gig at Murrayfield. But on arrival the night before, they were told there had been a 'mess-up' over transferring tickets. Teacher Nikki said: 'Ross claimed they were still 'pending' and she was sorry. I ended up having to fork out £650 to secure two tickets from the viagogo resale site. 'The concert was a present for my husband's birthday and I didn't want to let him down.' But Nikki described the shambles as a 'sh** scam'. She got her £100 deposit refunded days later. But her story is one of dozens linked to Ross. Cops are probing complaints from Oasis fans who claim they sent cash to her for briefs that never arrived. Karen Alderton, 39, said she paid £300 for two tickets to one of the band's sell-out shows to surprise her daughter on her 18th birthday. The mum of three, from Bonnyrigg, Midlothian, told The Scottish Sun: 'I've known Colleen for about eight years. I trusted her. 'She advertised the Oasis ones on Snapchat, saying she was selling her daughter's tickets because she wanted to go on holiday instead. I told her I'd buy them. But I started seeing stuff online about her. So I sent a message, asking when the tickets would be transferred. Dad who plunged to his death 'from top tier' of Wembley Oasis gig is pictured - as family pay tribute to 'role model' 'She totally bit my head off. She said she was still waiting and would send them as soon as she got them. 'I told her to send my refund or I'd go to her house. I got the money back. But I had to pay £1,100 for two Oasis tickets on a resale site.' There was no answer at Ross's detached home today. Neighbours said she hadn't been seen for several days. Karen added: 'I got my cash back but everybody else needs to get it. 'Another parent told me how her daughter tried to get in at Murrayfield on Saturday with a screenshot of a ticket from Colleen. But it didn't work. She has to stop what she's doing.' Darrah Fielding, 26, a student from Glasgow, paid Ross £280 for two briefs that never appeared. She also got the cash refunded but had to spend £500 on viagogo to get to the concert. Mum-of-one Darrah recalled: 'She was extremely convincing and seemed genuine. But she has let people down and caused chaos. She's a cheeky moneygrabber and should be ashamed of herself.' Many fans went online to tell of their dealings with Ross. David, 42, from Falkirk, sent her £140 for a standing ticket for Friday's show by the rockers, who released the 1998 compilation album The Masterplan. He said: 'She contacted me after I put a message on a site in July. 'Later, she said she was going into hospital and would send the tickets two to three days before the concert. 'I knew something was up. I paid £260 for one from elsewhere. 'Then I found out hundreds of people making similar claims. She has broken a lot of hearts. She sent me the refund but many others missed out.' Some went on to social media to warn other fans. One said: 'Got properly done by that Colleen Ross. Ruined my weekend.' A third warned: 'She's scammed people out of thousands.' Police Scotland said: 'We received a report of fraud in the Edinburgh area. Enquiries are at an early stage.'
