Brad Pitt breaks silence on Angelina Jolie divorce settlement
The 61-year-old actor spoke candidly to GQ magazine on 28 May, offering a rare glimpse into the closure of one of Tinseltown's most high-profile splits.
When asked if the December 2024 divorce settlement brought him any relief, Pitt kept it cool and understated. 'No, I don't think it was that major of a thing,' he told GQ.
'Just something coming to fruition. Legally.' Brad Pitt's words suggest that the conclusion of the divorce was more a formality than an emotional milestone, according to USA Today.
This comes after an eight-year court battle that captivated fans worldwide. Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016, ending a relationship that began over a decade earlier on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith .
The legal saga included disputes over their shared properties, custody of their six children, and the finances of their winery, Château Miraval.
Angelina's lawyer described the settlement as a relief for the actress. 'Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over,' said James Simon.
'She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.'
Brad Pitt also addressed his new relationship with Ines de Ramon, which became public at the 2024 British Grand Prix.
He dismissed any suggestion that the appearance was a calculated move. 'No, dude, it's not that calculated,' he said.
'If you're living — oh my God, how exhausting would that be? Life just evolves. Relationships evolve.'
Brad Pitt's recent work on the film F1 has reignited his passion for acting. Filmed in front of real Formula 1 crowds worldwide, the movie promises to be a thrilling ride.
'It just reinvigorated the whole thing again for me,' Pitt shared.
The film, set for release on 27 June, has been hailed by GQ as 'the greatest racing movie of all time.' Co-stars and director Joseph Kosinski praised Pitt's dedication and energy throughout the shoot.
The children of Pitt and Jolie are also making headlines. Their daughter Shiloh legally dropped 'Pitt' from her name in May 2024, becoming Shiloh Nouvel Jolie.
Vivienne followed suit, removing 'Pitt' from her Playbill credit for the Broadway musical The Outsiders .
This shift reflects the ongoing personal changes within the family, even as the legal battles fade into the past.

What really happens when you try to join the 'mile high club'
A former Virgin Atlantic flight attendant has revealed what really goes down when passengers try to get it on mid-flight, and let's just say, it's not as private or glamorous as the movies make it seem. According to the Daily Mail , in a candid Q&A with LadBible on YouTube, Mandy Smith, who spent over 12 years working in the skies, shared the awkward truth about the so-called 'mile high club' and how airlines deal with it. As per Smith, flight crews are very aware of what's going on behind closed lavatory doors, so you're not as sneaky as you think. Smith said in the YouTube interview that airline staff are aware of attempts to join the mile high club, claiming that the act happens on 'one in 20, or 30 flights'. She said that cabin crews are trained to spot the signs when passengers are about to get frisky, especially when on their way to use the bathroom. And yes, flight attendants can open those bathroom doors. Even if they're locked. 'We can take those doors off, you know. Even though you've locked it, we can open them. And we can take the whole door.' Smith said. 'But no. I have stopped people, knocked on the door, and just said, 'Excuse me, can you come out? ' kind of thing. Because I kind of know what you're doing.' the former flight attendant added. Despite this, Smith revealed that there is a little wiggle room for your 'activities' depending on the flight. On night flights, when there are no kids around, sometimes the flight attendants might just let it slide. Let us know by leaving a comment below, or send a WhatsApp to 060 011 021 1. Shade at Siya? Rachel Kolisi posts about 'loyalty'
Rachel Kolisi has shared another cryptic quote, seemingly about her marriage split from Springbok captain Siya Kolisi. Last October, the mother-of-two announced her separation and has been navigating life as a single parent ever since. Rachel has been accused of 'milking public sympathy' with her social media posts ranging from her anxiety attacks to her driving a 'humble' Toyota Yaris. In an Instagram Story, Rachel Kolisi shared another cryptic post on her Instagram Story. It read: 'The only people I owe my loyalty to are those who never made me question theirs'. In recent months, Rachel has posted several quotes that her followers believe are related to her relationship status. Image via Instagram: @siyakolisi In February, Rachel Kolisi suggested that she was being stalked by someone she had purposely blocked. Her post read: 'You block someone on everything, and all of a sudden, xajdhjsd stars are watching your story.' Over the festive season, another read: 'Let the kids believe in Santa. You believed in your ex 25 times.' In his 2023 documentary and autobiography, Rise , Siya admitted to having a rocky relationship with Rachel after confessing to excessive partying, heavy drinking, being addicted to porn, and frequenting strip clubs. There was also the impression that Siya had been unfaithful to his wife. While Siya and Rachel Kolisi have sadly gone their separate ways a year ago, they were still very much in love. Amid the July Springbok test series, Siya posted a collage of images that included his then-wife Rachel and children, as well as fellow players Cheslin Kolbe and Eben Etzebeth and their respective families. In the pics, Rachel and Siya embraced as they smiled for the cameras. Rachel reposted the images, captioning them: 'A Saturday full of my favourite things'.
