IND vs ENG: England include CSK all-rounder in squad for final Test against India
NEW DELHI: All-rounder
Jamie Overton
has been recalled to England's 15-member squad for the fifth and final Test against India, starting Thursday at The Oval. This marks a return to the Test side for the 31-year-old Surrey player, who last featured in the format in 2022.
Overton made his Test debut against New Zealand at Leeds, where he impressed with a knock of 97 and picked up two wickets. He also featured in three matches for Chennai Super Kings during the last IPL season.

Apart from Overton's inclusion, the rest of the squad remains unchanged from the fourth Test.
The England and Wales Cricket Board, in an official statement, said: "The England Men's selection panel has added Surrey all-rounder Jamie Overton to the squad for the Rothesay Fifth Test match against India at Kia Oval, starting on Thursday 31 July."
