The year 2025 has been very special for Meghan Markle , the Duchess of Sussex, who has not only launched her own Netflix series, "With Love, Meghan", but also launched her lifestyle brand "As Ever." Recently, the 43-year-old also launched her podcast in April, titled ' Confessions of a Female Founder '.In the latest episode of her podcast, Meghan was joined by Hannah Mendoza, the founder of the plant-based superfood latte and tea brand, Clevr Blends , where Meghan is also an investor. The two founders were discussing alternatives to caffeine, and Meghan shared her views on taboos around mushrooms and other adaptogens, also revealing that she had an Ayurvedic doctor when she was pregnant."During my pregnancies, I had an Ayurvedic doctor, and so much of it was about seeing food as medicine," said the Duchess on the show."I think a lot of people, when they hear mushrooms, they go, 'Okay, she's talking about being hippie dippie and grounded in all these things.' And if you aren't familiar with adaptogens, you can go to this place of, 'Oh, it's feeling a little psychedelic and super woo woo,' but what we're talking about is, in some ways, is food trends, which you were ahead of the curve on," she said. She shared how 10, 15 years ago, even Quinoa was not known to many, but now it's one of the most popular healthy foods in the world." So there are these items and ingredients that have been part of our natural ecosystem and dietary system for a long time, whether acknowledged or not, that somehow you say 'Mushrooms' and now people have a connotation attached to it, but it's really just a food trend that I believe you were far ahead of in terms of saying, 'Hold on, these have properties that can in some way make you feel differently, in a really safe way. '" she added. While she defended the consumption of adaptogens during pregnancy , the statement was also a move to promote the brand Clevr, which uses adaptogens across its products.According to Cleveland Clinic, adaptogens are plants and mushrooms that help the body respond to stress, anxiety, fatigue and overall well-being. They are non-toxic and help the body cope with stress and maintain its balance as mentioned in a study published in the journal Science Direct. Some ayurvedic adaptogens include ashwagandha, Indian gooseberry, tulsi, liquorice and certain mushrooms. While these are generally advised for consumption, during pregnancy, many people avoid them. While there is limited scientific research on the effect of adaptogenic mushrooms on pregnant women, most adaptogenic food is advised to be avoided. Adaptogenic items such as ashwagandha are known to cause uterine contraction and lead to miscarriage. Additionally, those such as Reishi mushrooms can cause liver damage. In general, it is understood that adaptogens can influence hormone levels and interact with medications, posing risks to not only the pregnant mother but also the unborn child. Thus, it is usually advised to consult a doctor before beginning to use adaptogenic supplements during pregnancy, which Markle seems to have done.

Kim Kardashian backed off—Dating isn't coming easy for Tom Brady as insiders think he is still obsessed with with Gisele Bündchen

Tom Brady is reportedly struggling in the dating world (Getty Images) NFL legend Tom Brady might have conquered the football world, but his personal life seems to be stuck at the line of scrimmage. Nearly three years after his high-profile divorce from supermodel Gisele Bündchen, the 47-year-old seven-time Super Bowl champion is reportedly struggling to find lasting chemistry in the dating scene—and insiders claim it's largely his own doing. Obsessed with the past? Tom Brady's dates reportedly include rants about Gisele Bündchen and self-pity Despite Tom Brady's fame, fortune, and elite athlete looks, sources say his emotional baggage is pushing away even the most interested women. According to 'Word's getting around that Tom's a whiny, flaky man diva and not much fun to be around.' The report paints a picture of a man still caught up in the past, unable to move on from his former relationship. Women who have gone on dates with Brady, insiders claim, often come away unimpressed—not because he's not attractive or successful, but because the former quarterback can't stop talking about how miserable he is. 'He whines about his ex and it just puts off any potential partners,' one source told Radar. The emotional wallowing hasn't just affected his everyday dating prospects—it's allegedly soured potential flings with A-list celebrities too. Even Kim Kardashian, once rumored to be flirting with the idea of dating the NFL star, has supposedly backed off. 'Even Kim Kardashian has given up the idea of dating him because he's wallowing around,' the source noted. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 5 Books Warren Buffett Wants You to Read In 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo Gisele Bündchen has moved on—leaving Tom Brady seemingly stuck in limbo While Bündchen enjoys a reportedly fulfilling relationship with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente and embraces a modern, blended family dynamic, Brady's romantic life has remained stagnant. Friends say his current behavior is only making things worse. 'When he is on dates, he just talks about himself and how miserable he is,' one insider added. 'That is never attractive to the opposite sex.' Even Brady's Met Gala appearance—an event where star power usually shines—did little to improve his image. Though surrounded by admirers, onlookers claimed he seemed distant and disengaged. One source summed it up bluntly: 'Unless he changes his strategy, he's never going to be able to get back in the game.' Whether Brady can bounce back emotionally the way he did on the field remains to be seen. Who is Aaron Rodgers' wife? NFL star confirms marriage but keeps her identity secret

NFL star Aaron Rodgers has confirmed he's a married man — but he's not saying who the bride is. The 41-year-old quarterback, who's preparing for his first season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, revealed the news at the team's minicamp this week, adding to the growing mystery around his personal life. Aaron Rodgers was seen wearing a wedding ring during a press interaction on Tuesday. When asked directly, he confirmed the marriage, saying simply, 'Been a couple of months,' referring to an offseason wedding earlier in 2025. However, that was all he would reveal. Rodgers offered no name, no date, and no details about his wife, keeping both fans and media guessing. Speculation has swirled for months. Back in April, Rodgers hinted on *The Pat McAfee Show* that he was in a 'serious relationship,' though he didn't name his partner. In a December 2024 interview, he mentioned dating a woman named 'Brittani' — with an 'I' — but whether she is now his wife remains unclear. Rodgers has had several high-profile romances in the past, including Olivia Munn, Danica Patrick and Shailene Woodley. In the 2024 Netflix series 'Aaron Rodgers: Enigma', he reflected on those public relationships, saying he now prefers to keep his love life out of the spotlight. 'I didn't do myself any favours with some of the girls I dated after that that were in the public eye,' he admitted. Aaron Rodgers is set to play his debut season with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025. The veteran quarterback has signed a one-year deal worth $13.6 million, with performance-based incentives that could take his earnings up to $19 million. As Rodgers gears up for a new chapter on the field with the Steelers, it seems he's also starting a new life at home — quietly and away from the public eye.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui slams streaming platforms for prioritizing profit over art: 'Baazar toh ban hi gaya'

Nawazuddin Siddiqui criticized streaming platforms for prioritizing profits over creativity, calling them marketplaces. He warned that overemphasizing commercial aspects harms art. Recently, Anurag Kashyap called Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos 'the definition of dumb,' sparking mixed reactions, including a subtle jab from Ekta Kapoor referencing Kashyap's 'saas-bahu' remark. Nawazuddin Siddiqui has frequently voiced his concerns about the Hindi film industry's shortcomings. Recently, he also took aim at streaming services, accusing them of putting business and profits ahead of creativity and artistic quality. According to him, these platforms have turned into commercial hubs, losing sight of true artistic values. Streaming Platforms Turning into Marketplaces Talking to SCREEN, Siddiqui said, 'Irrespective of any platform or any process, it starts out as great and then turns into a market. Baazar toh ban hi gaya hai. Studios in India keep saying we need 'commercial' qualities attached to every project. I don't agree with that. If the product is of a certain quality, then the commercial aspect eventually gets attached to it organically.' The Harm of Overemphasizing Commercial Aspects He explained that placing too much emphasis on the commercial side of art can cause significant harm. Over time, projects that begin with great passion often end up becoming purely business ventures.
