Oasis fans warned no public parking allowed around Croke Park
Croke Park
this weekend as tens of thousands of
Oasis
fans head to the long-awaited Irish leg of the Oasis Live '25 world tour.
Before the tour Oasis had not performed live in Britain or Ireland in 16 years and crowds are expected to be significant on both Saturday and Sunday nights.
Transport for Ireland has warned concertgoers not to bring cars to the stadium and parking will be prohibited in a wide area, including residential streets around the stadium.
On the Dart and commuter rail network, there will be extra trains before and after the concerts on the Maynooth line, serving Drumcondra Station directly, while the northern commuter line and city centre routes will have additional Dart services to cater for demand.

Concertgoers are encouraged to travel early and to expect trains to be busy. Alcohol is not permitted on any train services.

Irish Rail has announced additional intercity train and commuter services. But the company warned that many trains on intercity routes are already sold out – on Friday, as well as for the Saturday and Sunday concert dates – with remaining tickets selling fast.
Irish Rail urged those planning to travel long distances for the gigs or for other reasons to book their travel as soon as possible at
irishrail.ie
or the Iarnród Éireann app, as tickets will not be available at intercity stations on the day. Customers must travel on the specific train booked.

Oasis Dublin stage times, support acts and when concert ends as countdown begins
Oasis fans getting ready for their two sold out shows in Croke Park this weekend may be anxious to check out stage times in case they are arriving in late, or don't want to miss one of the support acts. With the countdown ticking down, thousands of fans up and down the country, and from abroad, are packing their bucket hats and practising belting out tunes from the top of their voices. Support for Oasis throughout the tour has been consistent, with Liverpudlian indie rockers Cast taking on support duties, alongside The Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft. While some provisional stage times have been released for the Croke Park shows, these can be subject to change, so make sure to keep an eye on any updates. As it stands gates open up at 5pm for fans to flock in, with Cast taking to the stage for 6pm, playing around seven tunes. Richard Ashcroft, clad in his iconic dark sunglasses, will head to the stage with his band at 7pm, also playing a seven song set. Oasis, who have been playing a two hour set, will grace the audience with their presence for 8:15pm, giving fans around 30 minutes to clear out of the stadium before curfew hits. Here is a rundown of the stage times: 5:00pm Gates open 6:00pm Cast 7:00pm Richard Ashcroft 8:15pm Oasis 10:45pm Curfew Tickets for the Oasis reunion sold out across all venues due to huge demand when they went online earlier in the year. Dublin museum offers deep dive into Oasis' Irish roots
As Oasismania reaches fever pitch in Ireland this weekend with the band's two dates at Croke Park, one Dublin museum is getting in on the act and offering fans a chance to take a deep dive into the rockers' Irish roots. EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum is presenting Definitely Irish: The Oasis Tour, an exploration of Noel and Liam Gallagher's connections to Mayo and Meath. All the original line-up of Oasis have Irish roots, with the brothers' parents, Peggy and Tommy, hailing from Mayo and Meath respectively. Liam and Noel spent many childhood summers in their ancestral home and both claim their trips to Ireland had a huge impact on their music and lyrics. Noel Gallagher has previously described the band's celebrated debut 1994 album, Definitely Maybe, as "the sound of five second-generation Irish Catholics coming out of a council estate." Guitarist Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs, who has rejoined Oasis for their reunion tour. has said that the Celtic blood of cities like Liverpool and Manchester that explains Ireland's outsized impact on Oasis' music. Speaking about Definitely Irish: The Oasis Tour, a spokesperson for EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum said, "It's impossible to overstate the significance of Noel and Liam Gallagher reuniting for a world tour. "The Definitely Irish Oasis Tour shines a spotlight on just how deeply rooted that heritage is, from the cultural backdrop that shaped their music to the emotional pull of home that still echoes through their lyrics." Oasis are due to play to 160,000 fans this Saturday and Sunday night in Croke Park in what will be their first Irish shows since they played Slane Castle in summer 2009.
