Sam Thompson reveals Love Islander invited him to the Hideaway after making a VERY steamy remark about him
Speaking to pal Pete Wicks on their Staying Relevant podcast, Sam recalled an encounter with a star from this year's show, Helena Ford, 29, where she'd asked him to go to the Hideaway.
Helena's offer came after a tweet written by her back in 2017 resurfaced ahead of the Love Island final, in which she had asked where to apply to 'sit on Sam Thompson's face'.
On the podcast, Pete, 36, poked fun at Sam, 33, asking if Helena had given him a birthday treat and 'squatted on his snoz' when they finally came face to face.
Sam revealed he did indeed spark up a conversation with Helena at Aftersun, as he said: 'So basically Helena is sat on a stall and I went do you know what I'm going to go and say hello. So I go over to her and say "Hey Helena how are you?" and she goes "We need to speak. I think you know what about".
'I was like "Is it about the face sitting incident?" And she actually played on it and was like "Well the hideaway is free now?".'
The comment shocked Sam's podcast co-host Pete, whose jaw-dropped at the remark.
Sam added: 'She took the banter really really well and even gave a little bit back so fair play to her.
'And I can only wish her godspeed on whatever journey she decides to go on.'
The chat came after Pete read out a tweet made by Helena about Sam years earlier, in a previous podcast episode.
'Where do I apply to sit on Sam Thompson's face? Asking for a mate,' the tweet written by Helena at the time had said.
Pete warned Sam that he and Helena would come face to face on Aftersun, to which the Made In Chelsea star said: 'I don't mind coming on to ask her!'
After the video from the podcast was shared on TikTok, Helena commented: 'They don't call me hideaway Helena for nothing.'
It comes after Sam was forced to break the news of his split from Zara McDermott to Jamie Lee Curtis on Monday, after the Hollywood actress previously tipped the pair for marriage.
The reality star was reunited with the actress, 66, on his Hits Radio Breakfast Show and they reminisced over her previous appearance during which time he was still dating Zara.
Sam revealed that Jamie had been his first ever guest on his first ever show on the station and was so nervous that he lied, and that untruth led to her calling for him to get down on one knee.
He sheepishly told her: 'Last time we met, I may have lied to you, it was my first day and I said about pre-drinks and you went "I'm sober"' - e arlier this year Jamie celebrated 26-years of sobriety.
Sam recalled panicking in the moment and was so worried about upsetting his guest that he lied and confessed to also being teetotal.
'You lied to me' Jamie said with a smile on her face, to which the host replied: 'I fully lied to your face'.
Sam said he remembered Jamie asking him he had decided to give up alcohol, which saw him forced to 'make up a story on the spot'.
'I said: "My girlfriend doesn't drink and I'm trying to just be more like her and not drink" and you were like "That is the nicest thing anyone's ever said" you were like "get her a ring!".
Jamie chimed in: 'I did, I said: "Put a ring on it" and?' she asked expectantly, to which a giggling same replied: 'Oh no, we broke up!'.
'Because you were drunk!' the Hollywood actress quipped as the studio collapsed into giggles.
Sam and Zara, 28, ended their five year relationship in December, following a holiday season spent separately.

First Match of the Day lineup after Gary Lineker's exit is revealed with TWO legendary England strikers on the punditry panel - as new hosts all vow not to post about controversial issues
The first Match of the Day lineup since Gary Lineker's departure has been revealed, according to reports. Mark Chapman, Gabby Logan and Kelly Cates will begin hosting duties on the BBC 's flagship football show this weekend as the new Premier League season kicks off with reigning champions Liverpool against Bournemouth on Friday. It marks a new direction for the programme after Lineker, who was the mainstay presenter for 26 years on Match of the Day, waved farewell after being axed by the BBC in May over a social media post he shared which ignited an antisemitism row. Only one of the three presenters will take part in Saturday's season curtain-raiser, given the trio have agreed to share hosting responsibilities throughout the campaign. According to the Telegraph, Chapman will host the show and be joined by pundits Alan Shearer and Wayne Rooney. Cates, meanwhile, is scheduled to host the BBC's coverage of European football next week. Shearer was a regular fixture on Match of the Day during the latter stages of Lineker's 26-year stint and continues to work with his former England team-mate on various podcasts including The Rest is Football. Rooney is set to sit alongside Shearer on the maiden Match of the Day for the 2025-26 season, having signed a new deal with the Beeb as he awaits the next opportunity in his managerial career. The England legend has yet to return to management since being sacked by Plymouth in 2024, which came after disappointing spells at DC United and Birmingham City. Ahead of the first show, the new Match of the Day hosts replacing Lineker have promised not to post about controversial issues on social media. Prior to his Match of the Day departure, the 64-year-old presenter shared an Instagram story about Zionism featuring a rat - a symbol used by the Nazis to characterise Jews as vermin. Lineker, who apoligised, deleted the post and admitted his departure from Match of the Day was the 'responsible course of action' back in May, left without a payoff from his £1.4million-a-year salary. The antisemitism row is understood to have been the final straw for BBC bosses after Lineker made a habit of posting about a range of controversial issues, from the war in Gaza to the government's immigration policy. Chapman, Logan and Cates have vowed to steer clear of posting about controversial topics, keeping in line with the BBC's social media guidelines. Logan, Chapman and Cates have vowed to steer clear of posting about controversial topics Logan told Radio Times: 'I've been conducting myself on social media while working at the BBC for nearly two decades. 'The broadcaster is probably under the most scrutiny of any in the country because of the way it's funded and because it's accountable to the public. That's how it should be. We strive to have the highest standards. Hopefully, we'll just get on with our jobs.' Cates added: 'I don't think I've ever really weighed in that much on anything that isn't either about football or something quite silly. That's not how I've ever used social media. 'It helps that we're all really different from Gary, in that he goes in with a profile of his own as an England legend. It's a very different career path. An ex-player taking over would be a more direct comparison.'

Strictly Come Dancing star in hospital after horror during rehearsals
A Strictly Come Dancing star was taken to hospital after suffering a fall during rehearsals for the upcoming series of the BBC show. Strictly Come Dancing professional Nadiya Bychkova was rushed to hospital following a horrific tumble during training sessions. The dancer was rehearsing in north London on Tuesday afternoon when she suffered a painful injury that left her in considerable discomfort. Paramedics were summoned over concerns about her back injury. An insider revealed: "It looked pretty nasty and no-one was taking any chances. The Strictly crew rushed into action and she was stretchered out." A source close to Strictly said: "As a precaution, following a fall during rehearsals, Nadiya was taken to hospital for checks and is receiving full support from medical and welfare teams. Rehearsals continue and the Strictly team are in close contact with Nadiya.", reports the Mirror. A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 12:37pm on Tuesday 12 August to reports of an incident at Regent's Park Road, NW1. We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and treated one person before taking them to hospital". Nadiya, 35, underwent several hours of medical examinations but it's believed she has now been discharged from hospital. The incident unfolds as fresh Strictly celebrities were revealed yesterday, featuring a YouTube personality, an EastEnders star and a Love Island champion amongst the initial group of participants. Podcast presenter and YouTube personality George Clarke was confirmed as the sixth famous participant. Clarke, also known as George Clarkey, revealed: "Never thought I'd say this ... but I'm doing Strictly! Honestly, I've got no idea what I'm doing but I'm excited to get stuck in ... and potentially fall over a fair bit." This follows EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal's announcement as a contestant during a live segment from Albert Square on ITV's Good Morning Britain (GMB). She revealed that "being on Strictly is a dream that I held on to, with no proof that it would ever happen". The remaining celebrities confirmed for the competition include Love Island champion Dani Dyer, Gladiators favourite Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Doctor Who star Alex Kingston and ex-footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. During her appearance on The One Show following her announcement, Dyer, daughter of actor Danny Dyer, expressed: "It's such a fun magical show - to be asked to do it is such an honour. I just can't wait to be able to wear (the costumes) - it's going to be so much fun." Former Chelsea striker Hasselbaink commented: "I'm a father of only girls and Strictly is a part of our home life - I like the show. Let's have a go." Kingston, who cut short her Italian holiday to chat with presenters Alex Scott and Roman Kemp, quipped: "I was super excited but now I'm terrified." Aikines-Aryeetey, recognised as Nitro on the revamped Gladiators, took part in last year's Strictly Christmas Special and explained his Monday decision to return as "so nice I just had to do it twice". In July, the BBC revealed that two "incredible" new professional dancers, Alexis Warr from the US and Australian Julian Caillon, would be joining the show. Presenters Daly and Winkleman will be back, alongside judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas. Strictly is set to return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer this coming September.
