The trio told Business Insider they'd be open to flipping a house together.

Nearly 10 years after they separated, the "Flip or Flop" stars Tarek El Moussa and Christina Haack are reuniting on HGTV.
"The Flip Off," which premieres Wednesday, stars the pair and Heather Rae El Moussa, Tarek El Moussa's wife.
The show originally intended to pit the El Moussas against Haack and her husband, Josh Hall, to see who could make the most money from flipping a home. After Haack and Hall filed for divorce in July, Haack did most of the competition against the El Moussas solo.
Though the show makes Haack and the El Moussas competitors, the trio told Business Insider they were open to working as a team in the future.
Haack and Tarek El Moussa were married from 2009 to 2018, and they share two children, Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9. They also starred in "Flip or Flop" from 2013 to 2022.
Tarek El Moussa married Heather, a former "Selling Sunset" star, in 2021. They share one son, Tristan, who will turn 2 on Friday. Haack has a son, Hudson, 5, from her relationship with her ex-husband Ant Anstead.
"The Flip Off" marks the first on-screen collaboration between Haack and Tarek since "Flip or Flop" ended, though each has their own HGTV series now. Tarek and Heather star on "The Flipping El Moussas" together, and Haack has turned to spotlighting her renovations for clients in "Christina on the Coast" and "Christina in the Country."
Despite all their experience with real estate and reality TV, competing against each other was new for Haack and Tarek. When asked if they'd consider returning to their roots and flipping a house as a trio on- or off-screen, Haack and Heather said they were interested, though Tarek wasn't quite as enthusiastic.
He nodded at the question and said, "Hmm," prompting Haack to tell him to relax through laughter.
"Every time someone asks this question, we're like, 'Yeah, that would be so fun,'" she said of herself and Heather. "This one's over here like, 'Oh, I don't know.'"
"He's like, 'I don't know if I want to work with them,'" Heather said, mimicking her husband's voice.
The trio bickered about the idea before Haack asked Tarek directly about teaming up.
"If I was like, 'Hey, would you guys like to partner on a flip and we can split the profits,' you would say no?" Haack said.
"I would say yes," Tarek said.
"OK then, that's your answer," Haack told BI, laughing.

"Why am I getting in trouble right now? What happened?" Tarek said jokingly.
Heather said she'd be excited to collaborate with Haack from a design perspective.
"I think it would be fun to see Christina and I design together," she said, adding that she'd be interested to see if they could bring their ideas together.
Only time will tell if the El Moussas and Haack combine their design forces, but the fact that it's even a possibility is a testament to how their relationship has grown in recent years.
When "Flip or Flop" ended in March 2022, reports suggested that filming had become "too intimate" for Haack and Tarek.
Two months later, photos appeared to show Haack and Heather fighting at one of Brayden's soccer games and a coach separating Hall and Tarek. Haack and Heather later released a joint statement saying they had resolved a "personal matter," and the pair put aside their differences when Brayden had a health emergency a few days later.
The tension seemed like a distant memory when the trio talked to BI, laughing together as they discussed the series.
Haack also told BI that filming the show without Hall ended up being a "major advantage" because he didn't have as much experience with flipping or reality TV as she does.
"I think that without him it's just easier," she said. A representative for Hall didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
"The Flip Off" premieres on HGTV at 8 p.m. ET. You can also stream the show on Max.

The first trailer for 'Wicked: For Good' features Glinda's wedding and Dorothy. Here's everything we know about the sequel.

"Wicked: For Good," the second installment of the "Wicked" movie franchise, premieres on November 21. The film will cover the second part of the hit Broadway musical. Here's what we know so far about "Wicked: For Good," including the cast. The first trailer for "Wicked: For Good" is out — and it gives a glimpse into how Dorothy and Elphaba's stories overlap. The film is an adaptation of the second part of the hit Broadway musical, "Wicked," which retold the 1939 movie, "The Wizard of Oz," from the perspective of Elphaba: the Wicked Witch of the West. Although recent cinema adaptations of stage musicals like "Cats" and Steven Spielberg's "West Side Story" haven't beeb box-office successes, the first "Wicked" movie defied gravity by making $756 million worldwide and becoming the fifth highest-grossing film of 2024. "Wicked: For Good" premieres on November 21. Marc Platt, who produced the "Wicked" stage production, said he intended for the story to be a film but Stephen Schwartz, who composed the music and lyrics, changed his mind. "I waited a very long time to make the movie," Platt, who produced the film, said at the movie's London premiere in November 2024, attended by Business Insider. The first movie tells of how Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), who is mistreated for her green skin and magical powers, became the Wicked Witch. At Shiz University, a magical school in the world of Oz, she befriends her self-absorbed roommate, Glinda (Ariana Grande). Elphaba wants to stop whoever is caging the kingdom's talking animals. When they go to the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, the ruler of Oz (Jeff Goldblum), Elphaba asks for his help. But they learn he's a con man and plotting with Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh), a magic professor at Shiz, to turn the world against the talking animals. They want Elphaba's help because she can read a special book of spells — but instead she steals it and leaves behind Emerald City and Glinda, who still believes in the Wizard. The second film will cover the second act, set a few years after the first, and overlaps with the plot of "The Wizard of Oz." Glinda and Madame Morrible are now part of the Wizard's administration. Fiyero Tigelaar, who Glinda and Elphaba fell for in the first act, is head of a squad hunting for Elphaba. Nessarose Thropp, the governor of Munchkinland, has become cruel and earned the title of the Wicked Witch of the East. Elphaba, now known as the Wicked Witch of the West, tries to protect the animals and people of Oz, but only harms her loved ones. When her sister is crushed and killed by Dorothy's house, and Fiyero is seemingly killed, she vows to become truly wicked. This establishes her character as the witch depicted in "The Wizard of Oz." The first trailer for "Wicked: For Good," which was released on June 4, shares many plot points from the second act of the stage musical. Fiyero is leading a squad that is hunting Elphaba, but seems to be protecting her from the Wizard. Meanwhile, Elphaba is sowing dissent by writing "Our Wizard lies" in the skies above Oz and freeing the animals. There are glimpses of Glinda and Fiyero's wedding, Madame Morrible creating the tornado that brings Dorothy to Oz, and Glinda and Elphaba resolving their differences. The teaser also shows Dorothy, the Lion, the Tin Man, and the Scarecrow, whom the Wizard tells to steal Elphaba's broom. Dorothy is typically not played by an actor in the stage musical, but appears more prominently in the trailer. The trailer also features Erivo and Grande's performance of "For Good," which features in the second act of the stage musical and gives the sequel its name. Both parts of "Wicked" were filmed simultaneously, and all its stars will return in the sequel. The cast, director, and crew have all shared reasons for splitting "Wicked" into two films. The film's director, Jon Chu, and producer, Marc Platt, have said in interviews that they didn't want to cram or cut songs or characters to fit one movie. Erivo told Entertainment Weekly in February 2024 that the split allowed more space to develop her character's friendship and rivalry with Glinda the Good Witch, played by Grande. A fan newsletter, "The Schwartz Scene," reported that the composer said there had to be a break after "Defying Gravity," the final song in the musical's first act. "We found it very difficult to get past 'Defying Gravity' without a break," he said. "That song is written specifically to bring a curtain down, and whatever scene to follow it without a break just seemed hugely anti-climactic." In 2023, Schwartz told the now-defunct site, The Messenger, that the second part will include new original songs written for the film. "The storytelling required it, and therefore they were created—the intention was that they were organic and not imposed on the movie," he said. Read the original article on Business Insider

It sure looks like Mark Cuban is on board with Elon Musk's idea of a new political party

Mark Cuban and Elon Musk don't always agree on politics. However, Cuban appeared to like Musk's idea for a new political party for "the middle." Musk proposed the idea on X amid his ongoing feud with President Donald Trump. Billionaires Mark Cuban and Elon Musk seem to have found some common ground. As the Tesla CEO's relationship with President Donald Trump blows up in real time on social media amid their clash over the "Big Beautiful Bill," Musk proposed creating a new political party for "the middle." "Is it time to create a new political party in America that actually represents the 80% in the middle?" Musk asked in an X poll on Thursday. Cuban, who has sparred with Musk on X multiple times on subjects ranging from DEI to Trump, appeared to endorse the idea, responding to Musk's post with three check marks. Cuban did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Business Insider. That Cuban is attracted to the idea of a new political party may not come as a surprise. The former "Shark Tank" star and Cost Plus Drugs founder has previously expressed his dismay with both political parties. He once described himself as "socially centrist" while "very fiscally conservative." During the 2024 election, Cuban campaigned heavily for former Vice President Kamala Harris, previously telling BI that he liked that she's "not an ideologue" and supporting her pro-business stance. In January, when journalist Matthew Yglesias proposed a 2028 presidential run for Cuban, BI asked the billionaire if he'd seriously consider the proposal. "No," Cuban responded. Danny Boyle wouldn't direct another James Bond movie despite the franchise's move to Amazon: 'That ship has sailed'

Amazon's deal to take creative control of the James Bond franchise from longtime producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson may have rocked Hollywood, but the news hasn't changed director Danny Boyle's opinions about a potential return to the franchise. "That ship has sailed," Boyle told Business Insider, when asked if the recent news would make him reconsider directing a future Bond film. Boyle famously dropped out of the 25th James Bond movie in 2018 over creative differences with the franchise's then-shepherds Broccoli and Wilson. The project would eventually become the final movie with Daniel Craig as 007, 2021's " No Time to Die," directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga. "The thing I regret about that is the script was really good," said Boyle. "John Hodge is a wonderful writer." Boyle signed on to the 25th Bond movie in 2018 and teamed with Hodge, his longtime collaborator who wrote the scripts for Boyle's feature debut "Shallow Grave," "The Beach," and both "Trainspotting" movies. The Oscar-winning director revealed in 2022 that the story would have revolved around a Russian villain, and that Hodge's script had "embraced" the fact that Bond would die, since Craig had negotiated that in the end of his contract. But, according to Boyle, Broccoli and Wilson weren't enthusiastic about it. "I don't think they appreciated how good that script was, and because they didn't, we moved on, and that's the way it should be," Boyle told BI. In February, Amazon MGM Studios announced that it had taken creative control of the Bond franchise with Broccoli and Wilson stepping aside. The change in who is running the legendary IP may not have impacted Boyle's feelings about giving Bond another shot, but he's also pretty busy at the moment. He's currently working on a trilogy of "28 Years Later," films, which are a continuation of his acclaimed 2002 zombie horror "28 Days Later." After "28 Years Later" opens on June 20, "28 Years Later: The Bone Temple" is slated for January 16, 2026. Boyle said he hopes that with a tease of "28 Days" star Cillian Murphy returning in "The Bone Temple," he can also get a third movie greenlit. For Boyle, his time with 007 is a distant memory. "Whatever happens with Bond going forward now is what it will be," he said.
