After parting ways with Scooter Braun, Bieber was seen experimenting with his music and going through a new creative process in this album.
Justin Bieber took the internet by storm when he dropped his seventh studio album, Swag, after four years. Swag marks the Canadian pop icon's comeback since his previous album, Justice, released in 2021. While fans laud Bieber's much-awaited comeback, the Baby crooner is spending a celebratory weekend with their wife, Hailey Bieber.
According to PEOPLE reports, a source closer to Bieber claimed that the couple is celebrating Swag, especially because Bieber made the record on his own after splitting up with former manager Scooter Braun. 'Hailey was by Justin's side for the whole creation of the album. Everyone knows Justin as a star and performer. They now get to know the artist that Hailey has known all these years," the source told the outlet.
Fans have noticed that Bieber shifted from his signature genre to experimenting with R&B and soft pop. As per PEOPLE reports, the source claimed that with Swag, Bieber felt he was able to make the kind of album he truly wanted. After parting ways with Scooter Braun, Bieber was seen going through a new creative process, where he chose the musicians and producers he wanted to collaborate with and used live vocals and instruments to create a stripped-down style in his album.
'Hailey supported Justin to follow his artistic instincts," the source revealed while explaining how Hailey helped Bieber to trust himself and do what he wanted to do as an artist. The source further claimed that Bieber wanted to record an album like Swag for years; however, he did not get the opportunity until he parted ways with Braun and gained full control of his creative direction.
Bieber and Braun worked together for more than 15 years before splitting up in 2023. The music producer was seen praising Bieber on his latest album on social media. Taking to Instagram stories, Braun wrote, 'This is, without a doubt, the most authentically Justin Bieber album to date. It's beautiful, raw and truly him. And that matters."
According to Rolling Stone, Bieber has no regrets for parting ways with Braun. 'Breaking away from Scooter Braun and his team has been something that Justin has wanted for so long and now that he's fully free, he could finally share this album with his fans and with the world," a source told the outlet.
Considered to be Bieber's most personal record to date, Swag features 21 tracks where Bieber collaborated with artists like Lil B, Druski, Gunna, Sexyy Red and more.

Vir Das Does Not Know Kapil Sharma 'Very Well': 'He Is So Much Of Your Punjabi...'

Vir Das says that while Kapil Sharma is a "Punjabi everyman travelling through India", he comes from a different background altogether. Vir Das has gained global recognition, but does he ever think about the fact that he hasn't gained the massive popularity in India in a way that Kapil Sharma or Zakir Khan does? In a recent interview, the Emmy award winner shared that he does not think a lot about it since his journey is very different from that of Kapil or Zakir. Das mentioned that while Kapil is a 'Punjabi everyman travelling through India", he comes from a different background altogether. 'Perhaps my journey is to have deeper interactions with a smaller group of people over a longer period of time. To do what both of them do, which is masterful in their own way, you have to be where they're from and have their own lived-in experiences. You can see Zakir grew up in classical music and poetry. And Kapil Sharma is so much your Punjabi everyman travelling through India. I'm not from anywhere. Unfortunately, I've grown up everywhere so I'll have to be who I am. If I ever tried to do that, you'd smell the inauthenticity in the material," Vir Das told SCREEN. Asked if he ever picks up anything from Kapil or Zakir, Vir Das nodded positively. However, the stand-up comedian explained that even though he does not know Kapil 'very well", they are connected due to the comedy circuit in India. 'I like watching art that makes you angry and makes you want to be better. I go to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe once a year, where I see a random 25-year-old comedian who's written a show that I was never capable of at 25. So I'll go back and write some more. But we all support each other. I did a trial show at Soho Theatre, London last month. Zakir was in town, he popped up and watched my whole thing. I don't know Kapil very well. Of course, we've met only intermittently. But comedians on the comedy circuit in India are always WhatsApping each other and are in each other's feedback loop," he added. On the work front, Vir Das is all set to return with his new Netflix special, 'Vir Das: Fool Volume," premiering July 18. Filmed in Mumbai, New York, and London, it showcases his signature multi-city format. On the other hand, Kapil Sharma's The Great Indian Kapil Show 3 is also currently streaming on Netflix. Coldplay, cuddles, and corporate chaos: Astronomer CEO Andy Byron's viral moment unpacked

TL;DR What happened? Coldplay's Kiss Cam caught CEO Andy Byron and CPO Kristin Cabot embracing—in the company of thousands. Why it blew up? Internet culture + memes+ workplace ethics = explosive mix. What's at stake? PR crisis for Astronomer, HR ethics questions, personal relationship drama. Where it stands? No apology. No clarity. Mass speculation. And now? All eyes on the board, internal policies, and who speaks next. Picture this: July 16, 2025, Gillette Stadium in Boston. Coldplay is playing, the crowd's loving it, and midway through the show, they flash to the Kiss Cam—an interactive segment meant to bring some wholesome fun. Only this time, it captured something far from cute. On the big screen: Andy Byron, CEO of the billion-dollar AI/data startup Astronomer, and next to him, Kristin Cabot, the firm's Chief People Officer. They were clearly close—arms wrapped, bodies leaning in—until they spotted themselves illuminated on a stadium-wide screen. Chaos ensued: Andy ducked like he'd been tagged, Kristin buried her face. And frontman Chris Martin couldn't resist cracking a joke from the stage: 'Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy.' That moment instantly turned into the internet's new favorite drama series. From Stadium to Instagram to Twitter Within minutes of that awkward embrace, fans started filming, posting, and theorizing. The clip exploded on TikTok and X, igniting speculation about a possible office affair. Suddenly, it was more than just an embarrassing moment—it became 'Coldplaygate,' capturing imaginations across gossip mills, sports jokes, and HR ethics debates. It wasn't just entertainment anymore—it sparked questions like: 'What's the relationship here?' 'Is this workplace misconduct?' and 'Why did neither of them come forward?' Despite all the buzz, neither Astronomer, nor Byron, nor Cabot have commented publicly. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like This Could Be the Best Time to Trade Gold in 5 Years IC Markets Learn More Undo Astronomer even disabled comments on LinkedIn and X posts, leaving the internet to run wild. This silence only fueled conspiracy threads and workplace rumor mill fodder. Despite rumors of a Byron apology quoting Coldplay lyrics, as per reports Astronomer spokesperson denied it, labeling that circulating letter as "fake". And there's been zero public mea culpa from Cabot—just radio silence. That quiet may seem strategic, or just tone-deaf, depending on who you ask. This isn't just tabloid fodder—it's a real HR ethics flashpoint. Cabot, as Chief People Officer, is essentially in charge of setting tone and policies at Astronomer. And now her cozy moment with the CEO is front and center. As one HR consultant Kate Walker told Business Insider, 'a hard launch of a workplace romantic relationship at a Coldplay concert is not the best way to go about it.' Byron's wife, Megan Kerrigan Byron, deleted her Facebook and dropped 'Byron' from her name—actions people read as a sign of personal fallout. It's unclear if they've separated, but the move added a real-world layer of relationship tension to the story. This all started as a fun arena moment and morphed into a multi-front scandal: sports-team jokes, investor bets, board-led workplace oversights, and very real pressure on personal lives. With no public comments or apologies, the ball's in Astronomer's court: how they react next could make or break trust—with staff, investors, and the wider tech world.
