Trinny London's long-lasting foundation that withstands 'hot and humid' weather
Trinny London is a hit in the beauty world for its portable, stackable and minimalistic makeup products, along with its supreme anti-ageing skincare formulas. As the weather heats up, one of the brand's items is growing more and more popular for lasting through hot weather.
The BFF All Day Foundation, £41, comes in a whopping 18 shades for light, medium and deep skin tones, making it easy for beauty fans to find their perfect match. Not only is the formula hailed as 'lightweight' by reviewers, but also promises to smooth skin and minimise the look of fine lines.
The Trinny foundation leaves behind a matte finish, perfect for delivering a natural look. Ingredients like pro-ceramide help smooth out skin texture, while vitamin B3 addresses the appearance of ageing signs.
A similar option is Giorgio Armani's Luminous Silk Foundation, retailing at £23.20 (was £29) on Boots. Offered in 40 shades, it claims to offer medium coverage for glowy skin. Those wanting a breathable formula for less can check out the e.l.f. Soft Glam Satin Foundation for £6.40 from Amazon.
The BFF All Day Foundation has earned a 4.3-star rating from fans, with one delighted reviewer commenting: "Perfect! Lightweight, moisturising, and doesn't settle into my fine lines /pores. Stayed on even with humid climate conditions."
Another added: "Great coverage, but light and easy to apply. I use Sophie in the summer and Amy in the winter when I'm paler. Something that doesn't slide off my face during the day if it's hot, and makes my skin look amazing!"
However, not everyone was thrilled with the foundation. One person gave it a three-star review, saying: "I prefer the destress tinted serum. The formula is much better for my skin."
Meanwhile, a fourth makeup fan said the product made them 'look younger'. They added: "This is the best foundation I have ever used. It makes me look younger and my skin looks radiant. Truly love it worth every penny."
According to Trinny London, the BFF All Day Foundation offers all-day staying power, as well as coverage that doesn't crease, cake, or settle into fine lines. Shoppers can snap it up for £41 here.
Heat, humidity and sweat can make it hard for makeup to stay put, but there are ways to prolong any base. This Nars Light Reflecting Primer hydrates the skin with hyaluronic acid, helping to prep the skin for seamless makeup application while ensuring the wearer's glow lasts all day. It's on sale at LookFantastic for £35.20, down from £44.

Popular brand launches holiday-inspired perfumes and one is like 'sunshine in a bottle'
The inclusive fashion house has tried their hand at personal fragrance and we've got our hands on them Popular high street retailer Never Fully Dressed is best known for their stylish ensembles, but now, the growing brand has dipped it's toe into new territory with it's first foray into fragrance. It's a smart move, and a 'natural next step' for the retailer, seeing as we have to agree that no outfit is complete without a spritz of perfume. As such, Never Fully Dressed has released two stand out scents that come in both a wearable perfume and candle form. Both scents, named 001 and 002, have been inspired by the Balearic Islands, making them ideal picks for summer. Speaking on the launch, NFD founder Lucy Aylen said: 'Our community has always inspired how we create - and scent was the natural next step, we wanted to bottle up that feeling of empowerment, connection, and freedom you get on a European holiday. Whether it's morning espresso in the sun or dancing barefoot under the stars - these scents bring the story to life.' Shoppers 'stop using shower gel' thanks to new 'favourite' that 'smells better' Olivia Attwood's 'stunning' initial necklace that 'goes with everything' is on sale Naturally, our scent enthusiasts, perfume expert Jada Jones and former Boots fragrance counter employee Bethan Shufflebotham couldn't wait to try them out. For fans of Jazz Club and Tobacco Vanille, 001 is probably the way to go. It combines spices like saffron, cinnamon and black pepper with coffee, rum, sandalwood and oud for something perfect for cooler months. Meanwhile, those who prefer a fruitier fragrance that lends itself to sunny days, the raspberry-forward 002 could be the perfect alternative to scents like Jo Malone Raspberry Ripple or Mugler's Angel Nova. Jada tried 001 I was very nervous when I saw what notes were in this perfume as I typically avoid saffron, oud and tobacco in my own perfumes. Any nerves I had were quickly squashed as soon as I first sprayed it from the bottle. Although I definitely lean more to classically feminine fragrances and this one is undeniably unisex, there's a sultry vibe to it that makes it quite pleasant. I think it's on the heavier side for summer but can see this being a hit this autumn. It would be such a great date night scent and there's the added bonus that it smells a lot more expensive than it is. The bottle is also a stunning addition to any collection. I found it easily lasts six hours on my skin and didn't need topping up, it might have the potential to last longer although I've not noticed that yet. This would make a great gift and has the added benefit of leaning unisex so it's easy to share with loved ones. I'm curious to see where this range goes. Bethan tried 002 I can't talk about this perfume without first mentioning the absolutely gorgeous bottle. It comes in an amber vessel with a pink marble effect lid, which I think I could repurpose as a little candlestick holder when I'm through with the scent. It looks stunning on display on a dressing table, which means I find myself reaching for it more frequently than the bottles I have stashed in a drawer, too, so I've no doubt I'll get through this fast. If the packaging wasn't joyful enough, then comes the fragrance itself, which really is like sunshine in a bottle. It's not your classic Sol de Janeiro kind of holiday scent, but really offers up something a little bit different and unique. When you first spray it, you get a fresh, juicy hit of raspberry with a little spicy kick from pink pepper - it's bright and uplifting so you feel instantly awake and the juxtaposition between the two notes is lovely. After a few minutes, it softens into a mix of fresh greens and florals thanks to the jasmine and cedar leaf. It's still light, but feels a bit more grown-up and polished. Then as it dries down, the scent turns warmer and more addictive, with vanilla, amber and patchouli. While the fragrance is distinctly a day-time scent, it's these final notes which make it great for layering for an evening vibe. It costs £69 for the 100ml, however, those looking just to try it out can get the 10ml for £19 - ideal for travelling - however, you don't then get the benefit of the beautiful bottle.

Sophie Turner broke up celeb couple as she's accused of flirting with A-lister's fiancé
Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner has revealed she caused the break up of a celebrity couple after making one gesture at a glitzy showbiz bash that ended in an awkward confrontation Sophie Turner has boldly admitted she was to blame for breaking up a celebrity couple following a run-in at a lavish party. The Game of Thrones actress, 29, shocked fans with the wild confession as she laid it all bare. She decided to make the revelation while on Late Night with Seth Meyers as she reminisced about her first meeting with the TV host. Sophie said they met over a decade ago at San Diego Comic-Con but confessed her night "quickly went south". The actress said she headed to the event's after party and was excited to let her hair down. It comes after Andy Carroll 'splits from Lou Teasdale due to her demands' weeks after public row. "And that was it," Sophie said. However, things didn't end there. Sophie continued: "And then later on I see this girl looking at me and she's a famous actress and I was like 'I have to go tell her how much she means to me'. "So I dance on over and she goes, 'Can you stop f****** flirting with my fiance?' And I was like, 'Who's your fiancé?' And she points to the guy that I waved at and I still have no idea who this man is." Sophie shockingly revealed: "Turns out, they broke their engagement off that night because of my [wave]. I didn't realise I held this power." Earlier this week, Sophie issued a savage response after she was mum-shamed over her kids. She shares daughters, Willa, four, and Delphine, two, with her ex-husband, Joe Jonas. Sophie, who is reportedly back with her on/off boyfriend, aristocrat, Peregrine Pearson, co-parents her kids with Joe, who lives in LA. However, she was accused of 'forgetting' about her daughters by a troll online. Sharing a photo of herself at Oasis' gig in London, the Sansa Stark star wrote: "Bucket hats and beers. That'll do me. Thank you @Levis." Responding to Sophie, one of her followers said: "Lmfao I think she has forgotten that she has two kids." Yet, Sophie shot back: "Ah, I'm so sorry, sometimes, I forget some people can't think for themselves. So, get this... There's this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day." Sophie was married to Joe from 2019 to 2023 before the singer filed for divorce in September 2023, which kick-started a lengthy and messy custody battle.

Sophie Turner has recalled the time when an innocent gesture apparently resulted in an A-list Hollywood couple calling off their engagement. The Game of Thrones star, 29, rose to fame on the American fantasy series, playing series heroine Sansa Stark throughout all eight seasons between 2011 and 2019. Between 2019 and 2024, she was married to Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers – with which she shares two children – and has rubbed shoulders with the top brass in Hollywood for some time now. But rubbing shoulders apparently isn't all Sophie did – she now claims to have broken up a high-profile couple, if her latest confession on Late Night with Seth Meyers is to be believed. The Northampton-born actress appeared on the late night talk show to promote her brand new movie The Dreadful, which she stars in alongside fellow Game of Thrones alum Kit Harington. During their conversation, Sophie and Seth both reflected on the first time they met each other, which was at the San Diego Comic Con afterparty in 2014. 'She saw an actor she absolutely loved and [she asked me] if I could just say hello [on her behalf],' Sophie explained, also revealing that she'd never seen this actor before in her life and that she didn't recognise him. I had to go and tell [this actress] how much she means to me.' But when Sophie walked over, that's when things turned bad. 'I danced over and this actress said, 'Can you stop flirting with my fiancé?' So I ask who her fiancé was, and she pointed at the guy I'd waved at. I have no idea who this man is, but it turns out they broke their engagement off that night.' She laughed: '[Apparently] because of my wave. I didn't realise I held this power. [I said to my school friend] 'Look what you did!' It's not clear who the couple was, but since Sophie's story went out several online sleuths have been aiming to piece together the clues and uncover the true story.
