Lisa Ann Walter says she's ready for a 'Parent Trap' reboot under one condition
Speaking at an Abbott Elementary event in Los Angeles, Walter shared what would convince her to revisit the fan-favourite role. 'One-hundred percent if Nancy Meyers wrote it,' she said, referring to the director and co-writer of the 1998 Disney remake.
Walter also insisted any reboot should include Lindsay Lohan and Dennis Quaid, and thoughtfully honour the absence of Natasha Richardson, who portrayed the twins' mother. 'Dennis has said that he doesn't think it's doable without Natasha, and I understand that,' she explained. 'If it was written beautifully, maybe it's doable.'
The actress remains close with co-star Elaine Hendrix and occasionally hears from Lohan via Instagram. She even kept in touch with Quaid during the pandemic, delivering meals to his home.
Walter added that although her own kids weren't obsessed with The Parent Trap, they've had their own experiences with its legacy. 'All of my boys have said that girls have dated them specifically because Chessy is their mum,' she joked.
Reflecting on the film's lasting impact, Walter said, 'People still dress up as the characters to this day.' She believes a new version, if made with care, would resonate with longtime fans.

Louis Tomlinson and Zara McDermott share a 'couple' of Glastonbury snaps, make it Instagram official
Zara McDermott and Louis Tomlinson have made their relationship Instagram official, five months after first being linked earlier this year. The former Love Island star and the One Direction member, who were first spotted together in March, shared a sweet moment during their visit to Worthy Farm for the Glastonbury Festival this weekend. On Tuesday, Louis shared a collection of photos from their festival weekend, including a group shot where he cozied up to Zara, who was wearing a white crop top. The couple, both donning sunglasses, attempted to go incognito while enjoying the event, with Louis sporting a 'Hopeless Romantic' T-shirt. He captioned the post simply with 'Glasto 25,' while Zara expressed her joy, calling it the 'Best weekend ever.' Their relationship has clearly gone from strength to strength, with Zara gaining the approval of Louis' family during the festival. Zara was seen cuddling with Louis' sister, Lottie, in a warm display of camaraderie. Lottie, who had been enjoying the festival with her brother, his girlfriend, and her fiancé Lewis Burton, shared a series of photos from the event on her own Instagram. Fans were quick to comment on the growing bond between Zara and Lottie, with many excited about their apparent friendship. Since becoming an item, the couple has traveled extensively, holidaying in Costa Rica and Los Angeles. Louis and Zara's relationship appears to be going strong, with the two regularly sharing glimpses of their life together. Earlier this year, Zara and her ex, Sam Thompson, parted ways after five years, with their breakup garnering significant media attention. Zara has since moved on with Louis, and while their romance has drawn public scrutiny, she has remained focused on her work and relationships. Recently, Zara addressed her frustrations over the drama surrounding her love life, stating that she now values real relationships over the 'glitz and glamour' of social media. Their recent public displays of affection at Glastonbury seem to signal that Zara and Louis are stronger than ever, with their romance receiving plenty of attention from fans.

In the trailer, Siriano, a former season 4 winner, joins Klum to welcome contestants: 'Now that's an entrance,' he declares. Season 21 ups the ante with intense design challenges, occasional tears, and sharp critiques. One contestant even earns a playful rebuke when Siriano labels a creation 'a grandma skirt.' And tensions flare when Law Roach famously says, 'I hated it,' prompting Klum to quip, 'Hate is such a big word' to which he dryly responds, 'It's short. Only four letters.' Celebrity guest judges elevate the heat with appearances by Sofia Vergara, Nikki Glaser, Tyra Banks, Michael Kors, Zac Posen, and Abbott Elementary stars Chris Perfetti and Lisa Ann Walter.
