WARNING: This article contains spoilers from The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3

The Summer I Turned Pretty (TSITP) season three is in full swing now after it made its return earlier this month to Prime Video.

The YA series is going to be the last one but there's lot of story still to get through before the final curtains and the longest one with another great soundtrack.

This week's episode was titled Last Stand saw more friction between Belly (played by Lola Tung) and Laurel (Jackie Chung) after her mother refused to go wedding dress shopping with her and the marriage ceremony itself.
She was living with her mother in Philadelphia after Laurel took her home following Belly and Jeremiah's bombshell engagement announcement last week.
Although Belly was struggling to get people on board for the wedding, it looked like Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) was making some progress after both Steven (Sean Kaufman) and Conrad (Christopher Briney) agreed to be his best man.

Fans are now keen to know when they can catch the next episode of TSITP.
When is The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3, episode 5 released?
Episode five of The Summer I Turned Pretty will be released on Prime Video on Wednesday, August 6.

The episode drops on Prime Video at 12am Pacific Standard Time on Wednesdays, which is 3am Eastern Standard Time and 8am British Summer Time in the UK.
The first two episodes of season three were dropped as a double bill, before the rest of the series airing on a weekly basis.
Season three has a total of 11 episodes, making it the longest season of TSITP to date.

The super-sized season is adapted from the final book in Jenny Han's trilogy: We'll Always Have Summer (2011).
Fans will find out once and for all who Belly chose between Jeremiah and Conrad as she prepares for her upcoming nuptials.

Stars Kaufman and Taylor Jewel actress Rain Spencer reflected on their journeys from the first two seasons and coming into the last outing.
Actress Spencer said: 'It's been such a beautiful journey. I feel like I've really grown with Taylor and just with everyone. We started in 2021. It's been years.

'I'm a different person now and it's been completely life-changing and wonderful to grow with Taylor. It's been an enormous part of my life and I'm so grateful.'
While Kaufman said: 'Being with Steven for this many years and so many seasons has just felt so fulfilling. I have never had an experience like this before, where I've been with a character for so long.

'Not only that, but being with a character through so much physical time and physical growth. I think that being with any character for years, there's inherently going to be a little bit of Steven in me and a bit of me in Steven and that is undeniable. You can't change that.
'I think it's also wonderful to be able to craft an arc. I love to look back at season one and look at where Steven started and where he's at by the end of season three and see that beautiful arc come in, it just really is fulfilling.'
Sharing what fans could expect from the final outing, lead Tung said there would be 'heartbreak' but also 'a lot of fun moments'.
Tung added there would be some 'juicy' bits as well as a 'jump in time' as the characters all grew up.
Co-showrunner and creator Han said: 'Great music and there's songs I've been wanting to save for this final season. There's artists we're getting to feature for the first time. I think that's hopefully going to be very exciting for the fans.'

Wednesday to Hunting the Yorkshire Ripper: the seven best shows to stream this week

It's a new term at Nevermore, and for the first time in her life, Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) is dying to go back to school. After all, she's a minor celebrity now and dealing with autograph hunters ('I only ever sign my name in blood. I never said it was my own blood'). However, things are about to get much worse for Wednesday. Like every kid, she dreads the arrival of her family at school, but not only are her parents around more – her troublesome brother Pugsley and formidable grandmother Hester also soon become fixtures. Once again, it's stylish, smart and witty. However you feel about Tim Burton, it's hard to argue that his maximalist gothic style isn't absolutely perfect for this material. Netflix, from Wednesday 6 August The crimes of Peter Sutcliffe (and the flawed police investigation) have proved irresistible to documentary-makers, with the BBC and Netflix recently offering up versions of events. In truth, this latest series doesn't add much to our understanding of Sutcliffe's crimes, though it does broaden to examine the infamous 'Wearside Jack' tape that was sent to police by a man claiming to be the killer. Former DCS Chris Gregg – who assembled a team to catch the hoaxer – is interviewed about his career-long involvement with the case. Prime Video, from Sunday 3 August As represented in TV dramas, cold cases are often glamorous and mysterious. This documentary series shows the reality is sadder, if frequently no less intriguing. It focuses on the work of the DNA Doe Project, a US organisation that, in partnership with law enforcement agencies, uses detective work and genetic investigation to offer the relatives of some of the estimated 50,000 unidentified bodies lying in American morgues a measure of closure. It's a necessarily melancholy affair but also somewhat stirring in its depiction of tireless, valuable service. Disney+, from Wednesday 6 August A third series for this accomplished animation that follows the exploits of the Prouds, an upwardly mobile African American family who mix cartoonish hijinks with strong, slightly earnest moral messaging about identity and hot-button social justice issues. Trudy is worried about screentime and it isn't just her kids who can't put down their phones – her husband Oscar is hardly setting a good example. Cue a decision to live more consciously and to take a family holiday to London, Paris and Nairobi that becomes life-changing for everyone involved. Apple TV+, from Wednesday 6 August Sign up to What's On Get the best TV reviews, news and features in your inbox every Monday after newsletter promotion The chemistry between Seth Rogen's Will and Rose Byrne's Sylvia continues to underwrite this profound comedy. The series doesn't just tell us that deep, platonic friendships between men and women are possible – it shows us. It's hard to avoid the feeling that Will and Sylvia have more fun together than with anyone else. And that's the whole point: shouldn't that be enough? As we return, Will is preparing to marry Jenna but admits to Sylvia that he has a crush on someone else. The fear that it might turn out to be Sylvia herself soon passes but, even so, is this another symptom of Will's inability to commit to adult life? Apple TV+, from Wednesday 6 August Most people would probably agree that the absence of a gameshow for cats and their owners is a glaring omission from the TV schedules. So thank goodness, finally, for House of Cats, a three-parter of snappy episodes which is hosted by comic Ivo Graham and social media personality, and qualified veterinary surgeon, Cat the Vet. Fittingly, there's no hint of a cash prize here; instead the winning partnership will take home a golden litter tray. Given that cats are notoriously much harder to organise than dogs, they will have certainly earned it. Channel 4, from Thursday 7 August From Walter Presents, this daft but moderately creepy mystery drama from France stars Fantine Harduin as the titular teenager. When Promethea is hit by a car, she eventually wakes from a coma with no recollection of anything but her unusual name. Gradually, her memory starts to return but that proves to be a mixed blessing as a series of disturbing revelations about an unsolved recent murder start to spill out. At first, it seems that Promethea might have witnessed this killing – but could her involvement have been even more hands-on? Channel 4, from Friday 8 August

Absolutely Everything We Know About Kirsten Connolly, Aka Lucinda In The Summer I Turned Pretty

We're all hooked on The Summer I Turned Pretty. After two years of waiting, the third instalment of the series has landed on Amazon Prime, and it's delivering all the teen, rom com vibes we could ever want. Season three takes place almost four years after the events of season 2 - meaning our fave characters are all grown up. It follows Belly, played by Lola Tung, who is in a long-term relationship with Jeremiah, played by Gavin Casalegno. Their feelings for each other are thrown into question by the arrival of her ex Conrad, played by Christopher Briney. But alongside familiar faces, we've also met some new characters for season three. One of these is Lucinda Jewel, a single-mum to Taylor, with the two sharing a tight bond in the show. Lucinda is portrayed on screen Kristen Connolly - but where might have you seen her before? Kristen Connolly is an American actress who was born and raised in Montclair, New Jersey. She began her career with recurring roles on digital shorts for CollegeHumour, and was an extra on the films Mona Lisa Smile, Meet Dave, and The Happening. She appeared on two CBS daytime soap operas, Guiding Light and As the World Turns, before taking on bigger screen roles. Kristen has been married to Stephen O'Reilly since 2023, and the couple have two children together. Kristen Connolly was born on 12th July 1980, making her 45-years-old. You might recognise Kristen Connolly from her role as Dana in the 2011 film The Cabin in the Woods, a role which shot her into the mainstream. She also starred in the horror film The Bay. Her TV roles include starring in the Netflix series House of Cards as Christina Gallagher, and as Jamie Campbell in the CBS series Zoo. She also starred in the HBO movie about disgraced financier Bernie Madoff, The Wizard of Lies, alongside Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro. In a 2019 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Connolly addressed starring in horror films. 'I enjoy scary movies, but I wouldn't say I'm an avid fan. I love both shows for different reasons, but it wasn't a deliberate decision,' she told the outlet. 'As an actor just starting out, I just want to work on projects that are, hopefully, good. I had no idea it would happen, so I'm like, 'Huh. I keep landing in these things! What's up ?' And The Cabin in the Woods was so much fun. That was really my first big job, and it was so challenging, and I still am dumbfounded [by it]. I smile every time I think about it.' Yes! Peaky Blinders creator says Ozzy Osbourne's music is ‘the Birmingham soundtrack'

The 65-year-old, who grew up in the Birmingham area and whose BBC crime drama is set in the city, told the PA news agency that the procession, which saw Osbourne's family travel through Birmingham with his hearse, saw an 'outpouring of love' for the singer and the city from fans who gathered on the route. Knight told PA: 'He and Tony Iommi, and Geezer (Butler), and all of those people, I don't know whether people know that they're from a pretty tough part of town and they had quite tough lives, and they just sort of decided to do this thing, to make this music. 'The music, it's so Birmingham because they were working in factories, and that work was very, very noisy, I worked occasionally in factories, and there is always a rhythm. 'There's always a dominant machine, it's like, 'bang, bang, bang', and they just turn that into music, and that's why I think it is the Birmingham soundtrack, heavy metal, and then people underestimate how popular metal is all over the world, so it's incredible.' The hearse carrying the body of Ozzy Osbourne was paraded through Birmingham on Wednesday (Joe Giddens/PA) The procession saw Osbourne's widow Sharon, son Jack and daughters Aimee and Kelly stop at the Black Sabbath bench in the city to inspect tributes, with thousands of fans lining the route around Birmingham. Knight's latest project is Built In Birmingham: Brady And The Blues, a new Prime Video series he has worked as executive producer on which focuses on Birmingham City, the football team he supports, and their takeover by American footballer Tom Brady and US businessman Tom Wagner. In the series' first episode, Knight remarks that people from Birmingham 'don't like to shout about' their city. He explains: 'I think amongst Brummies, there's this thing of, 'don't get too big for your boots', and so anybody who starts shouting out about Birmingham will get that reaction, or previously would have got that reaction. 'But I do feel, really do sense the change in the city, and in the population of the city, the people are actually saying, 'well, it's our turn', and it really is.' Knight is best known for his Peaky Blinders series, which follows Tommy Shelby and his Birmingham gang of the series' name, and has covered topics such as the rise of fascism, Irish republican politics and communist activities through the period following the First World War across its six series. The producer was also one of the creators of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and the sole creator of SAS: Rogue Heroes. He is also making a movie in conjunction with Oasis's Live 25 reunion tour. The Built In Birmingham: Brady And The Blues series will launch worldwide on Prime Video on Friday.
