Host of 'best show on YouTube' in talks for standalone series with streaming giant
Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg is reportedly in talks to lead a standalone Apple TV series.
The 31-year-old comedian shot to fame with her hit YouTube show 10 years ago, and has since interviewed A-listers including Idris Elba, Ben Stiller, Sabrina Carpenter and Andrew Garfield.
Amelia has amassed 3.17 million subscribers on YouTube with the web series, which fans claim is "the best show on YouTube." It simply features stripped-back celebrity interviews conducted in Morley's chicken shops across London. And it appears Apple TV wants a slice of Amelia's viewership.
A source revealed to The Sun's TV column: "Apple knows it will have a ready-made audience for her show, which is expected to drop on the streamer later this year or early 2026.
"Amelia also has a long list of famous fans who've been clamouring to get interviewed by her.
"It's not clear yet exactly what format any new Apple show would take, but it's guaranteed to continue in a similar vein to her previous work which sees her casually and naturally meeting with some of the world's most famous people."
The insider added: "It was only a matter of time before one of the streamers came along and harnessed her huge social media influence."
The YouTuber's Chicken Shop Date with Andrew Garfield generated significant social media buzz, earning a staggering 11 million views. Fans were struck by the pair's chemistry and flirtatious banter, leading to speculation that they were dating.
However, Amelia later clarified they are just friends.
The social media star's fame has far exceeded YouTube, as she is often seen interviewing movie stars on red carpets, including the Golden Globe Awards and the Oscars.
Amelia has also appeared on Channel 4's Taskmaster's New Year's Treat, alongside Carol Vorderman, Greg James and Sir Mo Farah.
She has also taken part in Celebrity Come Dine With Me and The Great Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off, where she put her baking skills to the test against presenter Sarah Beeny, actress Maxine Peake and that week's Star Baker, Roman Kemp.
The London-born comic has also gone TikTok viral with an interview featuring Chelsea star Cole Palmer.

Saturday Kitchen star addresses absence as they make BBC return
On the latest instalment of BBC's Saturday Kitchen, host Matt Tebbutt was quick to welcome back his co-star. Saturday Kitchen host Matt Tebbutt was thrilled to welcome back a much-loved figure on the BBC show. During the most recent instalment, the presenter wasted no time in addressing the absence of wine expert Olly Smith. As Charlie Stayt and Naga Munchetty handed over to Matt during BBC Breakfast to discover what was happening in his show, the 51-year-old turned his attention to his colleague. Matt commented: "He's back! Olly Smith, where have you been all my life?!" Olly replied: "Oh well, all your life! Well, over the last few weeks, I've had a triple threat of writing, going to weddings, and festivals." The Saturday Kitchen host questioned whether or not the nuptials were fun to attend. He added: "They were actually to be fair, I was going to be mean, but no, they were really lovely. I mean, who doesn't love to celebrate love?" Usually, BBC viewers are used to seeing Olly alternate on Saturday Kitchen with fellow wine expert Helen McGinn. Over the past few weeks, Helen has been holding down the fort, with Olly's last appearance on the show before taking a brief break being June 14. Currently, there's speculation that Saturday Kitchen's Matt Tebbutt could be the new face of MasterChef, following the axing of John Torode and Gregg Wallace. A source told The Sun: "Matt is seen as a really safe pair of hands by the BBC. He has been in the frame for some time and is now being lined up for MasterChef. The BBC are keen to bring Andi Oliver on board too. She has been so popular as host of the Great British Menu." They further added: "They're not sure if she can commit at this stage because of her schedule with that show, but everyone is hoping they can get her on board. Everyone loves Andi, and she would be perfect for the role in many ways. "She is very talented on her own merit, but she would also help bring a more diverse look to the show, which is much needed. The last thing the show wants is to be slapped with being 'pale, and stale' by a new generation of food lovers." The presenting change comes as former hosts John and Gregg were both axed by the BBC after an investigation upheld allegations about them both in regards to "inappropriate behaviour".

Now, the star has admitted that although she wanted to have another baby, she wasn't expecting to get pregnant so quickly. She told The Sun: "I was trying. It was my first attempt at, I guess, getting pregnant, like actively trying. "And so I knew that there was a chance, but I've probably kept Clear Blue in business. "If you saw my Amazon orders, I was ordering test after test after test. It was actually ridiculous. So, yeah, I knew that there was a chance. "But I really didn't expect it to happen on the first try. Like, I'm very lucky in that sense." The star admitted that she used to continuously take tests, but it was still a shock when she saw that positive line. "I was testing, testing and testing, and it was coming back negative because I was so early," Shaughna revealed. "Then it got to the point where, because I was testing so much, I would do one and not even think twice about it because I was doing them about seven times a day." The TV personality continued: "And so I did one, first thing in the morning, and I left it in the toilets for about half an hour. The star admitted she was stunned by the news, but she conducted yet another test to make sure the news was definite. "But I just really didn't expect it'd be the first try. So, it was a shock. It was still a shock, even though I was trying," she added. "The next day I did another and I thought right, I'm going to film this, and it came up with a stronger line, and even then I was still in shock. Shaughna is already a mum to two-year-old daughter Lucia, whom she shares with her jailbird boyfriend Billy Webb. We also asked the star if she knows the gender of her baby, ahead of the forthcoming arrival in November after her partner was jailed in 2023 on drugs charges. She told The Sun: "Yes. So I do know the gender. I didn't find out with Lucia, and so I wanted to find out this time. I just really didn't expect it'd be the first try. So, it was a shock. It was still a shock, even though I was trying Shaughna Phillips "I wanted to be able to tell her, like, you're going to have a brother or you're going to have a sister." 5 The star admitted that she kept on purchasing tests over the internet Credit: Instagram 5 Shaughna is already a mum to two-year-old daughter Lucia Credit: Instagram

Four in a Bed's narrator revealed after 10 years and his very famous wife
It turns out the iconic voice behind Channel 4's Four In A Bed is a rather famous face Four in a Bed is a staple on screens, but who is the narrator of the beloved Channel 4 series? The long-running show premiered way back in 2010, and sees B&B owners visit other's establishments and rate them in a bid to be crowned the 'best B&B'. On the programme, the competitive hoteliers are judged on an array of different things, including the room, cleanliness, food and even the hosts themselves. And at the end of the week, it's revealed how much all four B&B owners think their competition's offering is really worth. The prices are then revealed, usually with dramatic results, before a winner is announced. Since its debut 15 years ago, Four in a Bed has become a hit with viewers thanks to the tense and rather awkward fallouts that happen on-screen. But there is one person in particular who is likely to be integral to its success: the show's long-running narrator. The voice adding colour and detail to Four in a Bed is none other than Duncan Wisbey. The actor and voice artist took on the role of the show's narrator in 2015 and has been at the helm since. Before him, the show was narrated by Mike Adams from 2010 to 2015. Duncan himself has been in the business for years, and has appeared on several CBeebies shows and also BBC soap EastEnders, playing a Celebrant in 2015. He's starred in a Hollywood film too, called Wrong Turn 5: Bloodlines, the fifth instalment in the horror franchise. And in 2022, he played Martin on the Netflix comedy Hard Cell, created by and starring Catherine Tate. Away from the TV shows, Duncan is married to actress Rae Baker, and the couple are parents to one child, Hattie born in 2011. Rae is best known for playing Detective Constable Juliet Becker in the long-running ITV drama The Bill. After Rae's exit from The Bill, she went on to appear on BBC's soap Doctors, playing Caroline Garvey. She's also had stints on kids spy drama M.I High and Father Brown.
