Jaxson Dart's Request at Giants Practice is Turning Heads
The New York Giants came out of the 2025 NFL Draft acquiring a lot of impressive fresh talent, selecting a total of seven players, with Mel Kiper Jr. of ESPN grading the haul as an A-.
There's no doubt their biggest additions come in the form of Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter, with the No. 3 pick, and Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart, whom they traded up to get at No. 25.

Now, the Giants get the opportunity to see all of their rookies in action for the first time at a mini-camp, which started on Friday and will run through Sunday.
That also means these players get to talk to the media, and before answering any questions on Friday, Dart asked that each reporter introduce themself so he can "put a face to the name."
The request has caught the attention of several Giants fans on social media, who are now praising the young quarterback for his gesture.
"Set the tone for mutual respect right away. That's a power move," said one comment.
"A breath of fresh air #NYGiants," said another.

"I respect Jaxson Dart doing this. He's getting to know us as media. It fits with him telling us after the draft he cares about getting to know his teammates on both sides of the ball," a third added.
A fourth stated, 'They got a good one."
"I like how Dart's commanding the room here. He's going to a leader and future captain for the #NYGiants I know that much," a fifth continued.
"We got a leader!!" said another.

Of course, there's hope that Dart can blossom into a true franchise quarterback, which is something the Giants have lacked since Eli Manning, who spent 16 years with the team (2004 to 2019) and helped with two Super Bowls.
