Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham 'tease Fleetwood Mac reunion' with posts
The Landslide hitmakers have had a turbulent personal and professional relationship over the years, with the band's chart-topping studio album Rumours written at the time of their breakup in the 70s.
The musical duo last performed on stage together in January 2018, with reports of a significant disagreement between the pair over their working schedule sealing the deal on their professional breakup.
After bandmate Christine McVie's death in November 2022, the band seemed pretty set on never reuniting on stage, with Stevie focusing on her successful solo career.
In a pair of posts made to Instagram earlier today the lead singer, 77, and former guitarist, 75, seemed to imply the almost decade-long rupture might finally be at an end.
On Stevie's account she posted the lyrics from 1973 hit Frozen Love: 'And if you go forward' which comes from Buckingham Nicks' only album.
Then, Lindsey completed the line with his own post reading: 'I'll meet you there'.
There's no denying the two posts are linked in style, theme and timing – leading fans to the conclusion that a longawaited reunion could finally be happening.
And everyone is spiralling.
'Glad I was already planning on crashing out today!' yogimagee wrote on Instagram.
'IM GOING TO THROW UP WHATS HAPPENING,' maddieshonholtz added.
'WHAT DOES THIS MEAN' stevienicksnation echoed.
Some are sepculating it could mean just a Buckingham Nicks reunion while others think the whole gang could be getting back together.
Regardless, everyone wants to see Lindsey and Stevie singing the 1977 tune Silver Springs together live on stage after it recently went viral on TikTok in a trend recounting the pair's heartwrenching romance.
'Forget FM for a minute, just give us a Buckingham Nicks tour please,' andymacphee comics declared.
'Fleetwood Mac reunion in 2025?? A girl can dream,' ahs_adn shared.
'Tell us what's happening before I completely crash out please and thank you,' mejennamarie declared.
'It feels amazing to be alive to witness the stars align like this, It was written,' drimaued shared.
Whatever this is, a Fleetwood Mac reunion does still seem unlikely.
In June 2024, Stevie told Mojo magazine: 'Without Christine, no can do… There is no chance of putting Fleetwood Mac back together in any way. Without her, it just couldn't work.' More Trending
This doesn't rule out an onstage reunion between just these two or remastering of their record , however. Or it could just be their way of telling their fans that the hatchet has finally been buried – time will tell.
In an interview with Rolling Stone in October 2024 she said about Lindsey: 'I dealt with Lindsey for as long as I could. You could not say that I did not give him more than 300 million chances.'
Meanwhile, last year bandmate Mick Fleetwood added: 'Stevie's able to speak clearly about how she feels and doesn't feel, as does Lindsey. But I'll say, personally, I would love to see a healing between them.'
Maybe his wish has finally come true.

Fox Business star Taylor Riggs gives BIRTH in the back of a Lyft after getting stuck in traffic
Fox Business star Taylor Riggs gave birth to her second child in the back of a Lyft three days ago after getting stuck in New York City traffic. The 39-year-old Big Money Show presenter and husband Bryan Kolterman welcomed their daughter, Louisa Adeline, on July 18 in the back of a taxi and just a few blocks away from the hospital. The unconventional birth came after the parents 'underestimated' how quickly their new bundle of joy would arrive – as well as the Manhattan traffic. Before Louisa's arrival, Taylor labored for a couple of hours in her apartment before she and her doula decided they should call a car. 'There was a moment when my doula and I looked at each other and said, "I think we need to go to the hospital," but I underestimated how fast my girl would come and how much New York City traffic we would face,' she said. 'We were a few blocks away from the hospital, stuck in traffic, trying to dodge potholes, and my baby girl was born. 'I am so grateful for my doula, Tymaree, who delivered my baby in the backseat and helped make sure Louisa was safe, breathing, and warm until we arrived.' Speaking to People, Taylor said she was also grateful to her husband who 'remained calm while calling the hospital ahead of time.' Bryan called the emergency room 'to tell them we were coming in very hot' and once they had finally arrived, he ran through the front doors to tell staff, "My wife just gave birth in a car. The baby is in the car."' According to the mom-of-two, the hospital staff came running out to help. A nurse then cut the umbilical cord in the backseat of the car, before taking in Taylor and the little girl into the hospital on a stretcher. Taylor of course also thanked her Lyft driver, who 'was very calm under pressure.' She also credited him with trying to get them to the hospital as quickly as he could. Social media users have already expressed shock over Taylor's dramatic birth story. Taking to Instagram, one said: 'Oh my GOSH! That's amazing! Congrats!' Another wrote: 'In the back of a car! Oh my goodness, what a story, congrats Taylor.' 'I underestimated how fast my girl would come and how much New York City traffic we would face,' Taylor revealed 'Louisa - what an iconic NYC baby,' said a third. 'We love you already! Taylor and Bryan are also parents to daughter Rodell, whom they welcomed in September 2023. 'We think my older daughter Rodell is really excited!' Taylor added to People. 'To prepare for this moment, we've been reading her lots of books about what it means to be a big sister, how she can help us, and what she can do to play with her little sister. 'We want Rodell to feel special during this time too, so on maternity leave, I'm committed to doing something alone with her once a week, so she and I can maintain our bond.'

The reaction to Ulrika Jonsson's face has made me terrified of ageing
'She needs to lay off the sunbeds'. 'Madge from Benidorm'. '100-year-old neck of a giraffe'. Just three of the comments on Instagram referencing TV presenter and model Ulrika Jonsson's appearance after her latest podcast appearance, where, among other things, she opened up about her trauma and addiction battles. When a woman does this, I see nothing but bravery and strength. But the rest of the world? Well, apparently, what she looks like is far more important. As a result, I've grown terrified of ageing in today's society. Last week, Ulrika, 57, went on Spencer Matthews' Untapped podcast. She spoke frankly about the challenges she faced in giving up drinking, as well as choosing a life of wellness to be present for both herself and her children. It was an empowering listen. The social media comments, however, were flooded with jibes about her skin, speculating about her age with a mocking tone, and demanding to know 'what happened' to her. Consequently, Ulrika felt compelled to hit back, explaining to her followers that she went makeup-free for the record; hence, her complexion looks different. She also proudly declared that, as she progresses into her late fifties, she 'will never look like the fresh 21yr old [sic] that used to greet you first thing in the morning by the weather board'. Ulrika's clapback was perfect, as she stressed that, yes, her appearance is going to change as she ages, and it would be both naïve and foolish to believe otherwise – but the fact that she felt a need to address it at all proves we have a problem. We live in an era of 'Botox in a bottle' and the invention of new cosmetic procedures every other week. It's impossible to open TikTok without a twenty-something influencer trying to flog a ridiculous skincare device to you or urging you to try an anti-ageing hack with zero scientific backing. Gone are the days of allowing yourself to grow old without injectables or surgery. If you're not panicking about the prospect of going grey or doing what you can to prevent wrinkles, even before you've hit 30, the world wants to know why. As a result, everyone has seemingly forgotten what a normal, ageing face looks like and greets it with horror and disgust each time they're reminded that – if it weren't for fillers, laser treatments, lifts, and tucks – it's completely plausible for them to look like that, too. I'm not judging. I fully support doing what you want with your appearance. I also have a lot of grace for the women, in particular, who are condemning other women for looking older. We live in a deeply misogynistic society where every one of us has been violently chewed up and spat back out by diet culture and unrealistic, unattainable beauty standards. But we need to break this cycle. Because I'm left scared of how I'm going to be treated or talked about if I don't go down the route of tweakments and filtering my pictures as I age. Already, I feel societal pressure to prepare my skin for the future. I wear a daily SPF (which, to be honest, is recommended for protecting against skin cancer) in the hopes that it may also prevent wrinkles. I think I love my daily skincare routine, but I'd be lying if I said I did it wholly for fun. I know that even when it feels like a chore, I press on because I think it's essential for maintaining a youthful appearance for as long as I can. But I don't want to fear getting older. I don't want to feel as though I have an expiry date as a woman and that my value and importance decrease with each passing day. As someone who has fought an eating disorder for 15 years now, as well as almost paralysing bouts of depression and anxiety, I view ageing as a privilege. It is such a blessing to grow older when not everyone gets that chance, and, after once being adamant that I wouldn't survive past high school, each day I live now is a gift. Alas, the rest of the world feels differently and is determined to push back their biological clocks as much as possible, making it all the more agonising to merely exist as someone who has higher priorities than fearing developing frown lines or thinning hair. As women, there are already countless factors working against us – whether that be pay disparity, gender-based violence, slut shaming, or medical negligence. Please, let's stop making life even harder by trying to prevent the inevitable. Ulrika Jonsson is far from the first woman to fall victim to age-shaming, and she certainly won't be the last. Even Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson, 58, isn't safe from backlash when she rocks up to a red carpet without makeup. What's more, glam country music queen Dolly Parton, 79, felt the need to warn Sabrina Carpenter, 26, when they collaborated recently, laughing as she told her in a now-viral clip: 'You'll be this old one day!' Sabrina's response had me tearful, as it represented everything we need to be telling each other: 'I know, I can't wait. I hope I look like you!' There's no age limit on beauty. It both breaks my heart and angers me that older women have been made to feel any different. Now, we need to use Ulrika as a springboard. Allow her words to generate just one conversation about stamping out the narrative that a woman must remain bright-eyed and baby-faced and defy the laws of biology long into her adult life, and how insane that notion is. Let Ulrika's defiant stance towards age-shaming trolls be the antidote to the youth-obsessed influencers. More Trending She's not perfect; no one is suggesting that. As a self-proclaimed sun worshipper, there's no doubt this will have caused premature signs of ageing and avoidable damage to her complexion. But regardless of how often she likes to sunbathe, she shouldn't be slated for looking like a normal 57-year-old woman. Everyone, including me, has become so terrified of ageing that they're no longer enjoying being young. And that's no way to live. Do you have a story you'd like to share? Coronation Street's Farrel Hegarty left in floods of tears at airport over huge fear
Coronation Street actress Farrel Hegarty revealed her secret fear of flying whilst preparing to board a flight home to the UK after a trip to Australia. A Coronation Street star was left in tears at an airport as she revealed her secret fear of flying. Farrel Hegarty, 37, started playing the role of Lou Michaelis on ITV's flagship soap earlier this year, but jetted off to Australia when it was announced that she was to depart the show after just a matter of months. The actress has been keeping her followers on social media up to date with her trip down under to see friends, but appeared distressed as she geared up to board her long flight home. Speaking to her followers on her Instagram story, she said: "I hate saying goodbye, I hate airports and I hate flying. It's a three for three. I don't know what's wrong with me. I used to be fine flying, and now I am an absolute wiener. I can't do it! Turbulence makes me feel like I'm on the Nemesis [at Alton Towers]. "I'm gonna get an ice cream, I don't even care, I don't even care. I'm on a four-week shred before Ibiza. I will worry about the consequences later because I am sad!" Once she had obtained her sweet treat, Farrel said through tears: "I am eating my emotions", before letting out a quick giggle. Farrel's woes didn't end there as she made her way to the plane, and she lamented that she "didn't even get a free upgrade", but she was thrilled to discover that she had the whole row to herself once she had taken her seat on the aircraft. She joked: "Look. Two spare seats. Not one, but two. Someone is looking out for me, someone is looking out for me. Someone is looking out for me. It does smell a little bit like sick, it smells a little sick but I am just going to ignore it!" When the Corrie audition came, she was about to leave her home in London to move Down Under and live with her girlfriend of 18 months. She said: 'I was about to move to Australia to move in with my partner and the audition came up. Either way, my life was about to go in a different direction, as I knew I'd either be going to Australia or joining Coronation Street. 'I knew if I got the role, then it was my time. Having a long-distance relationship is definitely not for the faint-hearted but my partner was never going to be angry that I was going to be in Corrie. She knows how much it meant to me and how tough it has been.' But after just mere months of starring as the hairdresser on-screen - who is now behind bars for beating Gary Windass (Mikey North) over the head amid a failed blackmail attempt - she vaguely discussed the exit for the first time to The Mirror and other press. She teased what was ahead, while also confirming the fact that she did know from the start she would be leaving after a matter of months, with an exit always on the cards despite some reports. She explained of why she took on the short-term role, knowing she would only be there for a specific amount of time: "I just think she really appealed to me because she's the sort of person who's never had it easy. "She's built up a lot of coping mechanisms, where she's presenting a hard and feisty character with her walls up, and all she's ever known is these fiery relationships. And probably fiery relationships with a lot of people in her life, which is what makes a character like that so interesting. "Because she's a force and irrational. I read scripts and I go, 'Oh God! What's she doing now? What's she saying now?' Because it's not a way that I would behave, and because of that, it's so much fun to play. It's that desperation to protect that inner circle and because of that, she makes a mess of things. But a character like that is so fun to play, because there's never a dull moment." Between roles, she has sometimes taken temporary office jobs. 'It's hard going to auditions, but when you get a part like Lou, it's an incredible feeling.' She then admitted that her dream was now to land a role in a sitcom. Speaking before her trip Down Under, Farrel, who also posts comedy sketches on TikTok, said: 'I enjoy doing silly skits. I will need a holiday by then. It will be great to see my partner too.'
