The next edition of the tournament, which will be co-hosted by Canada, Mexico and the United States, kicks off at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City on June 11.
Soccer's world governing body FIFA said that due to anticipated high demand tickets would be released in phases.
It did not say if it would use dynamic pricing, as was the case for the Club World Cup, which saw ticket prices fluctuate wildly.
'We're looking forward to welcoming the world back to North America, as Canada, Mexico and the United States host what will be the biggest and greatest sporting event ever," FIFA president Gianni Infantino said in a statement. 'We encourage fans everywhere to get ready to secure their place — these will be the most coveted seats in world sport.'

Milan-Cortina Olympic medals unveiled - Omni sports

Organisers of the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics unveiled the medals for the Winter sports spectacular on Tuesday, designed to pay hommage to athletes and the team behind them. "We conceived a medal that represents purity and a return to essence," explained Raffaella Panie, the organising committee's brand director. "We celebrate the strength found in difference: two unique halves that join through the Olympic and Paralympic symbols to deliver a bold and unified message. "This concept is also reflected in the surfaces of the medals, where two textures meet and begin a story written not only by the athletes and Para athletes, but also by those who supported them: coaches, teammates, family members, and fans." Federica Pellegrini, Italy's 200m freestyle swimming champion at the 2008 Beijing Games, was chosen to front the presentation in Venice. The medals, 1,146 for both the Olympics and Paralympics, are 80mm in diameter and 10mm thick, with the gold medals weighing in at 500 grammes. They were designed by the Italian national mint, the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato. The 2026 Games will run from February 6-22, with the Paralympics taking place between March 6-15. At last year's Paris Olympics over 200 medals became discoloured due to oxidisation, with the French mint (Monnaie de Paris) promising to replace them. Rana Atef On Monday, US President Donald Trump claimed that the Club World Cup trophy will remain in the Oval Office. He added that FIFA made a copy of the trophy that was awarded to Chelsea after their win in the tournament's final on Sunday. Trump attended the final along with members of his cabinet and FIFA president, Gianni Infantino. Both jointly presented the trophy to Chelsea captain Reece James, with Trump staying front and center despite the apparent confusion of Chelsea players and the pleading of Infantino. Infantino unveiled the Club World Cup trophy for the first time in an event at the Oval Office in March, and the trophy has stayed there for all subsequent events in the historic space since. 'I said, When are you going to pick up the trophy? [They said] 'We're never going to pick it up. You can have it forever in the Oval Office. We're making a new one,'' Trump said in an interview Dazn on Sunday. 'And they actually made a new one. So that was quite exciting, but it is in the Oval [Office] right now.' read more Japan Stun Spain 2-1 to Qualify for World Cup Last 16 World Cup 2022: Get to Know Confirmed Line-ups of Japan and Spain Group E Decider Saudi Arabia Bid Farewell to World Cup after 2-1 Loss to Mexico Tunisia Achieve Historic Win over France but Fail to Qualify Tunisia to Clash against France in World Cup Sports Get to Know Squad of Group D Teams in World Cup Sports Al Ahly Gift EGP 70,000 to Players After Claiming Egyptian Super Cup Title Sports Bencharki Hits First 2 Goals with Al Jazira Since Leaving Zamalek Sports Arsenal Possible Line-up for Nottingham Forest News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Arts & Culture Hawass Foundation Launches 1st Course to Teach Ancient Egyptian Language Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream Technology 50-Year Soviet Spacecraft 'Kosmos 482' Crashes into Indian Ocean
