Jonas Brothers reunite with Demi Lovato for first 'Camp Rock' duet in a decade
The "Heart Attack" singer joined the trio on stage at the opening concert for the Jonas20 anniversary tour, at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 10.
The Jonas Brothers brought out Lovato, 32, during their hometown concert to perform tracks from their hit 2008 Disney Channel film "Camp Rock," as well as its 2010 sequel. Lovato played Mitchie Torres in the movie, while Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas played Connect 3, a fictional band based on themselves.

The Jonas Brothers are marking the band's 20th anniversary this year with their recently released seventh studio LP, "Greetings from Your Hometown," and a 52-date tour across North America. The tour wraps at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut on Nov. 14.
Lovato recently released her new sultry track "Fast," from her upcoming unnamed dance-pop album.

On Wednesday, Taylor Swift announced the tracklist for her highly anticipated 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, and confirmed that the record's title track will feature Sabrina Carpenter. The following year, Taylor booked Sabrina as the support act for some of her stadium shows, and her career absolutely skyrocketed, with Sab undeniably one of the biggest names in pop music at the moment. During this time, Sabrina and Taylor developed a pretty close friendship, and in 2024, Sabrina even joined Taylor on the Eras stage twice for surprise performances — much to the delight of fans. And now, Sabrina has a feature on Taylor's upcoming album, and if her digital footprint is anything to go by, then she'll be seriously pinching herself over it. You see, Sabrina was incredibly active online throughout her childhood, and made no secret of how much she adored Taylor during this time. For example, in March 2010, when she was just 10 years old, Sabrina tweeted: 'Going to see Taylor tonight!!! i'm so excited : D.' She followed up with: 'The Taylor Swift concert was amazing, had so much fun I cant wait to have a world tour someday like hers! lol with 2 sold out shows!!!!!' And following the 'The Life of a Showgirl' collab announcement, another wholesome social media post has resurfaced online, this time from Sabrina's official Facebook page. The post was also made when Sabrina was 10 years old, in August 2009, and reads: 'was trying to enter a Taylor Swift karaoke contest to win tickets and a chance to meet her but they said I had to be 13 : (' A Taylor fan account shared a screenshot of this post alongside Taylor's new tracklist and simply wrote: '16 years later,' in a tweet that has been seen more than two million times in just over 24 else quote-tweeted this and added: 'the feature being the title track too. sabrina really won at life.''Sab is the final boss when it comes to manifesting and she be WINNING!' another replied, and one more joked: 'I'm so happy for my close friend sabrina carpenter.'Somebody else tweeted: 'sabrina should be annoying asf about this taylor collab cause if EYE got to be on a song with someone ive idolized for well over a decade, i'd never shut up about it.' Interestingly, daily streams for both songs actually increased the following day — 180,000 streams for 'Wouldn't Change a Change' on Tuesday, and 179,000 streams for 'This Is Me' — suggesting that, even after the shock of the Demi/JoBros reunion wore off, listeners still wanted to relive the glory days of Camp Rock. Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros' 'Home': Does Making the 'Worst Song Ever' Yield More Listeners? 'Worst song ever made,' X user Justin Boldaji posted on Aug. 4, with a clip of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros performing their 2010 indie-folk hit 'Home.' The don't-call-it-a-tweet quickly went viral — the embedded 'Home' clip now has over 92 million views — with some users defending the song, others re-litigating the stomp-clap era of folk-rock and several others offering their own suggestion for the 'worst song ever made.' Meanwhile, Edward Sharpe leader Alex Ebert seems to be having fun with the discourse, recently describing the viral moment to Stereogum as 'a good little cathartic moment, and I love the discussion around it.' All of the chatter boosted daily streams for 'Home,' but only slightly. On Aug. 3, the day before Boldaji's post, the song earned 175,000 U.S. on-demand streams, according to Luminate; by the end of the 'Home'-filled week (Aug. 8), that daily streaming total crept above 200,000. A 14% bump is nothing to sneeze at, although, depending on how many 'Home' discussions you've had this month, it's a little short of making you exclaim, 'Well, holy moly, me oh my.' Lecrae x 1K Phew's 'Move' Does Just That, Thanks to Viral Dance Performance In late July, the Brotherhood dance crew emerged victorious at the International Dance League competition with a mesmerizing performance set to Lecrae x 1K Phew's song 'Move.' The crackling track was featured on No Church In a While, the 2021 collaborative project from the Christian rappers — and while 'Move' wasn't a major hit upon its release four years ago, the Brotherhood routine, and the many choreography homages it's inspired on TikTok over the past two weeks, are elevating the track in both artists' respective streaming catalogs. 'Move' earned 23,000 U.S. on-demand streams during the week ending July 24, according to Luminate — but following the IDL performance, that total increased to 47,000 streams the following week (up 104%), and to 104,000 streams the week after that (up 122%). Lecrae himself might have something to do with that latest total — on Aug. 3, he got in on the TikTok fun by dancing to 'Move' himself. Demi Lovato wouldn't change a thing about how her epic reunion with the Jonas Brothers came to be. Two days after Lovato, 32, surprised fans by performing with the band on the opening night of their JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the Disney Channel alum opened up about the experience on the 'Chicks in the Office' podcast on Tuesday, August 12. Lovato told hosts Maria Ciuffo and Francesca Mariano how Joe Jonas, her ex-boyfriend, asked her to appear at the show. 'Honestly, Joe just asked me last week, [he] was like, 'Hey, what are you doing next weekend? Or on the 10th, we would love to have you come and perform 'This Is Me' and 'Wouldn't Change a Thing.'
