Jeremy Renner Details Experiencing Death During Snow Plow Accident "I Didn't Want to Come Back" — GeekTyrant

Marvel actor Jeremy Renner went through a death-defying accident and recovery two years ago that he is just now fully detailing in his recently-published memoir, 'My Next Breath.' In the book, he says he briefly experienced what he believes was death during the 2023 New Year's Day snow plow accident that nearly cost him his life. In a recent follow-up interview on Kelly Ripa's 'Let's Talk Off Camera' podcast, the Oscar nominee described this moment as 'a great relief.' 'It's a wonderful, wonderful relief to be removed from your body,' Renner said. 'It is the most exhilarating peace you could ever feel. You don't see anything but what's in your mind's eye. Like, you're the atoms of who you are, the DNA, your spirit. It's the highest adrenaline rush, but the peace that comes with it… it's magnificent. It's so magical.' 'I didn't want to come back,' Renner continued. 'I remember I was brought back and I was so pissed off. I came back, I'm like, 'Aww!' I came back and saw [my] eyeball and I'm like, 'Oh shit, I'm back.' Saw my legs. I'm like, 'Yeah, that's gonna hurt later.' I'm like, 'All right, let me continue to breathe.'' Renner wrote in his book that he briefly died about 30 minutes after his Sno-Cat, a large snow plow that weighs at least 14,330 pounds, ran him over as he was saving his nephew from injury. Renner ultimately regained consciousness and was hospitalized for blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries. His injuries included eight ribs broken in 14 places, a broken right knee and ankle, a broken left leg tibia and ankle, a broken right clavicle and shoulder and more. 'I could see my lifetime,' he writes in the book. 'I could see everything all at once. In death, there was no time, no time at all, yet it was also all time and forever.' Speaking to Ripa, Renner added that feeling like 'a man that didn't want to come back' has made him now 'really be able to be back here and live it on my terms as the captain of my own ship. And get on it or off it, I don't give a fuck. I'm going to live life on my own terms and for nobody else. [It's] very clear. The white noise is ripped away.' After spending nearly a year in recovery, Renner has since gone on to return to acting via his Paramount+ original drama series Mayor of Kingstown . He also filmed a role in Rian Johnson's next 'Knives Out' movie, aptly called Wake Up Dead Man , which is coming to theaters and Netflix this fall. via: Variety

Drake Makes History As First Ever Artist With 10 Diamond Records, Social Media Reminds Haters

Source: Prince Williams / Getty Drake set a wild new record; he's now the only artist with 10 diamond-certified tracks under his belt. The RIAA confirmed that both 'Hold On, We're Going Home' and his breakout banger 'Best I Ever Had' have officially gone diamond, meaning each has moved over 10 million units. That puts him at the top, passing every other artist in the game when it comes to diamond hits. Once the news hit Instagram, the reactions were all over the place. Some fans gave him his flowers, with one person writing, 'You can't hate on this… greatness right here.' But the Kendrick vs. Drake debate popped right back up. A Kendrick fan jumped in saying, 'Nobody said Drake didn't have hits, we just saying Dot raps better. The machine behind Drake been running strong for years.' While everyone's talking numbers, Drake's already back in the lab. He told Adin Ross during a stream on Kick that he's cooking up something new, calling the next project a 'slap.' His post on IG with the caption 'Iceman' had fans guessing that it might be tied to the name or vibe of his next drop. If true, it'll be his first solo album since For All the Dogs in 2023. On top of that, he's linking up with Kai Cenat for a new music video for 'SOMEBODY LOVES ME.' They're running a contest where fans can submit their ideas for a chance to win $15K and get featured in the final cut. Drake even popped up at Cenat's 'Streamer University' event last weekend, keeping his finger on the pulse of what's hot online. At this point, Drake isn't just breaking records, he's rewriting the rules. Beyoncé Braves The Pouring Rain At MetLife Stadium In Ultimate ‘Cowboy Carter' Performance

Source: Alex Slitz / Getty As the Cowboy Carter tour bucks on, Beyoncé continues to give her fans exactly what they want (and paid a hefty sum for), even if that means she has to brave the elements to do so. During her fourth night at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium for her sold-out Cowboy Carter tour , Beyoncé didn't let a torrential downpour stop her from performing the nearly three-hour show with songs from her Grammy-winning album. Per USA Today , the rain came before the show began at a little after 8 p.m. local time, and the stage was thoroughly wiped down before Beyoncé went on. As she opened the show, Beyoncé addressed the large crowd and thanked them for their decades of support throughout her career. 'Thank you for your love, dedication and for your loyalty over 25 years,' she said. The rain continued throughout the entirety of the concert. Still, she proceeded on, and her fans were right there with her even though their carefully curated fashion ensembles and hairstyles were drenched. However, in true Beyhive fashion, if Beyoncé can deal with an obstacle then they will follow suit. Mama Tina Knowles praised her daughter for being the ultimate performer in an Instagram post. 'Oh my God !!! You cannot talk her out of flying and pouring down rain!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽Just had to get on my knees and pray❤️🙏🏽,' she captioned a clip of Bey flying through the air on a giant horseshoe. Towards the end of the May 28 show, she thanked her fans again, but this time it was specifically for braving the rain with her. 'Thank y'all for giving all this energy in the cold and rain. I love you deep deep deep,' she said. Beyoncé will take the stage at MeLife Stadium for a fifth night on Thursday, May 29. Her next tour stop will be across the pond to London, England for a six-night run of shows at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium beginning June 5.
