Rio Ferdinand hits back at troll on wife Kate's bikini snaps after she gave a glimpse into their summer getaway
The former TOWIE star, 34, gave a glimpse of her recent family holiday to Portugal on Instagram on Saturday.
The post included a sweet shot of Kate and Rio holding hands by a front door, a mouthwatering spread of food, and adorable beachside fun moments.
Among the carousel were two photos of Kate in bikinis - one in olive green, the other black - showing off her stunning figure as she soaked up the sun.
Alongside the post she penned: 'July has been full of memories (& food) in our home from home'.
But not everyone was impressed. One social media user took aim in the comments, writing: 'Don't think you need to show in a bikini [sic.].'
While it's unclear which image drew the criticism, Rio, 46, wasted no time clapping back.
Within minutes, he replied: '@brendaweav1 ffs Brenda, have a day off.'
The podcast presenter is a stepmother to her husband Rio's three children: Lorenz, 18, Tate, 16 and Tia, 14.
And she also has two children with Rio: son Cree, born in December 2020, and daughter Shae, born in 2023.
It comes after Rio shed light on the early stages of his relationship with his now-wife Kate earlier this month, and admitted his kids' reaction decided the future of their union.
Appearing on Kate's podcast Blended, the former footballer revealed how he dealt with introducing a new romance after losing his beloved wife Rebecca, and being left a single father to his three children.
Rebecca died aged just 34 after a short battle with breast cancer. She appeared to be in the clear only for a scan to reveal the disease had spread to her bones five weeks before her death, prior to which she planned her own funeral.
Amid his grief, Rio met Kate, who he began dating in 2017, however he revealed her introduction to his family was slow moving. The couple wed in Turkey in September 2019 and share two children; Cree, four, and Shae, who turns two later this month.
Kate also posted a fun moment of her splashing in the sea with her son Cree and they walked through the waves along the shore
Discussing introducing his relationship to his children, Rio told his wife: 'It's hard, you don't really get over it if you do it wrong, if it's done abruptly without conversations and done the wrong way.
'But if people are saying no, the kids are saying no I don't know, man. I'm just lucky, fortunately we didn't get to that point...
'But if my kids have said no, we're probably not here right now. Because we don't get the chance to get to where we are, where we're like madly in love...
'Because as soon as the kids say no - we were in love at that time, but it was still early enough to think where you go, but on both sides, you go, 'The kids ain't accepting me, I can't get into this. It's too much stress.'
'And I'm going, 'The kids ain't happy. They're going to have to be number one.' And I think there's a lot of relationships that would end up because of that...
'I don't know how you push on after you've just found someone, you fell in love with them, you two together, and the kids aren't involved in that...
'And then when they get involved and not happy, I don't know how you still move forward together like that unless you separate it.'
On navigating the introduction stages, he said: ''I do think it's important in the way that you introduce this new person into the house. We very much were on the basis, we talked a lot before we even broached the idea with the kids...
'We brought Kate in as a friend first, they started seeing her around at different things that we go into friends' houses, et cetera. Kate will be there. And Ronnie, the dog, which is a great softener as well...
'But those moments of familiarity and, 'Oh, it's only Kate,' soften that next move where you go, 'Right, guys,' and you bring that. I just think we were really much about bringing them into the conversation, make them feel, have some ownership over the whole situation...
''Listen, guys, you remember Kate?' Let's see where we go then, Dad.' I think if you do it wrong, I've been in a situation, my own family recently, where it's done wrong. And I've been part of the ramifications of that and the repercussions'.

Frankie Bridge fans 'obsessed' with sell-out suit that's back in new colour
The 36-year-old singer shared her latest 'Payday Faves' on Instagram over the weekend and her followers went made for a sage green suit from PrettyLittleThing Style icon Frankie Bridge has served up some seriously swoon-worthy looks in her recent 'Faves Edit'. And one of the outfits was a co-ord set from PrettyLittleThing that had fans 'obsessed', with some saying it's one of her 'best looks yet'. The former The Saturdays singer each week shares a series of outfits on Instagram and in her Faves Edit newsletter to give style inspiration to her followers. This week, her video featured looks for shoppers to treat themselves to come payday - the PrettyLittleThing set included. Consisting of a Woven Collarless Oversized Shoulder Pad Waistcoat, £34, and Woven Extreme Wide Leg Pleated Mid Rise Wide Leg Trousers, £28, the pair comes in three different colours: sage khaki (green - Frankie's choice), butter yellow and a light neutral Clay tone. Her inclusion of this suit comes after the brand's popular chocolate brown hue supposedly 'sold out'. Frankie mused: " This suit has sold out every time in brown, so they've brought out a new colour." While she said that on the website it looks more of a beige hue, she confirmed in her video showcasing the duo that is was 'definitely green'. Shop Frankie's look Product Description Made from a mix of 75% Polyester, 20% Viscose and 5% Elastane, the suit is a great option for events like weddings, christenings and dinners occurring in the summer months thanks to its relatively lightweight make-up. With dramatic shoulders, a collarless neckline - great for showing off necklaces - and sleeveless finish, the waistcoat has a relaxed fit and hidden popper fastening for a seamless look. It's a unique take on the more traditional waistcoats, which often feature button fastenings on the outside - for example, the £25 M&S Collection Tailored Waistcoat has four buttons on the front to fasten its tailored fit, while New Look's Green Soft Touch Striped Crew Neck Waistcoat, £22.99, has more of a longline shape fastened from its crew neckline to its hip-length hem. A fun design, this waistcoat comes with a defined striped vertical pattern and fitted darts. The PLT waistcoat is complimented nicely by the brand's Extreme Wide Leg Pleated Mid Rise Wide Leg Trousers. With 'exaggerated pleats and flowing legs' they are flattering on all shapes and sizes. The set is still available in sizes four to 16. Fans and followers of Frankie Bridge on Instagram flooded her comments section to praise the ensemble - which was made up of some statement earrings, a burgundy bag and burgundy sandal heels. "OMG some of the best looks yet," said one keen fashion fan, while another raved: "Ohhh that sage green co-ord is a piece of me." "Needs the links for them all and your fav green co ord same," added another. Although for some people, these looks proved to be a little too 'big' on the singer, with one Instagram comment reading: "Everything looks so big", regarding the oversized fit. They added: "I prefer the more fitted, tailored outfits."

Tessa Thompson snuggles up to new boyfriend Brandon Green as they hold hands on romantic holiday in Portofino
Tessa Thompson and her new boyfriend Brandon Green looked smitten as they enjoyed a stroll on their romantic holiday in Portofino, Italy. The Creed actress, 41, looked chic in a cream sundress as she held hands with The Alchemy of Money CEO, 31. The Thor: Ragnarok star added elegant black shades to accessorise and wore chic red open-toe heels for her outing. The couple - who enjoyed a double date with LeBron James and wife Savannah in St Tropez last week - couldn't keep their hands off one another as they cherished every bit of the dolce vita. Soaking up the sun in the Italian Riviera coastline, Tessa looked on cloud nine beaming next to her partner, who previously dated Harry Potter star Emma Watson. Tessa and the son of controversial tycoon Sir Philip Green were first linked in March 2024 and have been spotted together countless times since, with reports suggesting that they are officially an item. While Tessa famously keeps tight-lipped on her romantic endeavours, she has been linked to Brandon for more than a year. They were first spotted looking cosy at a Lakers game in March 2024 as they appeared happy in each other's company while sitting courtside. Between watching baskets, Tessa and Brandon seemed to have eyes for each other as they beamed at one another. Since then, they have been seen together on a number of occasions, most recently at BST Hyde Park to watch Stevie Wonder. Over the years, Tessa - who identifies as bisexual - has been linked to several high-profile people, including Janelle Monae. In 2015, she was believed to have started dating Janelle after starring as a backup dancer in their Yoga video, according to PopSugar. The pair were also seen together at the 2015 MOCA gala, and three years later Tessa was featured in Janelle's music video for Dirty Computer. Meanwhile, Brandon has previously dated a number of models. He was once caught patting Kate Moss' bottom on holiday in St Barts. However, it looked like he was set to settle down with outspoken actress and activist Emma, when they started dating in 2021. The couple dated for 18 months until it seems that Emma had some kind of an epiphany connected to her 'Saturn return' and decided that she wanted out of the relationship. A Saturn return refers to time when the planet Saturn goes back to the position it was in at the moment you were born. Astrologers say it signifies the end of one life-cycle and the beginning of the next, and it happens at around the ages of 29, 58 and 84, bringing with it 'monumental shifts' in lifestyle.

Coronation Street's Jack P Shepherd brands wedding guests 'idiots' for one question
Jack P Shepherd, known for his role as David Platt on the long-running ITV soap, recently tied the knot with his partner, Hanni Treweek, but revealed that he had a certain issue prior to the big day Jack P Shepherd has dubbed some of his recent wedding guests "f***ing idiots" for asking a specific question about the proceedings. In a new episode of the On The Sofa podcast with fellow Coronation Street stars Colson Smith and Ben Price (recorded prior to his marriage to Hanni Treweek), the David Platt actor opened up about his wedding preparations. On Saturday (July 26), the happy couple tied the knot at Manchester Cathedral, surrounded by loved ones. It included his podcast co-hosts, Colson and Ben, who would serve as his groomsmen on the day. Jack noted at the time of the recording that it was the "kick-b*****k scramble" week before the wedding, a time when they had to address the "nitty gritty bits", prompting Colson to ask if there had been any cancellations. He said: "I've had a few f***ing idiots saying things like - it's mainly family." Colson interjected, noting that he was, in fact, a "f***ing idiot", to which Jack replied: "Oh, was ya?" Jack continued: "Saying stuff like, 'Well, where do we get ready, because the wedding's at two, but we can't check in till three?' I said, 'At f***ing home, you idiot. I mean, where do you think you get ready if you can't get ready in the hotel?" Elaborating, he pointed out that people could arrive at the hotel and do what "normal people" do by dropping their bags off. Despite this, it appears that the wedding went off without a hitch. In what they described as "the wedding of our dreams", Jack arrived in a red Mustang and wore an off-white suit, sunglasses and bow-tie. Meanwhile, Hanni, donning a tiara, reportedly wore a skirt and off-the-shoulder top. Also in attendance were Jack's son, Reuben (whose outfit matched his dad's) and the actor's on-screen mum, Helen Worth, who was accompanied by her husband, Trevor Dawson. As they left the venue, the newlyweds could be seen beaming and exchanging a number of kisses as they headed to the wedding car, as white confetti cascaded over them. Jack and Hanni first met on the set of Corrie when she was working as a scriptwriter. Fast forward to over a year ago, and Jack popped the question while the couple enjoyed a safari in Tanzania. The soap actor first joined the long-running ITV show in April 2000 and has since become a much-loved fixture of the series. In advance of the big day, Jack took to Instagram to express his thanks to the wedding planners. He wrote: "The A team, @taylorlynncorp me and @hannitreweek are so grateful. everything has come together and it's looking like it's gonna be amazing! "We couldn't have done it without you guys. Best in the biz. Thank you thank you thank you."
