Susan Boyle proves she is Oasis' number one fan as she breaks her silence after Liam Gallagher surprised concertgoers by dedicating a song to the Britain's Got Talent star
Liam Gallagher gave the singer a shoutout at their latest gig in Edinburgh on Tuesday as they were about to start Stand By Me.
Before the song began, the Mancunian singer announced into the mic: 'This one's for Susan Boyle.'
And now Susan has shared a message to thank the band for the dedicationt.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Susan looked delighted as she posed putting two thumbs up while wearing the band's merchandise.
She penned: 'Thanks so much for the dedication @liamgallagher. You've made this old girl's day. Hope to see you and the rest of @Oasis at Wembley in September for a wee bit of poznan. Big love to you all.'
On Tuesday, Liam reaffirmed his dedication to Susan as he shared an album of black and white pictures to Instagram alongside the caption: 'THIS ONE'S FOR SUSAN BOYLE. Edinburgh Night Three. 12.08.25'
Susan went on to share his post to her own Instagram Stories and thanked him for the sweet tribute.
It comes after Liam launched a scathing attack on Edinburgh Fringe - the world's biggest performing arts festival - claiming it is a celebration of 'thick s***'.
The 52-year-old rock star tore into the event during his band's opening show at Murrayfield Stadium.
He told 70,000 fans the city's arts festival bonanza just involved people 'juggling f***ing b******s... swallowing swords' and 's****y card tricks'.
Moments after stepping out on stage Friday's gig, Liam Gallagher said: 'What about Edinburgh council, the f***ing s***s.
'The amount of money we're going to bring in, they'll split with their posh, ugly mates. Still waiting for a f***ing apology.'
After a brief pause, he then rounded on the Fringe festival, saying: 'What's happening in Edinburgh then? What's all that thick s***?
'People juggling f***ing b******s and that? Swallowing swords... one-legged bicycles. What's all that s*** about? S****y card tricks?'
His comments came after bosses at Edinburgh council branded the band's fans as drunk, fat and middle-aged and could deter performers away from attending this month's Fringe festival.
The brothers have also reportedly been recently warned to keep their of views of Donald Trump to themselves to avoid jeopardizing Oasis's US tour.
The rockstar brothers, about to embark on a come-back tour of Canada and the States, were advised to 'stay out of American politics'.
Liam once called the US president a 'd**k' while Noel labelled Trump's environmental politics as 'pretty f***ing scary'.
But top showbiz manager Jonathan Shalit told the DailyMail: 'My advice to Oasis is simple: stay out of American politics.
'If they want their US tour to go ahead without disruption, it would be wise to keep quiet on all things Trump.'

Noel Gallagher 'writing new music' amid triumphant Oasis reunion
Noel Gallagher could be writing new Oasis music following the band's triumphant reunion. The singer, 58, and younger brother Liam Gallagher, 52, hadn't performed together since their 2009 split, meaning the world was, quite literally, sent into a frenzy last August when they confirmed the guns had 'fallen silent'. Oasis have since played shows in Cardiff, Manchester, and London, treating fans to their biggest hits from across the band's discography, but many have questioned whether a new album could be on its way now that the band is back. Now, a source has claimed to The Mirror that the musician is penning new music, but it has not been confirmed whether or not it is to be performed by Oasis. 'Noel has been inspired by playing to adoring crowds, who have supercharged his creativity,' an insider claimed. 'But he is undecided whether his work will become a new album for Oasis with Liam on vocals.' The source said that Noel, who leads High Flying Birds and has also released music as a solo artist, is 'waiting to see how things play out' while performing alongside his brother. 'Noel has been in an absolutely fine mood… greeting staff with smiles, super relaxed and sharing his joy about the shows,' they continued. 'He's also been strumming some new tunes in his dressing room. But, from what he has said, these tracks are not yet aligned for any project. 'There is no Oasis studio return as yet agreed by the band, and they still have a long way to go. Things are great now, but who knows what will happen given the brothers' past troubles on the road.' Earlier this year, however, the band's manager quelled hopes for a new Oasis record. Speaking to Music Week, Alec McKinlay said: 'This is very much the last time around, as Noel's made clear in the press. 'It's a chance for fans who haven't seen the band to see them, or at least for some of them to … there's no plan for any new music.'
