Keke Palmer: You should never be afraid to evolve
The 31-year-old actress - who has Leo, two, with her ex-partner Darius Jackson - wants her baby boy to know that he "can always become someone new".
Asked what she hopes Leo learns from her, Keke told Extra: "Just to never be afraid to evolve. I think we get so caught up in our storylines, and even when they're tough, we have a hard time getting out of them, but you can always shape-shift. You can always become someone new and let your happiness, let your joy and your peace, be that guiding force.
"I want him to know that happiness is his to take, but we got to take it, you know?"
Meanwhile, Keke recently revealed that she found it "really, really hard" to regain her pre-pregnancy figure.
The Hollywood star told People: "You have to get back to yourself after the baby. It's really, really hard.
"Anybody with kids knows sometimes it can take three, four, five years. It really wears your a** out."
Keke revealed that Pilates has been key to her workout routine.
The actress shared: "I'm a Pilates girl down, I don't care. It's the Pilates. And I need people to know it doesn't matter what that scale says. It matters about the muscles. That's what I love about Pilates. It don't matter what your size is, your body is going to be snatched with Pilates."
Keke combined her workout routine with a healthy, balanced diet.
She said: "If you could find a dance class, Pilates class, a yoga class, a cycling class, whatever class that you like that can happen at the top of your day before you go to work, it will do wonders. The consistency of that will do wonders. And then I'll say, make your own food. I know, I know it's a lot. Nobody wants to do the meal prep s***, but making your own food and knowing what you put in it, it does wonders.
"Making your own meals, keeping it consistent with some type of activity. It really does transform your body. And then fun stuff. Sometimes we forget that everything don't have to be a serious workout. What if I just go play tennis or pickleball with my girl? What if we just go swimming for a day? You know what I'm saying?"

Terror as giant octopus grabs child at aquarium
A family outing ended in terrifying circumstances after a massive octopus latched onto a young boy and climbed outside its water tank while wrapping itself around the child. The six-year-old was innocently interacting with the sea creatures above an open-top pool when the octopus grabbed him by the arm, suctioned itself to his torso and would not let go. Staff and onlookers at the San Antonio Aquarium in Texas rushed to assist the child, and it reportedly took three adults at least five minutes to physically remove the tentacles, leaving the youngster severely bruised on the arm and upper body. The child's mother, Britney Taryn, said the incident, which occurred during a visit by her family on July 14, happened when the giant Pacific octopus grabbed her son Leo's arm while he was hovering over the touch tank. Ms Taryn released a TikTok video saying they had previously visited the attraction and engaged with the same octopus without issue. 'My son is very level-headed when it comes to animals, so when he had his arm in there, and he starts saying, 'Mom, it's not letting me go — and way too calmly — 'I'm like, 'Oh, okay.' So I'm helping him get down from the step and trying to pull him away from the octopus, and that octopus is not letting go,' Ms Taryn said. If you'd like to view this content, please adjust your . To find out more about how we use cookies, please see our Cookie Guide. 'The octopus starts coming out of the tank, and the reason we don't have pictures or videos of this is because my friend was also freaking out.' Images released on social media show the young boy's arms covered in deep bruises caused by the Octopus's suction cups. The San Antonio Aquarium has since posted a social media video explaining the bruising these animals can inflict once they attach themselves to other animals or humans, that can last between seven to 14 days. 'So there's around 200 suction cups per arm. And as they grow ... they will actually shed their suction cup,' an aquarium employee said in the clip. The aquarium added that the giant Pacific octopus has the ability to lift weights of over 300 kilograms. According to PEOPLE, Ms Taryn has attempted to engage with the aquarium and is campaigning for safer and more comfortable living conditions for the animal, as well as others in similar situations. She added that she asked the San Antonio Aquarium to formally document the incident, and to provide an accessible explanation of the aquarium's safety protocols for when visitors interact with animals. In a social media video she claimed that she had not heard back from the Texas-based venue.

Sister of Liam Neeson's late wife Natasha Richardson reacts to his ‘budding romance' with Pamela Anderson
Liam Neeson's new love appears to have his former sister-in-law's approval. Pamela Anderson took to Instagram on Friday, August 1, to share a carousel of sweet photos of herself posing with Neeson to promote the release of their new movie together. 'The Naked Gun is finally in theatres!' Anderson, 58, wrote. 'Bring your friends, family, lovers… whoever… just go and have a laugh… It's good for you! I'll see you there.' Natasha Richardson's sister, Joely Richardson, then shared seven red heart emojis in the comments section of Anderson's post. Joely's apparent support for Neeson's rumored romance with Anderson excited many of the former 'Baywatch' star's fans, and several took to the comments section to share their reactions. 'Classy and loving as always,' one person wrote underneath Joely's comment. 'Very sweet of you,' added another, while a third commented, 'Okay, this is everything.' Neeson, 73, married Joely's sister, Natasha Richardson, in 1994 after the pair met and worked together on the Broadway revival of 'Anna Christie' one year earlier. Before striking up a relationship with Richardson, the 'Taken' star had dated Helen Mirren and Barbra Streisand. Neeson and Richardson went on to welcome two sons together: Micheál, now 30, and Daniel, now 28. But tragedy struck in March 2009 when Richardson passed away from a traumatic brain injury she suffered during a skiing accident in Quebec. The beloved 'Parent Trap' actress was 45. Neeson later opened up about his wife's passing and the grief he endured during an interview with '60 Minutes' in 2014. 'Grief hits you. It's like a wave,' he told host Anderson Cooper at the time. 'You just get this profound feeling of instability. You feel like a three-legged table. Just suddenly, the Earth isn't stable anymore.' 'And then it passes and becomes more infrequent, but I still get it sometimes,' the 'Star Wars' actor added. Then, in October 2024, Neeson claimed that he was done dating. 'No, in a word,' he told People last year. 'I'm past all that.' But that appeared to change when the Oscar-nominated actor and Anderson met and began working together on Seth MacFarlane's 'The Naked Gun' reboot. 'With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her,' Neeson, also in October 2024, said. 'She's just terrific to work with.' 'I think I have a friend forever in Liam, and we definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving, and he's a good guy,' Anderson told Entertainment Weekly last month. The pair both brought their sons to the NYC premiere of 'The Naked Gun,' and then pretended to make out on live TV during a July 29 appearance on 'Today.' Insiders have since claimed that Neeson and Anderson are dating and 'enjoying each other's company.' 'It's a budding romance in the early stages,' a source told People in July. 'It's sincere, and it's clear they're smitten with each other.' 'It's very sincere how they feel,' another insider told Page Six. 'That is the truth.' 'They're not going to show up on the red carpet and be adorable just to be fake, that's not either of them,' they added. 'This is happening in real time, here and now, so I don't know what things look like moving forward.' The Post has reached out to Neeson and Anderson's reps for comment. Pope's 'Jubilee of Youth' closes with huge Rome mass
Pope Leo XIV presided over a final mass in Rome for over one million young people on Sunday, the culmination of a youth pilgrimage that has drawn Catholics from across the world. The week-long event ending Sunday, a highlight of the Jubilee holy year, was an enormous undertaking for the Vatican, with a half a million young pilgrims in Rome for most of the week. On Saturday night, before an twilight vigil led by the pope, organisers had confirmed the attendance of 800,000 people in the vast, open-air space on Rome's eastern outskirts, and on Sunday the Vatican said that number had grown to one million people. Most of those attending slept on the ground overnight in tents, in sleeping bags or or mats in anticipation of Sunday's mass. "There is a burning question in our hearts, a need for truth that we cannot ignore, which leads us to ask ourselves: what is true happiness? What is the true meaning of life? What can free us from being trapped in meaninglessness, boredom and mediocrity?" asked the 69-year-old pope in his homily. "Aspire to great things, to holiness, wherever you are. Do not settle for less," Pope Leo told the young people. Upon your return to your countries, Leo told them, "continue to walk joyfully in the footsteps of the Savior, and spread your enthusiasm and the witness of your faith to everyone you meet!" "Have a good trip home!" - Catholic 'Woodstock' - The colourful event under sunny skies was accompanied by music from a choir, and the presence of about 450 bishops and 700 priests, all in green robes. The massive golden arch that covered the stage was dominated by a massive cross. The young pilgrims -- hailing from 146 different countries, according to the Vatican -- have filled Rome's streets since Monday, chanting, singing and waving flags of their countries. The festive atmosphere reached its peak Saturday ahead of an evening vigil presided over by Leo, with Italian broadcaster Rai dubbing it a Catholic "Woodstock". Hundreds of thousands of youths camped out at the dusty venue, strumming guitars or singing, others snoozing, as music blasted from the stage where a series of religious bands entertained the crowds. Leo was greeted with deafening screams and applause after his arrival by helicopter Saturday as he toured the grounds in his popemobile, with many people running to catch a better glimpse of the new American pope. At over 500,000 square metres (125 acres), the grounds were the size of around 70 football fields. British student Andy Hewellyn had parked himself in front of a huge video screen -- a prime spot, as he could not even see the stage far away. "I'm so happy to be here, even if I'm a bit far from the pope. I knew what to expect!" he told AFP. "The main thing is that we're all together." The youth pilgrimage came about three months after the start of Leo's papacy and 25 years after former pope John Paul II organised the last such youth gathering in Rome. It was announced by former Pope Francis during World Youth Day in Lisbon in 2023. The Church planned a series of events for the young pilgrims over the course of the week, including turning the Circus Maximus -- where chariot races were held in ancient Rome -- into an open-air confessional.
