Oasis at Murrayfield LIVE as Edinburgh prepares for Gallagher mania

Daily Record10 hours ago
It's the day that Scots Oasis fans have been waiting for. The Manchester Britpop icons take to the Murrayfield stage tonight for the first of a three-night run series of gigs in the capital.
The show marks the Gallagher brothers triumphant live return to the country that made them for the first time in 16 years.
Last night, Liam sent followers with tickets to the Edinburgh gigs into a frenzy as he shared a nostalgic social media video which showcased the group's legendary Scottish performances over the decade, including T in the Park, King Tut's, Balloch Castle Country Park and the SECC.
Oasis last played in Scotland in June 2009 as part of their Dig Out Your Soul tour.
Preparations have been underway for weeks in Edinburgh and it's safe to say the area is buzzing for the Gallagher duo to belt out their most iconic hits.
Like all of the shows on the Oasis 2025 reunion tour, the Edinburgh dates are sold out, and fans from far flung spots have been gathering in the city over the past few days, including followers from South Korea and Germany, determined to bag some of the merchandise on offer at the site ahead of the much anticipated concerts.
Earlier this month, Oasis kicked off their string of sold-out reunion shows at Cardiff's Principality Stadium, before they headed to Manchester and London ahead of the Edinburgh and Dublin dates on their UK and Ireland leg of the show.
The supporting acts are The Verve's Richard Ashcroft and Liverpool band Cast, and fans have been promised to be transported back to the 90s with the lineup.
After their Edinburgh shows, Oasis will head to Dublin for two dates. The first leg of their UK tour will wrap up at the city's Croke Park on August 17.
From there, Oasis will head across the Atlantic for shows in Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles and Mexico City, before returning to London for two additional Wembley dates at the end of September.
The tour then continues through Asia, Australia and South America, with the final show set for November 23 in São Paulo, Brazil.
We've got all the hot takes and information you need to know if you're headed to Edinburgh over the next few days, or simply want to stay on top of all the action...
