Fans shared heartfelt reactions to Paresh Rawal's comment. One of them wrote, 'Sir, Hera Pheri wouldn't be same with you.', Another said, 'Sir, please rethink your decision.' As many awaited to watch the reunion of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal, one user addressed, 'The trio wouldn't be complete without you.'
Following Paresh Rawal's exit from Hera Pheri 3, rumours claimed that they were creative differences between him and makers that urged him to quit the franchise. However, Paresh dismissed these speculations. He later revealed the real reason behind his decision and said to Midday, 'I know it came as a shock to many. We three make a great combination with Priyadarshanji directing us, but the fact is that I opted out because today I don't feel like a part of it. It is final for the time being. I always say 'never say never' for anything. One cannot predict what happens in the future.'
Following Rawal's departure, reports emerged that film's lead actor and producer, Akshay Kumar, was considering to take a legal action against him. The film's director Priyadarshan told the same publication that Rawal didn't inform anyone before taking the decision and revealed that contract was already signed and the film's promo and few scenes were already shot. He also said that Akshay had tears in his eyes after the veteran actor announced his departure from the film.
While, amid this controversy, it still remains unclear whether Akshay, Suniel, and Priyadarshan will proceed with the third installment of Hera Pheri without Paresh or not.
