British pop star's Glastonbury gig cancelled with last minute replacement
A British pop star has pulled out of their Glastonbury set with a last minute replacement.
Just For Me singer PinkPantheress, whose real name is Victoria Beverley Walker, was due to take to the Levels stage in Silver Hayes at on Thursday night for a 30 minute slot.
However, the 11pm gig has now been scrapped with a couple of days to go, and festival-goers spotted the lineup change on the official festival app.
Instead, Roza Terenzi will be playing from 10:30pm until midnight, sandwiched between a Confidence Man DJ set and Marie Davidson.
Thankfully for PinkPantheress fans, she will still be performing as planned the Woodies Stage on Friday evening at 7:30pm.
The last minute changed her sparked speculation from fans that the reshuffle was down to the 24-year-old star's popularity.
'Was going to be dangerously rammed,' a fan wrote on Reddit, while another said: 'Could have seen that coming, why even book it then.'
A different fan commented: 'Probably for the best, having anything remotely popular on the stage (especially on Thursday) is always a recipe for disaster.'
And someone else added: 'Yeah everyone knew it would be carnage from the moment it was announced.'
However, Glastonbury has rubbished fears of 'overcrowding' and insisted PinkPantheress was not able to perform.

A spokesman told The Sun: 'This change was absolutely not as a result of overcrowding fears, the artist was simply no longer able to make this performance. But she is still playing her Woodsies set.'
Already, PinkPantheress has 2.6million Instagram followers, having grown her fanbase on TikTok by sampling 90s and 00s tracks.
She's already found herself in the top 10 singles and album charts in the UK, and has three Brit Award nominations to her name.
Last summer, she cancelled all her remaining 2024 dates due to ill health after struggling with her 'overall well-being'.
'It is with the heaviest heart that I sadly have to announce that I will not be able to continue with the rest of my live shows this year,' the Boy's A Liar star wrote on Instagram at the time.
She added: 'It appears I have reached a wall which I am struggling to penetrate through.'
Organisers have slowly revealed the artists for each stage ahead of the festival — which runs from Wednesday, June 25 to Sunday, June 29 — but punters know there's always plenty hidden in the fields.
Olivia Rodrigo, The 1975 and Neil Young will headline with the likes of Scissor Sisters and Busta Rhymes performing elsewhere at Worthy Farm, while fans are trying to figure out some secret performances over the weekend. More Trending
This year, a lot of the attention is largely focused on the mysterious Patchwork, who are taking to the Pyramid Stage on Saturday.
Emily Eavis — head organiser and daughter of Sir Michael Eavis — has teased that the secret set has been 'in the works for a while'.

'Harrowing' film from 28 Years Later director now available on free streamer
Nearly 30 years after it first hit screens, the cult classic film Trainspotting is available to watch for free right now. In 1996 Danny Boyle's black comedy drama was released. It starred Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, Kevin McKidd, Robert Carlyle, and Kelly Macdonald, who was making her film debut. Based on the 1993 novel by Irvine Welsh, it followed the tumultuous lives of a group of heroin addicts living in a disadvantaged part of Edinburgh. Although the film suffered an early blow when it was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, but deemed ineligible for any awards due to its content, it was considered the stand-out hit from that year's event. When eventually hitting cinemas in February 1996 it grossed £532,950 in its opening weekend. Trainspotting eventually became the highest-grossing British film of that year, and at the time it was the fourth highest grossing British film in history. South Park faces major question in bitter battle over $900,000,000 deal
South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are threatening legal action as talks over its future rumble on. The future of the long running animated series is yet to be decided, with the end of its Paramount deal and talks with other streamers. Negotiations are ongoing to see where the iconic and controversial show will land, with Netflix and Warner Bros. Discovery in the running. However, Jeff Shell – who will become president of Paramount if its merger with Skydance goes through – has now been accused of interfering in contract negotiations. According to a letter seen by The Hollywood Reporter, Parker and Stone's Park County entertainment company has threatened legal action. An attorney for the duo has accused Shell of trying to get Netflix and WBD to alter certain details in their offer in a 'manner calculated to benefit Paramount at the expense' of the company. One accusation includes Shell allegedly trying to get WBD to give Paramount+ an exclusive 12-month window for new South Park episodes, with a five-year deal rather than 10, which could lessen its value amid talks. In the letter, the attorney says: 'We hereby demand that you, Redbird, and Skydance immediately cease your interference. 'If these activities continue, we will have no choice but to act to both protect our rights and discharge any obligations we may have to the public.' However, a Skydance spokesperson told the Hollywood Reporter in a statement: 'Under the terms of the transaction agreement, Skydance has the right to approve material contracts.' Paramount, Parker and Stone all operate South Park Digital Studios, which is the owner of the show's streaming rights. This structure has caused issues with negotiations, along with Skydance awaiting approval for its acquisition of Paramount. Until the merger is official, the firm cannot take control or issue directives, due to federal antitrust laws. Afshin Beyzaee, general counsel at Park County, is said to have written in the letter to Shell: 'You did this behind Park County's back. 'That self-dealing would have been absolutely restricted if it were done by Paramount itself. 'So, it is simply outrageous that even before it has been granted the authority to close the merger with Paramount, Redbird and Skydance are jumping the gun and using confidential information of SPDS to purport to make demands on behalf of SPDS that even Paramount has no right to make.' The South Park Digital Studios board of managers includes Paramount's Comedy Partners, which has limited rights to act.
