Speaking to GMA News Online, Sofronio shared his enthusiasm, emphasizing the significance of the opportunity. 'Masayang-masaya ako that I was chosen to sing the national anthem. Nakaka-proud sa sarili and nakaka-proud na mismong ikaw, after kang kumanta ng specific song na very patriotic, maririnig mo kung ano 'yung mga nangyayari sa Pilipinas, even not just from the, you know, the President, but you get to know more as a Filipino kung anong kailangan nating malaman,' he said. Annette Gozon-Valdes and Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo.
