Ford Ranger driver slammed for tailgating to avoid toll
A Ford Ranger driver has gone viral on TikTok after being caught tailgating another vehicle to sneak through a toll booth without paying.
In the 13-second clip, the four-wheel drive (4WD) can be seen driving dangerously close behind a car before accelerating to slip past the boom gate. Once through, the vehicle slows down and continues on its way.

'Bro thought the toll was already free as announced by the government,' read the sarcastic caption on the video.
Based on the dashcam clip, the incident is believed to have taken place at 10.54pm on July 25.
The post has since racked up over 180 comments, with many slamming the driver for refusing to pay a small toll fee — despite owning a vehicle worth RM100,000 to RM200,000.
One user remarked, 'Drives an expensive car but can't pay the toll.'

Another quipped, 'Pity him — all his money went into the car. Now there's not even enough left to pay toll. What about food money?'
A third chimed in, 'All his money's gone to monthly car payments.'
Meanwhile, Faiz Hamid didn't hold back: 'Shameful to drive such a big car and still skip the toll. 'Might as well drive a sardine can, bro.'

Eda Ezrin denies connection to drug bust involving TikToker
NARATHIWAT: Malaysian dikir barat singer Eda Ezrin, who is currently being held at the Narathiwat prison, has denied any connection to a major drug bust involving a woman known as Yuyu and urged the public not to pass judgement based on a viral video. The 30-year-old, who has been in custody since November last year, said she had no ties to Yuyu, who was recently arrested with five others and found in possession of drugs worth more than RM5 million. In a brief 30-minute interview at the prison today, Eda hoped her fans would not associate her with individuals involved in drug-related activities simply because of a TikTok clip circulating on social media. "I'm just an ordinary singer. I have no connection whatsoever with the woman named Yuyu. "She is not my friend, as claimed online. I've only met her a few times at social gatherings. She is a friendly person and often invites people to join her TikTok live sessions," she said. Eda said prison officers had informed her about the viral content, and she was shocked to learn that her casual interaction with Yuyu in a short video had sparked misunderstanding. "I want to clarify this to my fans so they do not view me negatively. I have never been involved in any unlawful activity," she said. Appearing composed throughout the interview, Eda expressed hope that her family and supporters would continue praying for her, her husband, and the four others detained with them to be released soon. "However, if it is my fate to remain in prison longer, as I've been informed that the Thai prosecutors are still appealing my case, I will accept it with an open heart," she said. Couple faces drug trafficking charges in Melaka court
MELAKA: A couple was charged in the Ayer Keroh Magistrate's Court today for allegedly trafficking 15.06 grammes of heroin last month. Ahmad Ramdzan Mohamed, 26, and Farah Amira Mohamad Ali, 28, acknowledged the charge but did not enter a plea as drug trafficking cases are under High Court jurisdiction. The charge states they were found with the substance near Jalan Teruna 1, Taman Bukit Rambai, Melaka Tengah, at around 6 pm on July 22. Prosecuted under Section 39B(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, they face the death penalty or life imprisonment with mandatory caning if convicted. Inspector Mohd Zaidi Tahir, the prosecuting officer, confirmed the chemistry report is pending and bail was denied. T he couple was unrepresented in court. In a separate charge, both pleaded not guilty to obstructing police duties by fleeing during an inspection at Anika Apartments, Lorong Pandan, on the same day. They were charged under Section 186 of the Penal Code, punishable by up to two years' jail or a RM10,000 fine.
