Carey Hart apologizes to wife Pink after he's hospitalized: ‘Sorry to everyone I ghosted'
In sickness and in health.
Carey Hart is on the mend after suffering an injury that made him end up in the hospital earlier this week.
The former professional motocross competitor has recently returned to the sport, which led to him getting hurt on Thursday.
'Welp, I ran out of talent. I had a pretty nasty get off, practicing Thursday morning. Landed off a jump, bars knifed, and took the bar to the gut while going over the bars. As I understand it, severed my small intestine from my colon,' he wrote via Instagram.

'I'm fine and will recover from this. Just a big thank you to @feedbigb for talking me into going to the ER, and a huge thanks to @pink. As always does in these situations w/ me, she steps up and takes charge at the hospital. Sorry to put you through this, yet again.'
Hart, 49, added several laughing emojis and shared a carousel of photos from his hospital stay, which included a bathroom selfie that showed staples on his stomach and bandages.
In one sweet photo, the couple's children — daughter Willow, 13, and son Jameson, 8 — sit in the hospital room on their iPad and iPhone as their famous dad is taken care of.

'Thanks Willz and Jamo for coming to visit today. Gonna rest up this week, and start the healing process,' Hart went on in his message. 'Sorry to everyone I ghosted over the last couple days. There was a good reason for it. I'm gonna take a few days off, and I'll catch up with everyone next week.'
Hart previously thanked Pink after he had lower spine disc replacement surgery.
The athlete has also been by Pink's side during health scares. In 2021, she thanked him as she recovered from hip surgery.

Hart, and Pink, 45, married in Costa Rica in 2006 after meeting at the Summer X Games in their 20s. They've endured plenty of ups and downs together, initially splitting in 2003 before reconciling the following year, and announcing a separation in 2008. In 2009, they called off their divorce.
In 2020, the musician — real name Alecia Beth Moore — credited therapy for the success of their marriage.

'When you first get together, you look at that person as your entire world. One person can't be your entire world. You have to have your own passions, your own friends, your own time to yourself. I used to be super needy. Now we expect less of each other, and that allows us to give each other more somehow,' Pink told People in 2021.
Two years later, she gushed that Hart was her 'muse' while accepting the Icon Award at the iHeart Radio Music Awards.
'If he loved me perfectly I would have nothing to say.'

Justin Bieber Shares Summer Vacation Pics With Jack
Justin Bieber has had a pretty rough couple weeks thanks to alllll that drama over Hailey Bieber's Vogue cover, but it looks like he's fully relaxed and in vacation mode. The "Baby" singer hopped on Instagram to share pics from a recent trip, including one of his son Jack riding on his shoulders. And before you ask: Hailey isn't in this latest round of pics—but she did like them, so no need to read into things! Plus, she's in these photos seemingly from the same trip: Justin's vacation comes amid a source spilling about his and Hailey's relationship to the Daily Mail following the singer's Vogue caption drama. "Justin and Hailey get into fights, and Justin goes for the low hanging fruit to try to win arguments, to make Hailey feel bad, and it works," they said. "As much as they are in love, there are plenty of times that they are at each other's throats. Hailey has been mad at him plenty of times, and it will happen again and again. She comes around and forgives him. She will let him do what he needs to do and will accept his apology. The Justin we see now is the Justin that Hailey has seen all along, and she feels like she can always fix him. Good or bad, it is a never ending circle." The insider also dramatically added that "Justin and Hailey treat their relationship like Romeo and Juliet—without the morbid ending. They love hard, they fight hard, and drama often fuels their every move."

People Reveal "Propaganda" They're "Not Falling For"
If you drop a conversational buzzword like conspiracy, universal lie, or overrated...I am INSTANTLY hooked! As long as you don't try to convince me that the world is flat, I eat that stuff the more controversial it gets. So when Reddit user Winter_Sherbet_4247 asked, "What common propaganda are you not falling for?" I had to share some of the responses – the tame AND the unhinged ones. So let's go... Skin care. Work is everything. Having children fulfills people. Trad-wives are anti-feminist. Cops are heroes. Being happy all the time. Therapy. Personal realities are "truth." Organic food. Dairy. A happy childhood involves spoiling. Hype-bosses trying to inspire. Chemicals for grass. Air fryers. Companies controlling your desires and happiness. Seasonal and constantly trending wardrobes. Smart homes are smart. Being "the bigger person." Food colouring causes hyperactivity. Anti-vax. And lastly: "Watevva da orange man says." I have some of my own – like the morning shed, recording multiple videos on your phone during concerts, and minimalism home decor – but tell me the propaganda YOU are not falling for in the comments and if you fall into the niche "dairy propaganda" category. And make sure you follow BuzzFeed Canada on TikTok and Instagram for more!

Real Madrid pays fee to get Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool in time for Club World Cup
Associated Press Real Madrid's decision to pry defender Trent Alexander-Arnold out of his Liverpool contract one month before it expires could pay dividends at the Club World Cup. The Spanish club will pay Liverpool a reported fee of up to 10 million euros ($11 million) to get the England right back on June 1 — rather than for free at the end of the month. That means the 26-year-old Alexander-Arnold — who has agreed on a six-year contract through June 2031 — will be able to play for Xabi Alonso's team at the Club World Cup in the United States starting in mid-June, Madrid announced Friday. The prize for the Club World Cup champion? Up to $125 million. 'Welcome @trentarnold66!' fellow England international Jude Bellingham wrote on Instagram about his new Madrid teammate, accompanied by a photo of the pair. Madrid opens its Club World Cup group stage against Saudi club Al-Hilal on June 18 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Alexander-Arnold had been criticized by some Liverpool fans for having let his contract run down — meaning he could leave as a free agent. But since Alexander-Arnold was still under contract with the Premier League champions until the end of June, Liverpool was able to extract a fee for letting him go early. Special windows Madrid and the other 31 teams playing in the Club World Cup can make early signings under FIFA-approved special trading windows from June 1-10 and again June 27-July 3. Liverpool, which did not qualify for the Club World Cup, confirmed it accepted Madrid's offer for Alexander-Arnold and that it 'will receive a fee for his services, with the deal to be concluded once the window opens on June 1.' Neither club specified the amount. Alexander-Arnold had announced earlier this month that he'd be leaving his boyhood club — with Madrid the expected destination. By its own high standards, Madrid had a disappointing season, finishing runner-up to rival Barcelona despite having signed France star Kylian Mbappe last summer. Madrid hopes that Alexander-Arnold will reinforce a defense that was hammered by injuries this season as the team failed to win a title. The team's announcement noted that he 'can also play in midfield.' Coaching change Alexander-Arnold will join Bellingham on a team that is undergoing a coaching change with Alonso taking over from Carlo Ancelotti. At Liverpool, Alexander-Arnold helped the club win two Premier League titles, a Champions League title and two FA Cup trophies, among other silverware. 'Alexander-Arnold leaves Liverpool FC with the club appreciative and grateful for his contribution to those successes,' the Merseyside club said in a statement. He made 354 appearances for Liverpool and scored 23 goals — but his key attribute is as a provider from the right side, perhaps most famously in the Champions League semifinals in 2019 when his quickly taken corner set up Divock Origi's strike to complete a memorable comeback against Barcelona at Anfield. ___ AP soccer: recommended in this topic
