Emmerdale set for 'explosive' scenes as twisted feuds spark danger and betrayal
There's bound to be hectic, drama-filled and some potentially devastating scenes on Emmerdale in the coming weeks.
Three big families on the show are all at war with each other, and two of those families have feuds rumbling between relatives too. It's nothing new seeing loved ones clash, betrayals spark horror and relationships tested.
But in upcoming scenes there's somewhat of a battle triangle going on. Arguably three of soap's most well known families, the Tates, the Dingles and the Sugdens, are about to feature in an almighty clash.
Tate duo Kim and Joe might have the last laugh though, as it's the other two clans who are at war within their families as well as with other village households. It's certainly a messy time ahead, but how far will they all go?
We can guarantee eventful episodes ahead with tense scenes, probably some humour too while things may even take a dark turn. After all, one resident is causing "mayhem" with more than one villain, while one couple face losing everything if another duo get their own way.
Our soap source teased: "The Dingles, Sugdens and the Tates are three iconic soap families. To be against each other is one thing and will lead to explosive scenes - but for those within the clans to be at war too could lead to all kinds of upset.
"They may band together when times get tough, but they're also quick to turn on one another if they need to. Family code is quickly thrown out of the window where ultimatums and betrayals are concerned."
Robert Sugden in particular could have a tough battle on his hands after his vow to cause carnage recently. Our insider explained: "Robert may need to watch his back. He's crossed both his killer brother John Sugden and iconic village 'villain' Kim Tate. Robert has proven time and time again he's not one to be messed with though, so it's anyone's guess how this latest backstabbing will turn out.
"Robert could find himself the unlucky next victim of John, as he continues desperately in his attempt to expose his brother's dark lies unaware of just who he's messing with. As for Kim, she's got the unpredictable and rather villainous Joe Tate on her side, so perhaps Robert should watch out before creating an enemy of them."
It seems the Tates, for now, could finally have each other's backs with them busy targeting other families. "Kim and Joe have become this dynamic duo, and while they do question each other's loyalties every now and again, they often get a plan in motion and are determined to see it through," our soap expert said. "With Moira Dingle their next target, it's not long before the two families are at war.
"But it sets off a chain of events that cause an implosion of sorts amid the Dingle clan, and some rather close siblings are suddenly locked in a feud. Loyalties are tested, ultimatums are issued and someone gets arrested."
Fans will be used to seeing the Dingles rowing, but might things be irreversible this time? Our soap insider went on: "We've seen the Dingles fall out before, it's nothing new. Their claims of sticking together seem to be selective. But this time, with Sam and wife Lydia possibly choosing the Tates, a known Dingle enemy, over their own family, it could lead to their most explosive family feud yet.
"We know Cain finds it difficult to forgive and forget, and he and Sam can be as stubborn as each other. But if Sam and Lydia form an alliance with Kim despite her and Joe's plans to get Moira's farm, risking her livelihood and her home, we can't imagine Cain letting his go so easily."
It's not just the Dingles turning on each other though, with Victoria Sugden caught in the middle of her brothers John and Robert. Our insider said: "The Sugdens are at war with each other, well Robert and John are. Robert's also risking war with the Tates, who are locked in for battle with the Dingles. So adding the Dingle's feuding with each other into the mix, and we've got ourselves some no doubt fiery, tense and high drama scenes on the way in the coming weeks and months."

Major Emmerdale couple get back together - but heartbreak might follow
When Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) learned about brother Ross (Michael Parr) and Steph Miligan's (Georgia Jay) failed relationship, he decided to play Emmerdale match maker and get them back together. Abi's uncovers more secrets in Corrie - that lead her straight to one man
Abi Webster (Sally Carman) is currently in a dilemma in Coronation Street as she finds herself torn between her husband Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and his brother Carl (Jonathan Howard). Abi and Carl were instantly attracted to each other when they met by chance when he first turned up in Weatherfield, but on finding out he was her brother-in-law, Abi has tried to resist the temptation of Carl. This hasn't stopped him trying, though. Kevin recently got wind that something was either going on or was about to go on between his wife and brother, and in an attempt to make Abi stay with him he pretended that his cancer treatment wasn't working. In reality he'd been given the all-clear. Although Carl found out about Kevin's lie, it was Tyrone (Alan Halsall) who ended up telling Abi as he wanted to stop her worrying Jack (Kyran Bowes) by telling him that Kevin was still ill. Kevin admitted what he'd done and why, but Abi was disgusted by his actions and went straight to Carl, where the two finally gave in to their feelings for each other. Kevin had some ammunition against Carl, though, as he knew that he was involved in a stolen car scam and threatened to go to the police if Carl didn't end things with Abi. Kevin also sacked Carl from the garage and Carl agreed to leave Weatherfield, only for Debbie (Sue Devaney) to persuade him to stay. In upcoming episodes Abi finds herself covering for Kevin as he tells people he's been given the all-clear from his cancer. Coronation Street fans 'work out' who Tia Wardley really is - and it's not Becky
Coronation Street fans think there may be more to the mystery Tia Wardley amid theories it's Lisa Swain's late wife Becky Swain under a new identity on the ITV soap Viewers of Coronation Street think they may have figured out the truth about the mystery Tia Wardley. The name was mentioned on Friday during a scene with Carla Connor and Logan Radcliffe, and it appears 'Tia' is linked to the death of Lisa Swain's late wife Becky Swain. Carla was trying to get answers for partner Lisa from Logan, as he was in the car that killed the police officer in the line of duty. There's still so much confusion over Becky's demise and what happened prior to the event, and at the time. It comes following suggestion Becky was a corrupt officer, and that this could have led to her being killed - while this has often been downplayed. So when Carla demanded answers from Logan just as Lisa was snooping in Becky's files at the police station, she was intrigued when Logan gave her the name 'Tia Wardley'. There was no context and when Carla did some digging, she found nothing. It has to be important though, as it left Logan in danger later on when a cellmate told him he'd upset a "mutual friend" by saying too much. Logan insisted he'd said nothing but his cell door was closed, implying he was facing a beating or worse to be silenced. So what has Logan said with that one name, and why is Tia so relevant to the case and Becky's death? Amid theories it could be Becky's new identity and she's still alive, other fans have come up with a new idea. Fans think the name might not be a person, but maybe a place or even a code name. They suggested it could be an anagram or just a code for something else. From a building to a location or area, fans think Tia means something and it's linked to what led to Becky dying. Taking to social media, one fan theorised: "Wardley is a suburb of Salford where #Corrie is set. Just saying!" Another fan said: "Walk with me... what if it's not Tia (woman) but T.I.A. (a dodgy company) in Wardley.. Like summat, summat & Associates - Wardley? A shady accounting front for laundering? Becky found out. Costello tried to protect her by framing her, but the OCG had her [killed]?" Other fans thought it was a person, but still was not Becky. A viewer posted: "What if Becky had an affair with Tia Wardley?" Another said: "I wanna know who this tia is. Did Becky have an affair with tia behind Lisa's back?"
