Tense feud between Noel and Liam Gallagher's kids resurface after Oasis reunion

Tense feud between Noel and Liam Gallagher's kids resurface after Oasis reunion

Daily Mirror7 hours ago
Noel and Liam Gallagher were at loggerheads for years, and their sibling feud even roped in their children, who came to blows on social media before rekindling their bond
Noel and Liam Gallagher's feud wasn't just between the two siblings – their children also got involved. Over the years, the two Oasis icons became engaged in a bitter spat after Noel sensationally quit the legendary band in 2009, saying he couldn't work with his little brother anymore.
Since then, the two Manchester legends wasted no time in taking aim at one another on social media and in media interviews, with Liam, 52, often referring to Noel as his "little brother" despite his sibling being six years older than him.

Over the years, fans believed that there would never be a moment when Oasis would appear as a united front again, despite both Noel and Liam expressing an interest.

But it wasn't just Noel and Liam who argued, their tense spat even saw their children getting involved, making sly digs at one another on social media. Most famously, Noel's daughter, model and photographer Anaïs, and Liam's youngest son, singer Gene. While the pair now have a good relationship, this wasn't always the case.
While Gene and Anais have since deactivated their Twitter accounts, screenshots of their feud have been recirculating in recent days after the first Oasis concerts this weekend in Cardiff. One tweet by Anaïs saw her take aim at her uncle Liam, saying: "He didn't even write the tunes as you were AG x," using Liam's famous "as you were LG," sign-off, which he uses on social media.
Anaïs later took to Instagram to fume on her stories: "I hate the type of human who says 'as you were' at the end of a sentence," with a waving hand emoji. Gene, however, was far from impressed as he said on his own Stories: "I hate the type of humans who r verified for doing f**k all.." with a waving hands emoji.
He later said on his now-deleted Twitter page: "Who is Anaïs Gallagher? People keep sending me things about how she tries to roast my dad, hmmm must be another NGHFB fan account," alongside eight snake emojis.

Gene, the frontman of the band Villanelle, followed up with: "Lol when ur a f***ing nobody and try and get in on celebrity drama." These, however, are not the only times Gene took aim at his cousin.
Reflecting on Anaïs' modelling career, he said on Twitter: "Firstly u look like ur dad with a blonde wig on..." Before adding: "Secondly, u model coz u look like ur dad not coz of who u are nobody care about who u are lmao." Nowadays though, things have calmed down between the cousins.

In 2017, Anais tweeted: "I need love today. I'm feeling super fragile and basically need a boyfriend. But keep reminding myself I'm too embarrassing to get one!" Lennon hit back: "Really?" But this isn't all, Gene lashed out at his cousin, who attended a London Fashion Week event that he branded a "celebrity-driven, posh rubbernecking, kids culture club."
In 2023, they were the picture of happiness as they, along with Gene's older brother Lennon, attended the Chanel fashion show in Manchester and posed for a family snap with footballer Rúben Dias, hinting that the tense feud between the Gallaghers had finally come to an end.

This weekend, as Oasis returned to the stage for the first time in 16 years, they were even happier as Gene and Anaïs hugged one another for a family snap. The pair were seen embracing one another in the sound deck of Cardiff's Principality Stadium as they watched their dads perform to 74,500 fans.
The image was accompanied by a snap of the cousins, who were much younger hugging in the same way, with Gene wearing a Disney character onsie as his older cousin wrapped her arms around him. This weekend, they delighted fans by sharing a video of them both belting out Cigarettes and Alcohol watching Noel and Liam – finally cementing the end of the family feud in the most biblical way.

Made In Chelsea Thailand: When Does Series 30 Start And Why Are Some Fan Favourites Missing?

After a typically dramatic spring season of Made in Chelsea, the SW3 residents must be in desperate need of another working holiday. So in true The White Lotus style, they've all headed off to the five star Avani and Khao Lak resort in Thailand to kick off series 30, which means it won't be long before the show returns to our screens. From our social media sleuthing, we can see that a few cast favourites were missing from the trip, and a few exes were looking quite cosy too. Here's what we know so far about series 30 of the hit E4 reality show, from potential start date to storylines and new cast members... We don't know exactly when series 30 of Made in Chelsea will air, but following past scheduling patterns, it is likely to arrive at the beginning of September. Each series starts with a group holiday to a luxurious location, with past series seeing the cast fly to Mauritius, the Maldives, Australia, Ibiza and Bali, to name a few, and this summer they are all in Thailand. They will then return to Chelsea for their usual antics and lavish social lives. Fans can expect to see E4 mainstays like Tristan Phipps, Jules Pollard, David 'Temps' Temple, Jazz Saunders, Freddie Knatchbull and Yasmine Zweegers. It will also see the return of Freddie's ex, Beks Collins, as well as last season newbie Arman PK. It looks like Sam Prince did not join the cast in Thailand, but he seems to have been filming with Reza Amiri-Garroussi back in London. Ruby Adler was also noticeably absent, instead posting photos of her trip to Greece on Instagram. Likewise newlyweds Sam Vanderpump and Alice Yaxley were nowhere to be seen on the holiday, but it's likely they will still be part of the show from home. Of course, it wouldn't be a new season of Made in Chelsea without a few new faces. Most notably, former Love Island star Chuggs has made a bold return to the show, after briefly dipping in and out a few times over the years. He's been hanging out in Thailand with Jules and Tristan, so we are likely to see him join the fold for the rest of series 30 too. Joining Yasmine and Beks' squad is 24-year-old Molly Paradice, who runs her own jewellery line and has joined the cast of the E4 show. They are also good friends with Olly Claxton Newman, who is also new to the show and joining the cast on their Thai getaway. As for plot predictions, by the looks of Yasmine's rekindled friendships with Temps, and Jules and Tristan, it looks as though her will-they-won't-they with Sam Prince might be over. Best friends Jazz and Jules are still very much joined at the hip, and Jazz has been sure to shout out her girlfriend Demi Simms from the beach in Thailand, honouring her with a post to celebrate London Pride by wearing a t-shirt that says 'I love my hot girlfriend'. It's unclear whether there is anything romantic going on between Beks and Freddie again, but at least Tristan and Jules are still going strong too. Building The Band: What We Know About The Netflix Show Starring The Late Singer Liam Payne

A new Netflix show Building The Band will star the late Liam Payne, who was a guest judge on the show. One Direction star Liam tragically died in October last year age 31, when he fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. At the time, Liam's family issued a statement following his death which read: 'We are heartbroken. Liam will forever live in our hearts and we'll remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul. We are supporting each other the best we can as a family and ask for privacy and space at this awful time.' Before he died, he filmed the competition series Building The Band, which has been dubbed a 'music experiment.' The show follows 50 singers who want to start a a band - but there's a twist. The contestants go in blind, and will discover their ideal bandmates based on what they sound like, their compatibility and their connection. However, not everyone will make the cut. The 50 contestants will be whittled down to six bands, and then one winner. As the Netflix synopsis teases, the show promises 'Plenty of drama, next level artistry and unforgettable performances.' Think of it as a mixture between Love Is Blind and The Voice. The filming for Building the Band took place in 2024, with filming wrapping in August. The three live shows were also filmed in late August at Aviva Studios in Manchester. The show's executive producer Cat Lawson said ahead of filming last year: 'Building the Band is a brave and bold undertaking for all involved as we hand over power to the singers themselves to form their own band based on chemistry first. With looks out of the equation, can they create a deeper connection with their bandmates? With limited bands, there are difficult decisions and heart-stopping moments along the way, but ultimately the outcome is truly amazing, with bands forming who in my opinion are worthy of the very biggest stage!' Liam Payne's involvement in the show was first announced last August, just two months before he died. The show has a total of ten episodes, and Liam will only appear from episode seven onwards. He is joined on the judging panel by Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger and Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland. The show is hosted by the Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean will host. Netflix said in a press release this week that Liam's family had given their blessings for the show to go ahead. They said his family had 'reviewed the series and [was] supportive of his inclusion.' Before the show starts, the show's host AJ will share an emotional tribute to Liam on screen. 'When we came together to film Building The Band, we never imagined we'd soon be saying goodbye to our friend, Liam Payne. Liam is a guest judge in later episodes and through his presence we see his deep love for music and his unwavering commitment to helping others find their voice,' he says. 'It is through that spirit that we dedicate this series to Liam and his family.' Tributes have also been flooding in online for Liam ahead of the show's launch. When Netflix shared the trailer on X, a fan commented: 'I'm glad it's still being released,' adding 'This way we can still see Liam's genuine love for music and helping people.' Another fan commented: 'Heartbreaking to see Liam Payne in this posted. It's going to be his final project forever. I'm going to be crying my eyes out watching this show.' The first four episodes will air on 9 July. Then, fans will have to wait a week or so for episodes 5, 6 and 7, which drop on July 16, 2025, followed by the final three episodes on July 23, 2025.
