Carey Hart Thanks Wife Pink After ‘Severing Small Intestine From Colon' In Gruesome Injury: See Photo

Yahoo18-05-2025

Carey Hart thanked his wife Pink for her support after a gruesome injury where he 'severed [his] small intestine from his colon.'
'Welp, I ran out of talent,' the motocross and off-road truck racer, 49, joked via Instagram on Saturday, May 17. 'I had a pretty nasty get off, practicing [motocross] Thursday morning. Landed off a jump, bars knifed, and took the bar to the gut while going over the bars. As I understand it, severed my small intestine from my colon. I'm fine and will recover from this.'
Hart shared a carousel of photos from the aftermath of his injury, including showing off a bandage that runs from above his navel to the bottom of his stomach. He credited his good friend, musician Big B, with 'talking [him] into going to the ER' after his accident.
'A huge thanks to @pink,' he added. 'As [she] always does in these situations w/ me, she steps up and takes charge at the hospital. Sorry to put you through this, yet again 🤣. Thanks [children] Willz and Jamo for coming to visit today.'

He then vowed, 'Gonna rest up this week, and start the healing process. ***sorry to everyone I ghosted over the last couple days. There was a good reason for it 🤣🤣. I'm gonna take a few days off, and I'll catch up with everyone next week.'
Hart received numerous well-wishes for a speedy recovery from many of his famous friends, including getting encouragement from his Special Forces: World's Toughest Test costar Trista Sutter.
'Thank God you're ok!!!! That scar is one for the Carey Hart story book,' Sutter joked via Instagram.
Sutter and Hart's fellow Special Forces costar Kyla Pratt offered her support as well, writing, 'Omg Carey wtf 😭😣 be careful man. Speedy Recovery.'
The motocross star was forced to withdraw from Fox's Special Forces on medical grounds earlier this year after slipping on a speed bump in the mud during a challenge. He later exclusively told Us Weekly that it was disappointing to break the news about his injury to Pink, 45.
'I FaceTimed her that night. At the moment I got hurt, it was probably around midnight,' he told Us. 'So by the time I made it back to the hotel and got my phone out of the safe and all the things, it was probably 3 o'clock in the morning U.K. time.'
He went on, 'She'd known the period of the time of the show and probably in the back of her mind, she knows anytime my phone's going to ring before that last day, I'm going to be [hurt]. So her initial [reaction] — she was wide-eyed, kind of white as a ghost, asking, 'Are you alright?' And I'm like, 'Yeah, it's just my old body.''
Hart called his Special Forces injury 'so dumb' and admitted he was entirely to blame for the mishap.
Celebrity Health Scares Through the Years
'It's my own fault that that happened. We were running this brutal workout through the mud holes and into the splash pond and all these things,' he told Us. 'It was absolutely freezing outside. I got hurt because I wasn't paying attention,' '
Hart continued, 'In the prior exercises, we had to do two laps around the compound and back into the square. Well, in that certain situation, I think that was the second or third round — [and] I'm not a great runner. The DS said, 'OK, go out, do one loop around and pull back in.' I wasn't paying attention. I went for the full two laps. Well, it was the second lap I actually tripped. … So had I been paying attention, I would've advanced and not been in that situation.'
Influencer Kayla Nicole and Brody Jenner were the only Special Forces celebrity contestants to pass the grueling selection process during season three.
Pink and Hart tied the knot at the Four Seasons hotel and resort in Costa Rica in January 2007. They share two children — Willow Sage, born 2011, and Jameson, born 2016.

The shady way Adrian from MAFS Australia responded to ex Awhina's relationship with Billy

Married At First Sight Australia might be over, but drama from the most recent season still lingers. For those who followed series nine, you'll remember Adrian Araouzo and Awhina Rutene were initially paired together, as were Billy Belcher and Sierah Swepstone. However, you'll also know that neither relationship lasted, and both couples went their separate ways. (Billy felt betrayed when Sierah attended an evening meal with Adrian and fellow MAFS contestant Tony Mojanovski behind his back, while Awhina and Adrian had a commitment ceremony, but broke up before their Final Vows.) And to ramp up the drama even more, MAFS sleuths will be aware of the dating rumours between Awhina and Billy that have been flying around for months. While we can now report that the pair are official, after claiming they were "just friends" the entire time, Adrian has since entered the chat with a shady response to the relationship. Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle, he said he had "no clue" what Billy and Awhina are doing. But if their relationship is serious, "good luck to them." Adrian then said he "hopes it's legit," because otherwise it would be "a bit embarrassing to act like a couple just for likes and attention." He continued: "I don't understand all these games certain couples are playing. If you're with someone and happy, put it out to the world [and] be proud you guys are together. Otherwise, keep it private until it's official." He then followed up by wishing them both "nothing but happiness and a healthy, successful relationship." As it stands, Awhina and Billy look super loved up. And from their joint Instagram official post, they seem to be in it for the long haul. On Friday, they shared a carousel of some recent moments, from a sweet mirror selfie to a romantic date night. The pair captioned the post: "I'll keep this one 🤭." Err, cute.

Former Disney star Christy Carlson Romano reveals shocking details about nearly losing her eye after being shot in face

Christy Carlson Romano is speaking out about nearly losing an eye after she was shot in the face four months ago. During an appearance on the upcoming June 10 episode of the 'Not a Damn Chance!' podcast, via a sneak peek by People magazine, the 41-year-old former Disney star recalled the terrifying incident while she was shooting clay pigeons with her husband, Brendan Rooney, for his birthday. Asked how it happened, Romano explained she was not 'at liberty to say specifics,' according to People. The actress previously revealed on Instagram that she was 'hit in five places,' including below her eye. Romano shared details for the first time about what transpired. 'It's a birdshot that got sprayed in my direction by another party, and essentially it was within 200 feet, which means really fast and hot,' she told hosts Neen Williams and Frankland Lee. 'They weren't malicious,' Romano clarified. 'It wasn't aggravated assault. It's what happened.' The 'Even Stevens' star then emphasized the importance of gun safety and described her initial response. 4 Christy Carlson Romano sits in the hospital after being shot in the face at a party in February, 2025. 'I feel very out of body about it. … It's pretty wild,' she said. 'I'm shocked, and what goes through my head immediately is, 'Oh that's dope, I just got shot.' And then I go, 'Oh now I'm gonna die,'' she said. 'I take a knee. My husband witnessed it and was like, 'Hey are you hit?' because I didn't scream. I didn't do anything. I was just out of body.' Romano recalled she had a knee-jerk reaction upon being shot that stemmed from her time on the third season of the FOX reality TV series 'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test.' 4 The actress previously revealed on Instagram that she was 'hit in five places,' including below her eye. Romano explained that the contestants were trained to give a thumbs-up to let their fellow cast members know that they were OK during the series' perilous challenges. The 'Kim Possible' alum recalled that, out of habit, she gave Rooney a thumbs-up immediately after she was shot. 'He was like, 'Oh, you're good.' And I was like, 'No I'm hit.' He goes, 'Oh s—,'' Romano recalled of her husband's reaction. She remembered that Rooney rushed to her aid and had to restrain himself from retaliating against the other party. 4 Christy Carlson Romano and Hillary Duff in a scene from 'Cadet Kelly.' ©Disney Channel/Courtesy Everett Collection 'So, he's running to me and making sure I'm OK, and he's fighting the urge to hurt the person … but he's been practicing stoicism recently, and there was something in him,' Romano recalled. 'He was immediately into action mode, evaluating me and ran to get the car. 'I felt this huge rush that I'd never felt before where I was starting to get really woozy. I think it was shock.' Romano told the hosts she didn't experience any pain initially and described the thoughts that were running through her head, including her fears her children might be affected. The actress shares daughters Isabella, 7, and Sofia, 5, with Rooney. 'I was covered in blood from my forehead … and I said three things. I was like, 'Am I gonna die? Who's gonna take care of the girls? Is my career over?'' she recalled. Romano explained that she came close to being blinded or killed. 'If my head would've been tilted in any other direction, I would have been blind in my right eye. Or if I had turned my head, I could have gotten hit in a softer side of my skull, and I would have potentially been dead,' Romano said. 'It's still in my eye,' she said of the pellets from the shotgun. 'I have a fragment still in my forehead, and I have a fragment still behind my eye, which is 1 millimeter away from blinding me.' Romano previously explained on Instagram that the lead fragment behind her eye had to remain in her face because removing it could leave her blind. 4 Christy Carlson Roman poses for a picture during a family trip to Disneyland in May 2025. Christy Carlson Romano/Instagram The shot fragment lodged in her skull will also remain in place because doctors said it will expedite her healing process. During her podcast interview, Romano told hosts she put on a brave face at first and was making jokes about her medical crisis after she arrived at the hospital. 'In retrospect, I was trying to be funny and not cry because I wanted the people around me to feel more calm so that they could take better care of me,' Romano said. The former Broadway star admitted that it has been difficult to accept she is a 'gunshot survivor.' Clay pigeon shooting is an outdoor sport in which upside-down circular disks made of limestone and pitch used as targets are propelled into the air by machines called traps. Shooters use shotguns, with each shot projecting hundreds of small lead balls to hit the clay pigeons. The sport is typically not considered dangerous as long as safety measures are follow.

Hough went into greater detail in a lengthy caption accompanying the video, thanking Dr. Carolyn Alexander and her team at Southeast Crescent Regional Commission, which specializes in fertility care and helping to create families, according to its website. 'Navigating fertility is never simple, especially with endometriosis and my own personal timeline and hopes around having children… but with them, I've always felt safe, supported and fully informed,' she wrote, adding that this was now her third round of egg freezing.'I know it's not always the most comfortable thing to talk about, let alone share publicly. But I've realized how important it is to open up about these things,' she continued. 'Women all over the world are quietly walking into doctors' offices, making huge, brave decisions about their bodies and their futures.' Hough described the process as "one of the most vulnerable experiences… physically, emotionally, and for sure hormonally." She further reflected on why she wanted to be so transparent with her fans. 'If sharing just a small piece of my journey helps someone feel less alone, or inspires them to ask questions and explore what's right for them, then I feel like it's worth it,' she wrote. In a 2020 interview with Women's Health, Hough shared that her endometriosis — which is a reproductive condition in which uterine tissue grows outside of the uterus, causing cramping and chronic pain — made her want to freeze her eggs. 'I think the healthier I am from the inside out — as far as my beliefs, my energy, what I'm putting into my body — the better prepared I'll be when the time comes,' she said at the time, when she was married to Brooks Laich. 'We never actually tried to get pregnant. It was more of a precautionary measure: Let's do our due diligence for the future by freezing eggs.' Hough ended her June 7 post by once again thanking her medical team for their unwavering care. 'I truly couldn't be more grateful for this team who's been with me since my second endometriosis laparoscopy surgery back in 2017… they've been like family ever since 💛,' she wrote. Her post received an overwhelming amount of support from celebrities and fans alike, who applauded her for being so open.
