Ajay Devgn's Son Of Sardaar 2 was all set to arrive in cinemas on July 25 but nobody expected Mohit Suri's Saiyaara to smash records at the box-office. It has collected Rs 45 crore in two days and now Devgn has postponed the film by a week and it will now release on August 1.
Chunky Panday's nephew Ahaan Panday made a sensational debut alongside another fresh face Aneet Padda with Saiyaara. The love story, which released yesterday, opened to a thunderous response and earned Rs 21.25 crore on its first day.
As Ahaan, who followed his uncle Chunky Panday's & cousin Ananya Panday's footsteps, has been garnering love and praises for his performance, the Housefull 5's Instagram post, where he took a dig at the 'Kapoors and Khans' of Bollywood, has gone viral.
The post, which featured the pictures of Chunky Panday, Ananya Panday and Ahaan Panday, read the caption, 'In a world of Kapoors and Khans, Pandays came out of syllabus."
Several users shared their reactions in Reddit's comment section. While one wrote, 'I mean, Pandays indeed came out of the syllabus. No one could've predicted that Chunky Panday's daughter will have a better career than SRK's daughter and Chunky Panday's nephew will have a better first movie than Amitabh's grandson!" Another commented, 'These nepos should take out each other. That is the drama I am here for."

Archana Puran Singh defends nepotism, says star kids have ‘professional ethics': ‘Bollywood people prefer to work with actors from film families'
The debate around nepotism in Bollywood shows no signs of dying down. Every now and then, a celebrity adds their voice to the conversation that's been going on for years. Archana Puran Singh recently started the discussion again on her YouTube channel during a conversation with actor Ajay Devgn. Archana's sons, Aaryamann and Ayushmaan, are aspiring actors, and Ajay's nephew Aaman Devgan recently made his debut in his home production Azaad, with Raveena Tandon's daughter Rasha Thadani. Archana, sharing her perspective, defended the practice of nepotism and said that star kids have a 'sense of professional ethics.' She said, 'One of the reasons people in the film industry prefer to work with actors from film families is because when your parents are already part of the industry, they instil a sense of professional ethics in you from the beginning.' Ajay Devgn, whose late father Veeru Devgan was an action director, agreed and said that star kids learn from their environment. 'You get to learn a lot from growing up in that environment. But sometimes, people come in, and I'm not generalising, as there are many sensible outsiders. However, some don't understand the difference between wanting to be an actor and wanting to be a star. You can't become a star on Day One. You have to first learn how to act. That's where some confusion begins. People outside the industry often think this business operates in a certain way, but it's not like that. In the end, it all comes down to your hard work,' he said. The actor's comments come amid a wave of star kids making their Bollywood debuts. This year, many star kids, including Junaid Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Khushi Kapoor, made their theatrical debuts. Ahaan Panday also made his theatrical debut with Saiyaara, which is on its way to becoming the biggest hit of the year. His uncle Chunky Panday was a popular actor in the 1980s, and his cousin Ananya is one of the most popular actors in Bollywood currently. His parents – Chikki and Deanne Panday – have considerable connections in the Hindi film industry.

Rajinikanth once made the headlines when he recalled a past memory of being ridiculed by a producer and his journey to success. Now, the superstar's fan has recreated the moment, expressing her joy as a fangirl. Rajinikanth's fan recreates the superstar's iconic moment Taking to her social media handle, Ramya Raman said, 'Bought new car. Took it to Thalaivar home. I kept the keys close to the magical name that has always inspired me to think beyond. And the car number is 5004... yes Thalaivars first car number.' 'Foreign car eduthutu... ithe kodambakkam roadla moment... endrum Thalaivar Vazhiyil (Taking my foreign car and the Kodambakkam road moment. Always in Thalaivar's path). And took delivery from the same person who gave X7 delivery to Thalaivar, shamelessly asked them. Inspired, blessed,' she added. See the fan's post with pictures: When Rajinikanth was insulted by a producer For those unaware, Rajinikanth once recalled an insulting moment in his life during the Darbar audio launch. Speaking at the event, the superstar narrated how he was offered a positive character in another actor's movie, and a remuneration of Rs 6000 was finalized. The actor who wasn't a superstar at that time agreed to the salary and asked for Rs 100 or 200 as an advance. However, the producer refrained from paying the amount and assured it would be given to him on the day of shoot. On the first day of shoot, Rajinkanth was asked to put on his makeup, but refused to apply it until an advance was paid. The actor said, 'The production manager told me that the hero had arrived and asked me to sit for makeup. I refused. I told him that I wouldn't proceed without getting Rs 1000.' Knowing this, the producer became furious and insulted Rajinikanth, refusing to give him a role in the movie and making the actor walk home all by himself. The superstar added, 'That was when I realized that if I do not come back to AVM Studios in a foreign car, then I am not Rajinikanth.' Concluding his words of motivation, the Coolie actor revealed how he fulfilled the promise to himself, appearing at the same AVM Studios in his Italian Fiat with the numberplate 5004, smoking a cigarette and looking regal.
