Jessica Alba's mystery man was just revealed — he's a Miami guy. Here's the scoop

Miami Heralda day ago
Who's that guy?
When paparazzi pictures emerged of Jessica Alba looking cozy with a brown-haired gentleman in a London park back in May, people were left scratching their heads.
The individual in the blurry photos was wearing a cap and kept his face turned away from the camera, so it was hard to tell.
'They were hugging and holding hands as they walked through the park together,' an insider told UK's The Sun. 'They rented out some deck chairs and they were sitting on them kissing.'
Now we know the mystery man's identity, thanks to the investigative team over at TMZ.
Alba, 44, was photographed coming back from a Cancun vacation headed to LAX Sunday with none other than actor Danny Ramirez, 32.
The Chicago native is best known as Lieutenant Mickey 'Fanboy' Garcia in 'Top Gun: Maverick' and Joaquin Torres/Falcon in 'Captain America.' Like his Marvel character (the first Latino Avenger), Ramirez was raised in the 305.
Ramirez moved to Miami at a young age and attended Pitbull's alma mater Coral Park Senior High School in the Westchester area. He was a big Hurricanes fan growing up, he told Jimmy Kimmel in 2022, while throwing up the 'U' with his hands.
As per his official website, Ramirez played soccer at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, before being sidelined by an injury and pivoting into acting. His first role was as an extra for 2012's political thriller 'The Reluctant Fundamentalist,' which was shooting on the field next to his soccer team.
Ramirez is a frequent visitor to his hometown and we saw him at the Miami Grand Prix at Hard Rock Stadium last year. So we'll keep an eye out for Alba going forward.
The Honest Company founder filed for divorce from her husband, Cash Warren, after almost two decades together in January. The exes share custody of their three children.
'We are moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be family,' the 'Dark Angel' star wrote in a statement at the time. 'Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time.'

Nathan Fillion Shares the Heartwarming Story Behind His DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE Role as Headpool — GeekTyrant

Nathan Fillion may have recently stolen the spotlight as Guy Gardner in Superman , but his ties to comic book movies run deep, and not just in the DCU. Over in the Marvel world, Fillion has already played multiple roles, with his biggest MCU moment coming in Deadpool & Wolverine as the fan-favorite floating head, Headpool. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Fillion revealed how his friendship with Ryan Reynolds led to the hilarious cameo, and why it was years in the making. Fillion said: "I was actually in the first Deadpool. My scene got cut out. You'll have to remember I was filming Castle at the time. It had to be a very small part, and I requested that I be unrecognizable. It's in a deleted scenes thing. I think you can get it if you buy the movie digitally." That original cameo saw Fillion briefly appear as a towel guy at the strip club where Morena Baccarin's Vanessa worked. Unfortunately, it never made it to the theatrical cut. Still, Reynolds tried to make it up to him. "He asked me to come in and audition for something in the second Deadpool, which was very generous of him. 'We're still in touch. He's a very generous man, and he's very interested in sharing the wealth, honestly. He's got so many incredible opportunities, and he likes to remember his friends and spread those opportunities around." By the time Deadpool & Wolverine rolled around, Reynolds was determined to get Fillion involved, this time for real. "Ryan would text me and say, 'Hey, would you do me a favor?' Like I'm doing him a favor. We recorded a bunch of different stuff. We started at one character, then we moved over to being Headpool, and then we were futzing the jokes." Fillion continued: "We did a lot of stuff that never made it to the movie, but then there came a day where they asked me to go down the street and record it in an official recording booth." That led to one of Fillion's favorite compliments of his career. "Shawn Levy, the director, called me just before I was about to leave the house and he said, 'We're all listening to your recordings that you sent us, and we don't really see any reason to rerecord these.' I considered it a real compliment that my recording booth was movie quality." Whether we'll see the Deadpool Corps again remains a mystery, though rumors suggest they could pop up in Avengers: Doomsday or Secret Wars . For now, Headpool might be a one-and-done for Fillion, but his comic book journey isn't slowing down. He's set to return as Guy Gardner in Peacemaker season 2 and HBO's upcoming Lanterns series.

Taylor Swift Reportedly Withdraws To Dad's Side Following His Heart Surgery

always makes time for family matters! The pop star reportedly dropped everything to stick by her father, Scott Swift's, side as he recuperates from a heart surgery he went in for last month. Taylor Swift has enjoyed immeasurable support from her father and mother, Andrea Swift, since her career picked up nearly two decades ago. He made several cameos at her recently concluded Eras Tour. Taylor Swift's Dad Is Doing Great In Recovery The 73-year-old was rushed in for a crucial heart surgery after a routine checkup where the doctor advised him to go for a timely procedure. The quintuple procedure reportedly happened about a month ago, and Taylor was joined by her mom and brother, Austin, to offer moral and emotional support to the stockbroker. Sources close to the singer clarified to TMZ that the surgery did not happen due to the heart attack he experienced, but it just needed to be done. Scott's quintuple bypass is performed on patients with blockages in the major arteries that supply the heart with blood. According to Regimen Healthcare, the procedure involves taking blood vessels from a part of the body and transplanting them into the affected heart vessels to reroute the blood supply and bypass the blocked arteries. Inside The Early Years Of The Singer's Tightly Knit Family Scott and Andrea were pivotal to Taylor's success story, as they helped nurture her talent from a young age. "She was always singing music when she was 3, 5, 6, 7 years old. It's Taylor doing what she likes to do," Scott noted. According to PEOPLE, her mom once shared that they needed to become a safe space for the singer as soon as she started making a name for herself, which explains their involvement in her career to date. The pair married in 1988 and welcomed Taylor a year later in 1989. Three years later, she got a sibling, Austin, and together they grew up on a 15-acre Christmas tree farm in Pennsylvania. The family relocated to Nashville after Taylor signed a deal with Sony at the age of 14, and from there, she debuted on the big stage at the Grand Ole Opry as a country act in 2006. Since Scott and Andrea had a solid background in the professional world, Taylor once shared that her name did not come by accident. In a 2009 interview with Rolling Stone, she revealed that her parents chose a fluid name, "Taylor," to lower the risk of discrimination in the corporate world. Early in her career, the singer noted that her mom would drive her to Nashville and even share demos of her musicians with the public. Taylor Swift Has Also Been Dealing With A Stalker The billionaire is equally as passionate about her family as they are about her, and even in the darkest moments of her life, their safety remains her priority. She recently secured an extension to an existing restraining order against a stalker earlier in the month in a bid to protect her loved ones. As reported by The Blast, the extended order remains in place until July 21, after which a decision will be made on whether to make it permanent or not. Taylor initially requested that her stalker be ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from her home and vehicle. Taylor was heartbroken by the reality that privacy stands the risk of being compromised by weird fans, but she also understands that it comes with the job. She has also decided not to lose sleep about it as she "can't stress about it more than she already does." Taylor's legal team, in their petition against the stalker identified as Jason Brian Wagner, provided evidence of disturbing texts from him, in which he referred to her as his "wife" and asked to accompany her to the "Golden Globes Awards." The Grammy Winner Made Her Red Carpet Debut With Boyfriend, Travis Kelce In more exciting news, Taylor and her NFL beau, Travis, made their first-ever red carpet appearance as a couple at the Tight End University opening night in Nashville last month. The artist had such a swell time at the event that she performed her hit song "Shake It Off" on an acoustic guitar in front of an impromptu audience who adored the performance. The singer reportedly approached singer Kane Brown on stage, requesting his guitar, and took his band through a brief tutorial of the right notes to play for the song. Her boyfriend also gave an excellent review of the performance in an episode of his "New Heights" podcast with former Eagles player Jason Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end noted that her connection with Nashville as an essential place in her career made it easy for her to let loose and give the audience a well-deserved show. Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Took A Trip To His Hometown The celebrity couple appeared hand in hand in Travis' hometown of Ohio, earlier in the month, after an eventful June. The performer's latest trip to the Cleveland suburb marked the third time she had visited the area since joining his family for a game in 2023. This time, the couple had a timeout at JoJo's Bar in Chagrin Falls for a quick bite alongside tons of memories about Kelce's family and the restaurant. The footballer's mom, Donna Kelce, reportedly fancied the Italian-American steakhouse, which opened in 2021, and was a regular customer. The singer first came to Cleveland in 2018 when she was on the "Reputation" tour, but could not extend the same favor for her Eras Tour. Either way, Taylor and Travis reportedly had a great time at the establishment. Solve the daily Crossword

Tom Holland Explains Why 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' Will Be a ‘Breath of Fresh Air'

When it comes to Marvel movies and the expectations of fans to find spoilers, they typically aren't high. Even putting spoilers aside, Marvel has been notorious for keeping virtually all aspects of upcoming movies, including storylines and details about filming, under wraps. This is why it was surprising to hear the latest comments from longtime Spider-Man star Tom Holland. While Holland either got the go-ahead from the studio to reveal a fun tidbit or went rogue with it, fans have to feel like it's a win to hear anything about Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Not only did Holland explain how the new Spider-Man will take an "old school filmmaking" approach, but he also said he's confident fans will be "over the moon" with the results. Holland's comments were made during an interview with Flip Your Wig, and the clip was posted on Instagram. 'We were really restricted with what we could do in the last movie because of COVID. We shot the entire film on stages," Holland admitted. "Now, we're really gonna lean into that old school filmmaking and shoot in real locations." "We are gonna use the streets of Glasgow for this massive set piece that we are putting gonna feel like a breath of fresh air, and I think the fans are gonna be over the moon with what we're putting together.' Holland's comments are noteworthy for several reasons, as he offers insight into the previous film, Spider-Man: No Way Home, as well as the upcoming addition to the series. While Holland didn't provide much in the way of spoilers about Spider-Man: Brand New Day, he gave fans another jolt of adrenaline and excitement about what lies ahead. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is slated to hit theaters on July 31, 2026, and will also feature Jon Bernthal's The Punisher in the Holland Explains Why 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' Will Be a 'Breath of Fresh Air' first appeared on Men's Journal on Jul 14, 2025 Solve the daily Crossword
