BBC EastEnders star breaks silence after leaving soap
Now, he has opened up on the leaving, and spoken on what may come next.
When is Bobby Brazier leaving EastEnders?
Bobby's character Freddie was conceived on the show in late 2003, to mother Little Mo Mitchell.
In May 2006, Freddie was admitted to hospital with bleeding on the brain, and the character left Walford on May 26, 2006, with his mother, in an effort to start a new life in Devon.
Freddie returned in November 2022, which was Brazier's welcome to the BBC soap in what was his acting debut.
His portrayal as Freddie won him the Rising Star at the 28th National Television Awards.
However, despite his departure being revealed previously, he is not due to leave the show until later this year.
A TV insider told The Sun that EastEnders bosses met with Bobby at a time when he was already thinking about making his exit.

They added: 'The timing of the decision worked for both, but his final scenes are not for a while yet.
'The character has had a great run, but the time is now right for Bobby to look for other opportunities, and for EastEnders to wave goodbye to Freddie Slater.'
Bobby Brazier breaks silence on leaving EastEnders
Speaking to OK Magazine, the young actor has opened up on what life may be like after his exit on the BBC soap.
He said: "I don't know, I guess that's how it really goes and how it works in this industry. You never really know what's next until you go in for it.
"But yeah, I'd like to play a variety of different roles so I can work out what I like, what I'm good at, what I'm not good at and what I need to work on.
'I'd like to learn and study and also relax a little bit."

Bobby is not the only star to leave the show this year.
Molly Rainford, known for playing Queen Vic barmaid Anna Knight on the BBC soap, will be leaving the soap.
Clair Norris, who plays Bernie Taylor, has also left the show after eight years.
In March, it was revealed that Matthew James Morrison's time as Felix Baker was coming to an end.
One of the biggest departures of the year was Natalie Cassidy, who played Sonia Fowler in EastEnders, and left the show after 32 years.

Speaking about her exit, she said: 'It felt very final but also very good. It's a nice place to leave Sonia after so much has happened to her.
'Sonia feels like she's never going to live down what happened with Reiss, so the only thing to do is leave the Square.
'I'm never going to say goodbye to her because, after 32 years, Sonia is ingrained in me. So, while I'm saying goodbye on screen, for now, Sonia is always there, knocking about!'

Culture minister says ‘biggest anxiety' is public service broadcasters' budgets
Culture minister Sir Chris Bryant has said his 'biggest anxiety' when it comes to the British TV industry is the reduced budgets of public service broadcasters (PSBs). The commissioning budgets of PSBs have been 'squeezed by the real-terms reduction of the BBC licence fee', as well as a reduction in advertising revenue, according to a report from the Culture, Media and Sport (CMS) Committee published earlier in the year. The MP also spoke about the Government's rejection of a streamer levy, after the report called for platforms, such as Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV+ and Disney+, to commit to paying 5% of their UK subscriber revenue into a cultural fund which would help PSBs through financing drama with a specific interest to British audiences. Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival, he said: 'We want to get a mixed economy. I love the fact that the streamers and big Hollywood houses make lots of shows in the UK … I want to mix it, to be making our own stuff.' Speaking about the importance of 'a mixed economy', he said: 'Film and TV, and high-end television in particular is fundamentally an international thing. 'I think that some politicians in the world don't seem to fully understand us, but one of the things I've been trying to achieve in the UK is, yes, it's great that the streamers do make fabulous stuff here, and lots of wonderful films made here. ' Tom Cruise is probably one of the biggest investors in the UK economy over the last decade. Brilliant. 'I really want to celebrate that, but I don't want everything that is made in the UK, all the IP (intellectual property), simply to go back to the West Coast of the United States of America. 'I'd like us to have some IP that remains here so that we can continue making investments and have strong UK production companies, which also make stuff which maybe sometimes is specifically made for a UK audience as well as for a wider audience. 'So I've been trying to make that mixed economy.' Cruise's blockbuster Mission Impossible films, particularly recent instalments, have frequently filmed in the UK, with locations including London, Derbyshire and the Lake District. Sir Chris added: 'My biggest anxiety is the state of public service broadcasting budgets, and if they haven't got any funding, they're not going to be making any progress.' After the report into British film and high-end television, chairwoman of the CMS committee, Dame Caroline Dinenage, said 'there will be countless distinctly British stories that never make it to our screens' unless the Government intervenes to 'rebalance the playing field' between streamers and public service broadcasters (PSBs).

BBC Strictly Come Dancing's George Clarke lets slip 'huge spoiler' on podcast
Youtube star George Clarke is among the celebrities competing in the upcoming season of Strictly. Strictly Come Dancing's George Clarke may have accidentally let slip who he is paired with before the BBC's official announcement. The YouTuber was unveiled as the sixth celebrity in the official line up for Strictly 2025 as the show enters its 23rd season. The social media star is well known online for his comedy content. He also co-hosts The Useless Hotline podcast which is where he may have accidentally spilled the beans. In a chat on his podcast with co-host Max Balegde, the 25-year-old revealed there's one professional dancer he's already met. As he recounted the audition process, George told listeners that he was partnered with a pro and rehearsed with her for an hour. He said: "I've not met anyone apart from, I believe her name's Lauren [Oakley], who was the pro that I met. "Because when we had a interview for it, so it's like an hour long interview, and then like an hour long dance session." Lauren has been a professional dancer on the BBC One flagship show since 2022. She has competed with two celebrities, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, who placed eighth, and JB Gill last year, after taking over from fellow pro Amy Dowden during the season, who withdrew due to injury. George explained that he had performed with Lauren in front of 'two lovely women from the production team that were just sat at what basically looked like a judge's desk'. He said he had to learn a jive with Lauren during the audition, as well as a 'little Latin number he couldn't remember the name of'. However, he did say that he did not know whether this would factor in his official pairing, since that reveal is yet to be announced in the coming days. The Youtube star confirmed his Strictly debut on BBC Radio 1's Going Home Drivetime Show on August 12. Speaking of the news, he said: "Never thought I'd say this, but I'm doing Strictly! Honestly, I've got no idea what I'm doing but I'm excited to get stuck in and potentially fall over a fair bit." When he was revealed as the sixth star, George joked: "I feel like a lot of people will still be saying, who?" He added: "I was meant to be doing a marathon at the end of the month. Can't really do that, because I'm dancing. So I've had to be like, 'Oh God, I'm still training. I promise.'' Strictly 2025 will come as the BBC programmes' 23rd series with the show set to return in September. The show's return comes after Strictly has just faced a fresh scandal after claims of cocaine use by two stars with reports suggesting their substance use was an open secret on the show. It follows a turbulent few years of controversial allegations including backstage bullying, misconduct claims and several stars being axed or suspended by the BBC as a result of their behaviour.

Tommy Fury finally reveals truth behind his Jake Paul rematch snub
The two boxing stars have been teasing a rematch ever since they first went head-to-head in Saudi Arabia back in 2023 Tommy Fury has admitted he turned down a rematch with Jake Paul, stating his desire for at least two or three warm-up bouts first. The pair initially squared off in Saudi Arabia back in 2023, where despite being knocked down in the final round, Fury emerged victorious on points. Since then, there's been plenty of verbal sparring between the two, fuelling speculation about a potential rematch, but nothing has come to fruition so far. In the new BBC iPlayer documentary series "Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury", the 26 year old boxer explains why he declined a rematch with Paul, which was scheduled for June 28. Instead, 'Problem Child' Paul went on to fight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., failing to secure a knockout but still sailing to a points victory. During one episode, Fury Snr receives a call from family lawyer Robert, who queries whether his son would be prepared for a rematch with Paul on June 28th. "Listen, that is the oldest trick isn't it?" retorts Fury Snr, reports All Out Fighting. "Tommy has not boxed in 18 months." The camera then cuts to a solo interview with Tommy's father, who asserts: "My job as a father is to get the right opponent. Get him in the ring. Get some rounds under our belt. Get the hand tested and see where we go from there." The video then cuts back to the family gathered around the campfire, with Fury Snr still engaged in a phone call. He continued to tell his lawyer: "I think the answer on that one is going to be no, Robert. We want to be ready and we just want to beat these guys." After rejecting the rematch, Fury sought his father's opinion. A rather stern Fury Snr responded: "They are trying to get you at your worst possible time. They are thinking 'he has had an 18 month lay off, come off hand surgery, how good can he be?'" The scene concludes with 'TNT' disclosing that he needs a few more bouts before facing his adversary again. "It'll be interesting to know how much they were offering. I know myself that I need two or three fights," he stated. Earlier in April, Fury was accused by Paul's promotional partner Nakisa Bidarian of declining "multiple offers" to square off with the American once more. In a chat with The Sun, Bidarian claimed: "Tommy was offered an unbelievable deal to headline versus Jake on Netflix and they had a false sense of expectations. Jake's not gonna ever offer him that kind of money again. Now if Tommy Fury showed up and said, 'Jake, here is $20million to fight me and I'm gonna make $20million.' Right, all the power to you. "But they've never made an offer once. And we've made multiple offers to try to make that rematch happen. And if you're very confident that you're gonna be Jake Paul, you should have jumped at the opportunity to fight him for $6million plus upside on Netflix. It's just beyond ridiculous that they didn't." When is Tommy Fury's next fight? Fury stepped back into the ring in May for the first time in nearly two years, securing a points victory over Kenan Hanjalic. Since that bout, he's been locked in a war of words with Paul regarding a possible rematch. The British fighter recently delivered a blunt message to the 'Problem Child,' telling Boxing Social: "If I were to fight him, which I think will 100 per cent happen, then he has got to stop talking b****** like he is every single day on Twitter. He is offering stupid numbers that are not realistic. He thinks because he has got a few followers on Instagram and YouTube that he can call the shots, but if you want to come into a sport where we fight, then none of that matters. You lost, I won. So let's talk some realistic numbers." He added: "At the end of the day, I am not unreasonable. He's going on about earning X amount; okay, then let's be fair and go down the middle. And if you don't want to go right down the middle, then give me what I am asking for because at the end of the day, you lost and I won."
