Netflix Renews 8 Shows for New Seasons, Including The Diplomat & Bridgerton
Netflix has officially granted renewals to eight shows, including two of its most popular dramas such Keri Russell's political thriller , and Shonda Rhimes' romance period drama . The Diplomat's early Season 4 renewal has been announced, ahead of the third installment's premiere this coming fall. The next chapter will reunite The West Wing co-stars Allison Janney and Bradley Whitford, with the latter joining the cast as the First Gentleman to Janney's President Grace Penn.
Ahead of its Season 4 premiere in 2026, Bridgerton has scored an early two-season renewal order, giving fans two more seasons of romance and gossip. Since Season 4 will center around Luke Thompson's Benedict Bridgerton and Yerin Ha's Sophie Baek, Seasons 5 and 6 would most likely tell the love stories of Eloise Bridgerton, and Francesca Bridgerton since their respectively the fifth and sixth oldest kids of the Bridgerton siblings.
Besides The Diplomat and Bridgerton, the streamer has also ordered quick renewals for recently released shows like Tina Fey's The Four Seasons, and the series adaptation of Judy Blume's Forever novel. Listed below are the rest the other Netflix shows that have been renewed:
The Four Seasons will be coming back for Season 2. The comedy-drama stars Fey as Kate, Will Forte as Jack, Colman Domingo as Danny, Marco Calvani as Claude, Kerri Kenney-Silver as Anne, and Erika Henningsen as Ginny, with Steve Carell as Nick. The first installment ended on a cliffhanger, with Anne revealing to the group that Ginny is pregnant with Nick's child.
Forever is returning for a second season. The adaptation is created by Mara Brock Akil (Moesha, Girlfriends). The series is led by Lovie Simone (Selah and the Spades) and Michael Cooper Jr. (On the Come Up), with Oscar winner Regina King serving as an executive producer.
My Life with the Walter Boys has also been renewed for a third season, ahead of its Season 2 release later year. Based on the Wattpad novel by Ali Noval, the coming-of-age series stars Nikki Rodriguez as Jackie, Noah LaLonde as COle, and Ashby Gentry as Alex.
Love on the Spectrum is also coming back for Season 4. The award-winning docuseries is created by Karina Holden and Cian O'Clery. It follows a diverse group of young people on the autism spectrum as they explore the world of dating and romance.
Million Dollar Secret has also received a Season 2 renewal order from the streamer. The newest reality competition series requires players to hunt down and eliminate a mystery millionaire among their ranks. The next installment promises to feature an even twistier game of cat and mouse.

I really struggled with a lot of these, only filling them in after I'd knocked out easier ones like 8-Across (ARE) and 12-Across (STOOL). 1-Across was also pretty straightforward (MAT) but others less so. I was thinking CHECK for what you'd request at the end of a restaurant meal, but TOGOBOX makes sense. 'Royal' sleeping options was less of a clue and more of a headfake. It didn't occur to me for the longest time that the puzzle meant KING and QUEEN beds, though it's obvious in retrospect. Clearly, I'm a little rusty. How did you do?
