TCS ranked 45th most valuable brand globally, valued at USD $57.3bn
The Kantar BrandZ global ranking, now in its 20th year, highlights TCS's increased brand equity, favourability and global awareness, with the company now positioned amongst the most prominent organisations across all sectors.
According to the report, TCS's latest brand value growth marks a pronounced increase in its global recognition.
An independent brand audit conducted by Momentum-ITSMA found that the TCS brand achieved a 95% aided awareness rating among business executives across 26 countries, a significant rise from the 29% result polled in 2010. The report attributes this surge to ongoing brand building efforts, including wide-reaching sports partnerships, customer-focused innovation, and sustained marketing.
Martin Guerrieria, Head of Kantar BrandZ, commented, "By drawing on the depth of BrandZ's database over the last quarter of a century, our insights show that with the right level of investment and strategic focus, brands have huge potential to drive growth for their owners."
"TCS' performance this year demonstrates its ability to innovate at scale with AI capabilities now running through its portfolios. TCS' strategic sponsorship programmes continue to build a strong global presence and community around its brand."
The company's growth has been partly attributed to its sponsorship of 14 global running events, which includes five of the seven Abbott World Marathon Majors, among them the TCS Sydney Marathon, TCS New York City Marathon and TCS London Marathon. These events attracted over 600,000 runners in 2024, generated USD $2.25 billion for local economies, and raised USD $279 million for charitable causes. According to TCS, the brand experienced a 30-point gain in brand familiarity and a 40-point lift in brand consideration, the highest among all key sponsors in the sector.
Abhinav Kumar, Chief Marketing Officer at TCS, reflected on the recognition, stating, "For 20 years Kantar BrandZ has recognised the world's most valuable brands. We congratulate them on this special anniversary edition of their brand excellence platform."
"Alongside the brand leadership we have in our industry, we are very pleased to see this recognition of the TCS brand amongst the world's most iconic brands across industries. This growth in brand value, awareness and equity has been built on a range of high-impact long term marketing and communications programmes. Building a brand is indeed a marathon, yet I would like to thank all my colleagues in TCS for doing this long run, at the scorching pace of a sprint. Kudos to all of them."
TCS's brand growth strategy draws upon a commitment to 'humanising technology' and forming strong relationships with communities, clients, and partners worldwide. The company has advanced initiatives such as developing the first-ever digital twin heart of a professional runner and deploying AI systems to navigate complex business scenarios. Its partnership with Jaguar, notably through the Jaguar TCS Racing Team in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, is positioned to enhance its profile at the intersection of advanced engineering and sustainability.
The company's brand strength has also been demonstrated through client satisfaction and the employer brand.
In 2025, TCS was ranked as the top IT service provider in Europe for customer satisfaction by Whitelane Research, and designated a Global Top Employer across more than 30 countries and regions, including North America, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Latin America by the Top Employers Institute.
This recognition extends a period of success for TCS, having retained the top spot in the Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Indian Brands 2024 rankings for the third year in a row. With Indian heritage and a global approach, TCS remains active in prominent industry forums, engaging in discussions on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and sustainability, while growing its social and digital media presence.

Refold AI raises USD $6.5m to automate enterprise API tasks
Refold AI has emerged from stealth with USD $6.5 million in seed funding to offer a platform designed to simplify enterprise API integrations using artificial intelligence. Enterprises collectively spend an estimated USD $350 billion every year on consultancies and system integrators to ensure their APIs function as required. Refold AI, a startup based in San Mateo and Bangalore, states that its platform can replace these manual, outsourced efforts with AI-native infrastructure, reducing integration costs and complexity for businesses. The funding round was led by Eniac Ventures and Tidal Ventures, with participation from Better Capital, Ahead VC, Karman Ventures, Z21 and individual investors. The company intends to use the proceeds to hire additional engineers, expand product integrations, and provide further support for its enterprise clients. Addressing enterprise integration Refold AI was founded by the team behind medical technology startup JustDoc, who identified inefficiencies in existing integration processes, particularly during their work with large-scale SAP environments. Jugal Anchalia, Refold's Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, described the origins of the company's mission: "We were spending more time managing chaos than building software. We started Refold with a simple idea: integrations are repeatable and cumbersome, it should not need humans." The company's offering has attracted over 30 paying enterprise customers, including Incorta and Naehas. Refold reports it has doubled its customer base in the last two months, now supporting over 1,500 active users and processing more than 30 million API calls monthly, with annual recurring revenue in the seven-figure range. AI-native approach Refold's approach centres on automated, self-learning agents to manage integrations. Instead of relying on middleware solutions or teams of developers to handle system connectivity, Refold's platform deploys autonomous agents that learn system behaviours, generate and maintain integration code, and adapt as the underlying software changes. The company states the platform is actively used for use cases such as synchronising ERP and CRM systems, automating finance processes, and supporting critical supply chain operations. The platform is built on a three-layered architecture. The first layer, Workflow Code Agents, allows engineering teams to produce, test, and maintain integration logic. On top of this is the MCP Chains interface, a natural language tool enabling business teams to describe requirements and have agents automatically generate workflows. The third layer offers an Embedded Integrations Platform, providing software-as-a-service (SaaS) teams with a toolkit and prebuilt UI components for native integrations. Each layer is designed to accelerate implementation timelines and reduce reliance on bespoke service requests. Refold's agents use reasoning and reinforcement learning techniques to deliver and maintain integrations. The company claims to have automated tasks such as financial reconciliation, supply chain inventory synchronisation, and real-time data pipelines between core enterprise systems, tasks that previously required months of effort to deliver and maintain. Moving towards automation Abhishek Kumar, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Refold, commented on the company's objective: "We're not building another workflow tool. We're replacing the consultant economy with agents that learn and scale. In the future, integrations should be free, fast, and invisible." The company currently employs 20 staff across its offices in San Mateo and Bangalore and plans to increase this to 30 by the end of the year as it works to expand the platform and its library of enterprise integrations. Hadley Harris, Founding General Partner at Eniac Ventures, said: "As we enter the agentic era, enterprise integrations stand out as one of the most compelling and valuable use cases. For decades, companies have burned billions on brittle, bloated workflows. Refold has rebuilt the stack from the ground up to make integrations seamless and intelligent, and the market is already catching on." Nicholas Muy, Venture Partner at Tidal Ventures, also weighed in: "Finally, someone is fixing the most broken part of enterprise software. For decades, we've been patching integrations with expensive consultants and manual work. Refold's AI agents don't just patch the problem - they eliminate it. This is a fundamental leap forward." Refold seeks to position its software as an invisible 'logic layer' within enterprise AI stacks as businesses look to modernise and streamline their integration processes.

Most cyber attack brokers sell admin access from USD $500
New research into underground cybercrime markets shows that access brokers frequently sell deep, privileged entry points into corporate networks, with 71% of listings including administrator-level credentials and occasionally a bundle of multiple ways in. According to the latest report analysing six months of intelligence from dark web forums, so-called initial access can be sold to cyber attackers for prices starting at just USD $500. Such sales offer attackers a low-cost way to gain entry to victim organisations and can accelerate the route to ransomware and other related incidents. Access broker market Researchers from Rapid7 monitored and evaluated hundreds of listings from Initial Access Brokers (IABs) on dark web platforms, including Exploit, XSS, and BreachForums. These IABs advertise access to compromised business networks across various industries and geographic regions. The research, published in the Rapid7 Access Brokers Report, concluded that the nature of access on offer can signify severe intrusion rather than just a "foot in the door." Privileged credentials, which often include administrator rights, provide threat actors with more control over the targeted network from the outset. "This report shows that initial access brokers aren't intent upon finding a single way into an organisation's network and then quickly exiting, they're making attempts to explore the networks they've infiltrated. And they're often succeeding," said Raj Samani, SVP and chief scientist at Rapid7. "In doing so, the IAB can offer buyers admin privileges, multiple access types, or both. By the time a threat actor logs in using the access and privileged credentials bought from a broker, a lot of the heavy lifting has already been done for them. Therefore, it's not about if you're exposed, but whether you can respond before the intrusion escalates." The report found that more than 71% of access broker deals included some form of privileged access, while almost 10% bundled multiple access vectors or further administrative capabilities. Most listings were offered for less than USD $1,000, although the average asking price was a little over USD $2,700. Access commonly took the form of Virtual Private Network (VPN), domain user, or Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) credentials. These vectors were also among the most prevalent weaknesses identified in Rapid7's own incident response cases. The findings underscore the utility of such access for adversaries looking to quickly spread through networks or launch further attacks. Impact on defenders The prevalence of deeply compromised accesses increases the pressure on security teams, who are already facing high alert volumes, limited headcount, and rapidly changing attack methodologies. The report argues for unified approaches to exposure management and threat response, urging that they be integrated rather than siloed off from one another. This approach is reflected in the company's own solutions, with its Incident Command product unifying areas such as prevention, threat intelligence, and automated response capabilities into a single workflow. Intelligence generated from the research is being actively integrated into detection and investigation processes for security teams to use directly. Recommendations for organisations The report also shares several mitigation measures intended to harden businesses against access broker activity. Key recommendations include enforcing multi-factor authentication (MFA) on critical remote access points such as VPN, RDP, and accounts used to manage essential infrastructure. Other best practices outlined are ongoing investment in threat-informed detection and response systems, with an emphasis on platforms that can correlate different security signals for stronger defence. Regular red team testing, to identify risks such as unused accounts, default passwords, or publicly exposed RDP services, was also stressed as an important step for organisations seeking to reduce their exposure. The findings reiterate Rapid7's view on the need for threat detection and exposure management to be fast, unified, and context-aware, with the report stating that operationalising intelligence, asset knowledge, and automation should be core components of security strategy. Law enforcement activity targeting underground forums and access brokers continues, but the report notes that access brokers maintain a persistent presence as a threat to organisations internationally. The role of access brokers in facilitating attacks remains steady amid ongoing takedowns and disruptions.
