Uorfi Javed drops Karan Johar's ‘Bigg Boss' clip after winning ‘The Traitors': ‘I've had so many breakdowns'
is on cloud nine. Hours after winning '
The Traitors
,' she took to Instagram to share a touching post that beautifully summed up her journey. Known for grabbing eyeballs with her bold outfits, this time Uorfi showed her emotional side.
She posted a video from her '
Bigg Boss OTT
1' days, where she was sadly the first contestant to get eliminated. The clip featured
Karan Johar
announcing her eviction. Then, it quickly switched to the present, showing Uorfi celebrating her huge win on 'The Traitors.'
'From losing Bigg Boss to winning The Traitors'
Along with the video, Uorfi poured her heart out in the caption. She wrote, 'From losing big boss (being the first one to be eliminated) to winning the traitors. The journey wasn't easy. I've cried so many times. I've had so many breakdowns. I've wanted to give up. I've wanted to leave everything and run away. Being called names, getting death and rape threats, the online hate, and the offline hate, but I never stopped. Maybe the universe knew I needed this.'
Facing tough times and standing strong
Uorfi didn't shy away from sharing how hard things were for her. In her post, she revealed how losing '
Bigg Boss
OTT' felt like losing her only chance at making it big. She said, 'When I lost Big Boss, I thought I lost my last chance at success or at having a good life. I had taken udhaar from friends to get clothes to wear for Big Boss. At that time I didn't even know if I would ver be able to repay that udhaar.'
She also pointed out how people have always doubted her, but she never let it stop her. 'People have always doubted me, even right now, but this still won't stop me. The hate never has and never will stop me. I took out 3 traitors; that can't be luck. Till the last moment I didn't give up. Strategized.'
Winning 'The Traitors' with Nikita
Uorfi's efforts finally paid off in a big way. On Thursday, July 4, she and Nikita Luther were declared the winners of 'The Traitors.' The two walked away with prize money of Rs 70.05 lakh. The show, streaming on OTT, started with 20 celebrity contestants and influencers. It all came down to an intense finale where Uorfi and Nikita beat comedian Harsh Gujral to grab the title.
Karan Johar was there for both big moments
It's quite something that both of Uorfi's key
reality show
moments were tied to Karan Johar. He was the one who announced her eviction on 'Bigg Boss OTT 1,' and now he hosted 'The Traitors,' where she finally tasted victory. 'The Traitors' was packed with famous faces like Karan Kundrra, Raj Kundra, Raftaar, Jasmine Bhasin, Anshula Kapoor,
Maheep Kapoor
,
Jannat Zubair
, and
Sudhanshu Pandey
. But in the end, it was Uorfi and Nikita who outsmarted everyone.

"Wow.". 34. Unbelievable," Gilbert, 61, wrote in the caption. She also had a message for Landon's family and said she was "thinking of and sending all my love" to his nine children: Mark, Josh, Cheryl, Leslie, Michael Jr., Shawna, Christopher, Jennifer, and Sean.
