Kanye West Slammed After Saying He Wished He Had Kids With Paris Hilton And Not Kim Kardashian

Yahoo28-04-2025
In another episode of Kanye West's rants, the rapper unsurprisingly caused more controversy, this time on the streaming platform Twitch, when he said he wished he had kids with Paris Hilton, rather than his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
Kanye and Kardashian share four children: North West, 11, Saint West, 9, Chicago West, 7, and Psalm West, 5.
Kardashian and Hilton have a shared history as the SKIMS founder got her big break after serving as the latter's assistant.
Anyone could be having a quiet, private life and then suddenly find their name trending for the wrong reasons due to a Kanye West rant.
Hilton has now found herself in those shoes after comments Kanye made in a since-deleted Twitch livestream went viral.
However, parts of the stream were reposted online, showing the "Donda" rapper discussing his ex-wife and her former boss.
Kanye referenced how Kardashian used to work for Hilton and wished he had kids with the latter instead. He said, "Kim was Paris Hilton's assistant. I should've had babies with Paris Hilton over Kim Kardashian!"
He went on, "Could you imagine if I had kids with Paris Hilton? How many hotels I'd have right now? Think about that. The Hilton. The Hilton sh-t."
He continued, "I think y'all staying at the Hilton right now. The Edition Hotels is a Hilton."
Kanye didn't stop at mentioning Hilton's name, but emphasized his point by dragging the late fashion designer Virgil Abloh, with whom he had previously collaborated, and the legendary actor Arnold Schwarzenegger into his rant.
He first compared Kim Kardashian's relationship with Hilton to his and Abloh's relationship. Kanye said, "Paris Hilton had the vision, and that's what happened," before adding, "Kim was like the Virgil. Kim was like Paris Hilton's Virgil."
He referenced Schwarzenegger by recalling that the actor cheated on his wife, Maria Shriver, and ended up having a kid with his nanny, Mildred Baena, in the 1990s, and used it as a weapon to attack Kardashian.
The "Carnival" crooner said, "If you're like Arnold Schwarzenegger and you have a kid with a nanny, the nanny's only power is to take your kids."
He continued, "So Kim's only power is to take my kids. I had a baby with a f-cking assistant, bro."
Following his rant, Twitch moved quickly to ban Kanye, with his channel becoming unavailable 10 minutes after he began streaming.
A video of Kanye's rant was obtained by Hollywood Unlocked and reposted on its Instagram page.
Several fans took turns slamming Kanye for his comments, with many emphasizing how great Kardashian is as a mom and how she leveled up and became rich after working for Paris Hilton.
One person said, "This is sad," while another person added, "I love how Kim NEVER reacts to any of this BS."
A third fan reminded Kanye of how valuable Kardashian was to him and came through for him when he needed it most.
They said, "He is talking down on the same woman that gave him millions when he was in debt!!!!!! Smh she was an assistant but now she's on her way to billionaire status! Made her whole family rich! Stop playing with Kim!"
A fourth person commented, "I can't believe Kim had FOUR children with you."
Someone reminded Kanye West of how he had previously spoken kindly about Kim Kardashian. They said, "Remember when Kanye said that Kim was his dream girl..."
Another person opined that Kardashian won't let Kanye see his kids after his latest rant. They wrote, "Kanye will never see those kids."
Meanwhile, some fans urged Hilton to sue Kanye for dragging her name into his antics.
One person commented, "I hope Paris sues for saying her name," while another opined that the socialite would never have considered Kanye. They wrote, "As if Paris Hilton would touch him with a 10-foot pole, especially nowadays. Goodbye Sir! We are tired."
Another person said of Kanye, "Ye bogus. Your kids are getting older, and you decide to make a video talking about you wish you had kids by Paris Hilton. You wrong Ye."
Kanye West's recent livestream comments come shortly after he accused Kardashian of keeping him away from their children.
Earlier this week, Kanye posted on X, "Why is the celebrity world, Jay Z, Beyoncé, Kendrick, Rihanna, A$AP Rocky included, Trump, Elon, why are you all watching and letting Kim take my kids from me in real time?"
He continued, "Y'all wanna say I'm acting out because of things in my childhood, but I don't get to be a dad."
However, a source close to Kardashian responded to her ex-husband's claims, stating that the rapper has the freedom to see his children whenever he chooses.
"Kanye has been in LA recently for a few months and did not ask to see the kids aside from North until a week before he was leaving again," the insider told the Daily Mail.
They added, "There are no limitations, but Kim prioritizes protecting her kids above all else."

Is Deadpool returning in 'Avengers: Doomsday'? Ryan Reynolds post sparks speculation

Is the Merc with a Mouth finally joining Earth's Mightiest Heroes? A cryptic new Instagram post from Ryan Reynolds has fans speculating that the actor could be returning as Deadpool in "Avengers: Doomsday." The post, shared on Reynolds' personal Instagram on Aug. 12, shows a graffiti version of the Avengers logo. He did not include any caption. The logo was previously seen on a flag in 2024's "Deadpool & Wolverine" during a section of the movie where Reynolds' Deadpool and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine are captured. The photo that Reynolds shared appears to have been taken from a July 2024 Reddit post, where a user posted pictures of several custom Marvel shirts in anticipation of "Deadpool & Wolverine." However, Reynolds' posting of the Avengers logo without comment, as filming on "Avengers: Doomsday" is underway, fueled speculation that he could be preparing to announce his involvement in the movie. "If you are saying what I think you're saying, I'm actually gonna scream," one comment on the post read. Reynolds was notably missing from the lengthy "Avengers: Doomsday" cast list that Marvel unveiled in March during an hours-long live stream, where every individual star's name was revealed one at a time. But after the stream ended, Marvel hinted that it was not the complete cast list – and that other actors could be joining the movie. "There's always room for more," the studio teased. Reynolds' foul-mouthed Marvel hero was last seen in "Deadpool & Wolverine," which brought him to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time. But while the movie was a massive hit, no sequel has been announced, and it hasn't been confirmed where or when fans will see Deadpool next. During a Variety Actors on Actors segment with Andrew Garfield in December, Reynolds said he would like to see Deadpool function more as a supporting character going forward. "If he comes back, it's going to be in someone's else's movie," he said. Reynolds also told Time magazine in April that he was "writing a little something right now that is an ensemble" involving Deadpool, but did not reveal details. The announced cast list for "Avengers: Doomsday" does include one star from "Deadpool & Wolverine:" Channing Tatum, who made his debut as Gambit in the 2024 "Deadpool" film. Other stars confirmed for the next "Avengers" include Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.

In the coming weeks, marijuana could be considered a less dangerous drug, at least as far as the federal government is concerned. President Donald Trump on Monday said the government is considering reclassifying marijuana, which would remove it from the list of the most dangerous and addictive substances. Moves to reschedule the drug − which would not make it legal under federal law − began during the Biden administration. Experts say the change could be good for research and medicine, but could also be perceived as a 'safety endorsement" at a time when rates of heavy cannabis use are climbing. 👉 What to know about the proposed change. The next education issue Summer is coming to an end, and it's back-to-school time for many families. But for Jennifer Lilintahl, who decided to delay her daughter's entry into kindergarten last year, it's been a challenge. When Lilintahl tried to enroll her 6-year-old daughter in kindergarten, DC Public Schools officials said she'd have to enter first grade due to her age. Delaying kindergarten for one year, a process known as 'redshirting,' is one of the latest issues for the growing parents' rights movement, which has been dominated by public school parents who want more control over what their children learn and where they go to school. Some argue their kids need an additional year in prekindergarten. But others say it creates an unfair advantage over those who don't have the resources to delay schooling. 👉 See where 'redshirting' is allowed. Universal Signs Trivia Quiz — BuzzFeed Quizzes

Admit all gone on a date with someone super cute from class, only to find out their mom still does their laundry and the only thing they can 'cook' is Kraft Dinner. Turns out, adulting is kind of sexy. We all want to be someone who can take care of ourselves — and, ideally, find someone we don't have to literally parent. Because if you're still putting the noodles in before the water might just be a red flag. So if you're a grown-ass adult who's been doing laundry since age 10, or just trying to escape your helicopter parents, let's see how well you know these universal symbols. You know, the kind everyone should recognize…for the good of society. Let's go... Tell us how you did in the comments. Want a fun signage fact? (Words I truly never thought I'd say.) Even though signs and symbols can vary by country, region, or city, there's actually an international organization — the ISO — that helps standardize them. Because let's be real: It'd be wildly inconvenient (and unsafe!) if every country had a different symbol for 'stop' or 'flammable.' Staying alive should be a universal language — and honestly, I'm very on board with that. And for more fun quizzes and content, make sure you follow BuzzFeed Canada on TikTok and Instagram!
