The makers have confirmed that Coolie will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video following its theatrical run. The announcement was subtly made during the film's opening credits, which revealed the platform as the official digital partner.
While an official streaming date has not yet been disclosed, industry reports suggest that Coolie will make its OTT debut around eight weeks after its theatrical release — a common window for major South Indian blockbusters.

Coolie is a high-octane action drama that follows Deva (Rajinikanth), a former daily-wage laborer who now runs a hostel-style mansion in Chennai. His life takes a dark turn when his close friend Rajasekhar dies under suspicious circumstances.
As Deva digs deeper, he uncovers a dangerous link to a criminal syndicate led by the ruthless kingpin Simon Xavier. With the odds stacked against him, Deva sets out on a mission of revenge, unearthing a shocking past connection between himself and Simon.
The film boasts a power-packed ensemble cast. Apart from Rajinikanth in the lead, Coolie features Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra Rao, and Aamir Khan (in a special appearance) in pivotal roles. The supporting lineup includes Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Rachita Ram, Reba Monica John, Kanna Ravi, Monisha Blessy, Kaali Venkat, Rishikanth, Tamizh, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Baburaj.
Veteran actress Shobana appears in a cameo as Deva's wife, while Pooja Hegde delivers a glamorous appearance in the song Monica.

Sea of devotees flocks to Mathura to celebrate Janmashtami
Agency: PTI Mathura/Varanasi (UP), Aug 16 (PTI) Lakhs of devotees from across the world gathered in Mathura on Saturday to celebrate Janmasthami, with pilgrims queuing up since early morning to catch a glimpse of the deity in the birth place of Lord Krishna. Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp throughout the Braj region, but the main ceremony was held at the Radha Krishna temple within the Bhagwat Bhavan complex here. Officials said the enthusiasm was palpable as devotees sought to catch a glimpse of 'thakur' (god), with queues forming as early as late Friday night at the northern gate of the temple. The eagerness of the crowd persisted late into the night, as the celebrations headed for a climax. The city and the municipal administrations transformed Mathura for the occasion, as roads and crossings were specially decorated, with scenes from 'Krishna Leela' set up as selfie points. Various cultural events hosted folk artistes from different parts of India, showcasing Awadhi, Bundelkhandi, Rajasthani and Haryanvi traditions through their art. Food, water and 'sherbet' were distributed free of cost to the pilgrims at multiple locations. To ensure the safety of the devotees, the city and the temple premises were divided into four zones and 18 sectors, with heavy police deployment at every point, the officials said. Janmashtami was was also celebrated with special rituals in Varanasi. According to the officials of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, clothes and gifts were sent from here to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura for the occasion. Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and starring Rajinikanth had yet another excellent day at the India box office, grossing Rs 47-48 crore. These are excellent numbers but the trend is slightly worrisome. The movie opened to collections of Rs 75.50 crore, added Rs 63.50 crore on day 2 (Independence Day holiday) and is likely putting up Rs 47.50 crore on day 3, taking the 3 day cume to Rs 186.50 crore. Going by how it is doing, the Sunday collections are going to drop down to around Rs 40 crore, giving the movie a weekend of a little over Rs 225 crore.
