Anirudh Ravichander Credits ChatGPT For Helping Him Overcome Writer's Block For Coolie
Turns out, ChatGPT isn't just helping people write emails, college essays, or the occasional awkward breakup text. Honestly, can you even imagine life without this AI tool now? Interestingly, it also lent a hand to India's hottest music directors too! Anirudh Ravichander, the man behind countless chartbusters, revealed that when he hit a creative roadblock while composing for Rajinikanth's film Coolie, he turned to ChatGPT for a little digital jamming session.
In a recent interview with Sun Pictures, Anirudh candidly shared, 'Two days ago, when I had a creative block, I just opened ChatGPT and fed it the information about my song. I asked the AI, 'This is the song. I am stuck while trying to compose the last two lines. What do I do, man?' I swear, I am being honest," he said.
Anirudh went on to reveal, 'With the prompt, the AI gave me ten lines. From there, I saw one line, an idea emerged, and I cracked the rest of the song. All creators face a block, but today, it is easier to get over such a block. I feel it is better to let it be rather than overthink about being stuck."
The composer also shared a fun behind-the-scenes peek into making the Coolie soundtrack. Talking about the song Chikitu Vibe, he said it began with a tuned version of T. Rajendhar Sir's beats. But when he learned that Soubin Shahir would be dancing for Monica with Pooja Hegde, he decided to add comedy tracks like 'Lakalakalaka" from Chandramukhi's 'Raa Raa."
Rajinikanth, who was last seen in Vettaiyan, is gearing up for a grand comeback with Coolie. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for delivering one blockbuster after another, is also keeping up his streak. Interestingly, he has stuck to a two-year gap between big releases with Leo releasing in October 2023 and Coolie set to arrive just 22 months later.
Packed with a star-studded cast featuring Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Aamir Khan, Upendra, and Shruti Haasan, Coolie promises explosive action, mass entertainment, and the grand cinematic spectacle Rajinikanth fans have been craving.
Coolie is one of the most awaited releases of the year. The film will hit theatres on August 14, setting up a major box office clash with Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani's War 2.

Four members of Gujarat music band killed in mini bus-truck collision in MP
Agency: PTI Shivpuri (MP), Aug 16 (PTI) Four members of a Gujarat-based music band were killed and 11 other persons were injured on Saturday in a collision between a mini bus and a small truck in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh, police said. Members of the music band had performed at a programme in Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi and were returning to Gujarat when the accident occurred around 6 am on National Highway 46, around 30 km from the Shivpuri district headquarters, Station House Officer (SHO) Arvind Chari told PTI. He said the bus driver lost control of the wheel, leading to the bus veering into the wrong lane and colliding. The deceased included Hardik Dave (37), a singer, Raja Thakur (28), Ankit Thakur (17), and Rajendra Solanki (47), all members of the band, the SHO said. He said the injured persons have been admitted to hospitals. A preliminary investigation suggests that the driver of the mini bus with 17 people onboard might have dozed off due to fatigue as the troupe was travelling non-stop from Varanasi since 5 pm (Friday), Chari said. The bodies of the four victims have been handed over to their families, who are transporting them to Gujarat. Chari said the condition of the two critically injured persons is stable now. 'We are waiting to record the statement of the injured driver after his condition improves and is able to speak," the SHO said.
