Demi Lovato reunites with Joe Jonas after brutal split - and her husband approves
It was the moment many people had been waiting for - a Camp Rock reunion where Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers got together to sing their most famous song from the Disney movie. But while this also meant Demi reuniting with ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas, her new husband gave his full support.
Fans were delighted as Demi, 32, stepped onto the stage alongside Joe, 35, and performed with his brothers Kevin, 37, and Nick, 32. The Jonas Brothers were performing for their 20th anniversary tour in New Jersey and included the song Gotta Find You form the iconic movie.
The surprise reunion comes 17 years after Camp Rock's debut and about 15 years after its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam hit the air. Demi shared her reunion on her social media and declared she made musical 'history'. It comes after Princess Andre said she was 'independent' from her parents as she broke her silence after Katie Price row.
Demi and Joe dated in 2010, 15 years ago, and she captioned a reel of them together: 'For the history books'. The couple reportedly dated for two months before calling it quits and decided to remain as friends.
After they dated, Joe started a relationship with Sophie Turner, 29, who he married and now shares two children with. The pair share Willa, four, and Delphine, two, but split shortly after their daughter was born.
Demi officially tied the knot with Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes in May this year after the two met in January 2022 during a studio writing session for Demi's most recent album. Jordan proposed just under two years later in December 2023.
Although they are still newlyweds, Jordan had no problem with his wife reuniting with her ex, and he showed her support online. He showed his support by commenting three hysterical emojis and four emojis of clapping hands, as well as saying he 'couldn't be more proud' of his spouse.
Jordan also captioned a clip of his wife heading to the stage to perform: 'I love you soooo much baby'. After the performance, Demi shared a video singing with Joe witht he caption: 'thanks for having me @jonasbrothers', which sent fans wild.
One person commented: 'most important moment of my life', while another added: 'THIS WILL BE STUDIED AT HISTORY BOOKS'.
A third fan commented: 'First we get Freakier Friday, Princess Diaries 3 is being filmed, Miley announced she wants to do something special for Hannah Montana, and now this, life is good!', while another added: 'I can't fully explain but this was healing'.
The brothers shared a statement ahead of the big concert and said they were always looking for ways to surprise their fans. They said: 'We're always looking for fun ways to surprise our fans, jumping on the ferry and turning it into a show just felt like the perfect New York moment. You never know what's going to happen in this city, one minute you're on your way somewhere, the next there's a concert happening on your commute.'
The musical trio appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Friday, where they gave a sneak peak on what to expect. Nick said: 'What we feel we've come to is something that really represents the journey we've been on and the songs that are relevant to us and those steps in our career in different moments.'

Inside brutal Made In Chelsea feud as 'snake' Jamie Laing leaves ex pals 'furious'
Jamie Laing has left his former Made In Chelsea friends 'furious' after allegedly causing them to be dropped from an upcoming Disney+ series, sparking outrage Jamie Laing is said to have "snaked" his former Made In Chelsea pals, leaving them enraged. The reality star turned podcast host and his wife Sophie Habboo are to star in an upcoming Disney+ series, which will document their "no holds barred" journey to parenthood. The couple, who are expecting their first child, will see Sophie's pregnancy and their day-to-day life filmed in a fly-on-the-wall series, as they attempt to move into their new family home. But it's claimed that the move has left their former pals in a state of rage. Sources have claimed that an argument has kicked off behind the scenes after a string of former stars from the E4 reality show believed they were all taking part in the series, which now focuses on Jamie and Sophie. Reports claim that Jamie and Sophie have been "snaking" their pals and have been accused of "hijacking" the lavish deal with the streaming giant, which also airs The Kardashians. It's said that Louise Thompson and her partner Ryan Libby, Millie Mackintosh and her husband Hugo Taylor, had also been in on the deal – and had already started filming. Now, it's claimed that they have been scrapped from the line-up altogether. "They had all been signed to the top secret Disney project, and then Jamie snaked them, is what we're being told," a source said. They went on to tell The Sun that all four had signed up and started as Disney had been wanting to build it's reality TV roster. "But then Jamie and Habs got pregnant. Disney agreed the focus should be on them alone because their podcast is going great guns, they've been given a Radio 1 show, and Jamie's ultra-marathon efforts endeared him to the nation," they added. The source went on to say that Louise, Ryan, Millie and Hugo had been left "high and dry". The source continued to claim that the four had turned down the chance to appear on the Made In Chelsea spin-off, Beyond Chelsea, so had "lost money." "They're absolutely livid and feel they've been snaked. There is huge animosity and it is all incredibly awkward - not least because Chelsea isn't a huge place so they are bound to bump into one another in bars and shops, it's pretty explosive," they said. The claims of another feud come after Jamie addressed his ongoing tension with his once best pal, Spencer Matthews. The pair had once been incredibly close, but in recent years, they have drifted apart, and the reason remains unclear, as dozens of claims have been speculated about. Spencer was left off the invite list for Jamie and Sophie's first wedding in the UK two years ago. But it was later claimed that Spencer had acted badly during their second ceremony in Spain. Speaking to You Magazine, Jamie called his fellow TV star "hard to get along with" as he candidly opened up on their friendship. "Look, what can I say? I love Spencer, I really love him so much, and I don't think he'd mind me saying this… um… look, Spencer's a hard person to be friends with," he said. "We were thick as thieves for a long time, but I think what happens is family and life. From my side, I have no jealousy towards him whatsoever. I only love and adore him more than anything in the entire world. I still consider him one of my closest friends, and I'm godfather to his daughter. But, yeah… I mean… You would have to ask him."
