"He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis," the statement added. The legendary musician was buried last Thursday near the lake at his home in Buckinghamshire.
Around 110 guests attended the private ceremony, including family members, music industry figures, and his longtime guitarist Zakk Wylde, who led the somber procession.

"The day was incredibly emotional," a source told the Sun. "Pictures of Ozzy were dotted throughout the house and a photograph of him was given to everyone who attended to take home with them."
"Ozzy wanted his final place of rest to be at home and he is buried at a beautiful point on the lake," the source added.
A emotional funeral procession was held the day before the ceremony, winding through the streets of Ozzy's hometown, Birmingham, England.
His widow, Sharon, 72, along with their children—Kelly, 40, Jack, 39, Aimee, 41—and his son Louis, 50, joined thousands of fans in paying their final respects to the legendary heavy metal figure.

Ozzy's grieving family members wore all-black outfits, each adding personal touches to honor his memory. Photoes from the procession captured an emotional Sharon embracing Kelly and holding Jack's hands as she wept before a memorial dedicated to Ozzy, where the family placed purple flowers.
Sharon and the children walked closely behind as the hearse transporting the Prince of Darkness' body made its way along Birmingham's well-known Broad Street, stopping briefly at the Black Sabbath Bench and Bridge.
A Star Is Gone
Ozzy's death came over five years after he publicly revealed his Parkinson's disease diagnosis in January 2020. Born John Michael Osbourne on December 3, 1948, in Birmingham, England, he earned the nickname "Ozzy" during his early school years.

Though he faced a tough upbringing, music became a vital escape and source of expression for him. Struggling with dyslexia, learning didn't come easy for Osbourne. He also revealed that he was sexually abused by bullies at the age of 11 and remembered trying to commit suicide during his teenage years.
Osbourne credited The Beatles—particularly their 1964 hit "She Loves You"—as the spark that ignited his passion for a career in music.
At 15, Osbourne dropped out of school and took on various manual labor jobs. By the time he was 17, he served six weeks at Winson Green prison after being unable to pay a fine for stealing from a clothing shop.

After his release, Osbourne teamed up with his friend Geezer Butler to form their first band, Rare Breed, with Ozzy taking on the role of lead singer.
In 1967, Osbourne co-founded Black Sabbath, a band widely credited with helping to shape the heavy metal genre. They produced legendary tracks such as "Paranoid," "War Pigs," and "Iron Man," which became defining songs of the movement.
Both the band and Ozzy frequently faced criticism for the dark and occasionally "satanic" nature of their lyrics and themes.

"When we started gigging way back when, as soon as we started playing this song's opening chords, young girls in the audience would f–king freak out," Osbourne told NME in 2016. "They thought we were Satan's f–king friends or something."
"That's when the whole 'Prince of Darkness' s–t started," he explained about the origin of his nickname. "When people get excited about Halloween coming around each year, all I think is, 'Well, we used to have Halloween every f–king night."
In 1979, Ozzy was fired from Black Sabbath due to his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction—something he later described as feeling hypocritical, given the band's own lifestyle. "I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel betrayed by what happened with Black Sabbath," he wrote in his 2009 memoir "I Am Ozzy."
"We were four blokes who'd grown up together a few streets apart. We were like family, like brothers. And firing me for being f–ked up was hypocritical bulls–t. We were all f–ked up."

"If you're stoned, and I'm stoned, and you're telling me that I'm fired because I'm stoned, how can that be? Because I'm slightly more stoned than you are?" he added.
That's when Sharon, the daughter of Black Sabbath's manager Don Arden, stepped in to take charge of Ozzy's career as a solo artist.
Ozzy went on to release 12 solo albums, featuring iconic tracks like "Crazy Train," "Mama, I'm Coming Home," and "No More Tears."

Harry and Meghan sign reduced deal with Netflix
[LOS ANGELES] Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will continue to develop film and TV projects for Netflix but on more limited terms, the streaming giant announced on Monday (Aug 11). The estranged British royal and his wife have worked with Netflix since 2020, producing the documentary Harry & Meghan and the lifestyle series With Love, Meghan. The latter showcased the Duchess of Sussex as a thriving domestic maven, hosting guests, harvesting honey and mixing bath salts against an idyllic California backdrop. It has been extended for a second season, and a holiday special is due in December, Netflix said. But while the pair's previous Netflix deal bought the streamer exclusive rights to their output, the new multi-year agreement is a 'first look deal'. In Hollywood parlance, this means Netflix has the right to say yes or no to a project before Harry and Meghan's media company Archewell Productions can shop it around other studios. Typically, first-look deals are less lucrative than exclusive deals, though they also provide producers with more flexibility. A NEWSLETTER FOR YOU Friday, 2 pm Lifestyle Our picks of the latest dining, travel and leisure options to treat yourself. Sign Up Sign Up 'We are proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the 'As ever' brand,' said Meghan, referring to her recently re-branded line of lifestyle products, including rose wine and apricot spreads. Bela Bajaria, Netflix's chief content officer, described Harry and Meghan as 'influential voices whose stories resonate with audiences everywhere', in the statement. Harry and Meghan wed in a fairytale ceremony in 2018, before splitting from the British royal family and moving to California two years later. Cut off from the royal purse, the pair signed their first Netflix deal in 2020 for a reported US$100 million. That figure was never confirmed, and no financial terms have been revealed for the extension. The New York Times reported on Monday that the new deal is worth less for Harry and Meghan than the previous agreement, citing a source familiar with the terms. Harry & Meghan, a six-episode tell-all about their relationship and exit from the House of Windsor, drew 23 million views in its first four days, a record for a Netflix documentary. Despite withering reviews from critics, With Love, Meghan had over five million views in the first half of 2025, making it Netflix's most-watched cooking show. The upcoming holiday special will feature Meghan hosting 'friends and family' as they 'deck the halls, create holiday feasts, craft heartfelt gifts, and share lots of laughs', the statement promised. Later this year, Netflix will release a short documentary from Archewell Productions about a small orphanage in Uganda. The couple are also producing a 'romance feature adaptation' of Carley Fortune's novel Meet Me At The Lake though no Netflix release has been confirmed. AFP

Pixie Lott plays her 'last gig', due to deliver second child in early September, Entertainment News
Pixie Lott has revealed she is due to give birth to her second child in early September. Speaking exclusively to The Voice Kids favourite, 34, who is seven months pregnant, made the admission while speaking to The Sun after a gig at the Kendal Calling festival, at which her model husband Oliver and their son Bertie, 23 months, supported her from the side of the stage. She said: "I think the last gig (I will play this year - Flackstock on Aug 8) is going to be four weeks before the due date. So yeah, I think it's going to be fine.' Pixie also explained she had been cleared by her doctor to continue performing "for as long as it feels good". She added: "I did it last time and I've checked with the doc and he said that it's fine to keep doing it as long as you feel good. "So hopefully, I mean that last show, four weeks, I don't know how long… woo!" Pixie, who released her top 10 album Encino last year, described how her life on the road is now shaped by parenting alongside performing. She said: "It's more tiring being pregnant, waking up early and running around after him than the shows. "Because with the shows I get like an adrenaline that takes over so I don't even think about it. The tiring bit is the running around after the toilet fight." She added her boy Bertie enjoys festivals and is now happy to wear ear defenders to protect his hearing. Pixie also discussed her forthcoming music, including a new single Coming of Age, due for release on Aug 21, and a "heartfelt" Christmas song written with a friend. She said: "Every song that I'm going to be putting out is just going to be about my state of life now, so like having a family, and we're expecting our second, we've moved house, and just like this state of life. "I think a lot of people are able to relate, hopefully, because we're all going through the same kind of changes, and I just want it to be as real as possible." Having been in the music industry for 18 years, Pixie also spoke about enjoying the independence her success has brought. She added: "At the start you've got no clue, you're 18. So in a way it feels changed to be at the stage where I know what I want to do more clearly." Pixie also praised emerging female artists such as Lola Young, Skye Newman and Sienna Spiro. She was a mentor on ITV's The Voice Kids for seven series until it was put on hiatus in 2023, and said about the experience: "I absolutely loved doing it. We did seven seasons, and they said it's taking a rest, so I don't know when the rest is up. "I would love to (return.) "Bertie was in my belly for the last season but he wasn't actually here. He would absolutely love it. We should definitely bring it back." [[nid:720431]]
