From Victoria Beckham to Bella Hadid, everyone is wearing beaded jewellery this summer - shop the trend here

Amongst all the summer fashion trends around in 2025, our favourite might actually be a jewellery trend. Sure, it's more subtle than an eye-catching print like gingham, but when styled correctly, it can have just as big an impact on an overall outfit. Plus, this particular trend comes celebrity-approved with the likes of Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, Jennifer Lawrence and most recently, Victoria Beckham all getting in on the look.
We're talking about beaded jewellery. After spending last summer crafting our own creations for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, designer brands and the high street have caught on, releasing their own versions for SS25. The string necklaces and bracelets threaded with colourful beads still possess a DIY feel, but many feature elevated additions like charm pendants and more secure hardware that admittedly were lacking from our bedroom bracelets and justify the price tags.
While all the cool fashion girlies have been wearing beaded jewellery since the szn began, either on its own or intermixed into their daily gold and silver stacks, the fact that the A-list are jumping on the trend proves its staying power.
Usually spotted dripping in diamonds, VB shunned her minimal, fine aesthetic in favour of a clear beaded frinedship bracelet that spelled out 'I love you' with white beads printed with pink text. She sported the accessory in an Instagram video she shared to demonstrate how best to apply her new Victoria Beckham Beauty blush – because the jewellery trend does look best with a sun-kissed appearance.
For more luxe iterations, swap candy-coloured hues for rich jewel tones, gemstones or pearls. Similarly, don't be afraid to experiment with the size of your beads. Small strands look great layered up, while larger beads give a '70s feel that perfectly taps into the boho revival (especially when worn with crochet, per the below). Keep scrolling to shop our round-up of the best beaded jewellery around right now.

Anne Hathaway stuns in first look at 'The Devil Wears Prada 2': See the photo

Gird your loins: Andy Sachs is back! Anne Hathaway has released a first look photo teasing her character's return in the highly anticipated sequel to "The Devil Wears Prada." "Andy Sachs 2025," she captioned the photo released on Instagram, which shows the Oscar winner beaming in a pinstripe vest and trousers, paired with black boots and a pearl necklace. Hathaway also posted a TikTok on Monday, July 21, which showed her brushing her teeth in a bathroom while wearing a blue sweater, much like her character Andy wore in the original 2006 movie. "Heading to werk," she captioned the clip. Meryl Streep is also confirmed to be returning to star in "The Devil Wears Prada 2," which is scheduled for release in 2026. Original stars Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci will also be back, with Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux and B.J. Novak fleshing out the cast. Hathaway starred in the first "Devil Wears Prada" as a personal assistant to Streep's fashion magazine editor character, Miranda Priestly. The film, based on the book of the same name, grossed more than $300 million at the worldwide box office and earned Streep an Academy Award nomination for best actress. David Frankel, the director of the original "Devil Wears Prada," is returning for the sequel, and the original movie's screenwriter, Aline Brosh McKenna, also came back to write the script. "The Devil Wears Prada 2" will give Hathaway the opportunity to revisit one of her most iconic early roles, 20 years later. The first movie hit theaters just five years after she made her feature film debut with 2001's "The Princess Diaries." 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' release date "The Devil Wears Prada 2" is set for release on May 1, 2026. It will kick off a big summer for Hathaway, who is also starring in Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey," which hits theaters in July 2026.

Selena Gomez shares photo with Taylor Swift ahead of 33rd birthday

Selena Gomez is sharing fun snapshots ahead of her 33rd birthday this week. The "Only Murders in the Building" star posted a carousel of photos on Instagram Sunday, including one with her "bestie" Taylor Swift and three with her fiance Benny Blanco. Gomez and Swift posed with a pile of gold, silver and black balloons, while Gomez and Blanco shared a kiss in another photo. "As I prepare to celebrate my 33rd birthday, I can't help but reflect on the incredible journey that has brought me here," Gomez wrote in the accompanying caption. "This past year has truly been the most beautiful year of my life, and I owe so much of that to all of you. Thank you for your unwavering love and kindness," the "I Said I Love You First" singer continued. Gomez and Swift's close friendship has endured over the years, with the "Sunset Blvd" singer and her younger sister Gracie Elliot Teefey supporting Swift at her Eras Tour stop in Arlington, Texas, in 2023. "Thank you bestie for having me and my sissy transport into your mystical, euphoric and special world. Proud to know you!" Gomez wrote in an Instagram post at the time. Emily Ratajkowski flaunts summer body during poolside fashion moment

Emily Ratajkowski spent the weekend soaking up the summer sun. The 34-year-old model gave fans a glimpse into her time by the pool. Ratajkowski posed in a plunging black swimsuit from her own line while vacationing near the Adriatic Sea. Ratajkowski referenced her vacation with her caption, writing: "adriaticcc." She wore her hair down as she gave the camera a pout for the photos. Fans were quick to flood the comment section of her post with fire and heart emojis. "How do I send in my marriage application?" one user asked. Another fan commented, "Wow girl youre awesomely gorgeous and sexy but I guess you already. Know that." "I have to say you're my all-time favorite so beautiful," one fan wrote. Ratajkowski launched her own swimwear line, Inamorata, in 2017. At the time, the model confirmed her project was "self-funded." "I have basically a consultant and an assistant and then it's all me," the former actress told Vogue. "It's been really, really fun. I've been doing different things with different people, but to have complete control is really special and exciting." Ratajkowski took on the endeavor after turning her back on Hollywood. She landed her first big role in 2014 as Ben Affleck's mistress in the psychological thriller film "Gone Girl." Following the role, Ratajkowski set out to prove she was a "serious actress with longevity." "But I didn't feel like, 'Oh, I'm an artist performing and this is my outlet.' I felt like a piece of meat who people were judging, saying, 'Does she have anything else other than her [breasts]?'" Ratajkowski previously told the Los Angeles Times. After starring in films such as "We Are Your Friends," "I Feel Pretty" and "Lying and Stealing," she chose to turn her back on Hollywood. Ratajkowski grew tired of making herself "digestible to powerful men in Hollywood" and fired her agent, manager and commercial rep in early 2020. "I didn't trust them," the model told the outlet. "I was like, 'I can handle receiving phone calls. I'm gonna make these decisions. None of you have my best interest at heart. And you all hate women.'"
