BBC announces major Beyond Paradise shake-up ahead of season four
The BBC has confirmed that they've made a major filming shake up for the fourth series of Beyond Paradise.
The beloved BBC drama Beyond Paradise has revealed plans to broaden its filming locations for the upcoming series - potentially bringing production to areas closer to home, with additional spots now included in their schedule.
Previously, audiences have become familiar with Shipton Abbott, the fictitious Devon village that serves as the programme's setting. Now, as the show prepares for its fourth series, the BBC has announced significant changes to their location strategy.
Film crews have already established operations in Looe and Pentillie Castle within South East Cornwall. These picturesque rural settings have previously welcomed Detective Inspector Humphrey Goodman - portrayed by Kris Marshall - alongside his police team members in earlier episodes.

This time around, however, the show's producers have chosen to widen their scope, recently announcing several thrilling new filming destinations, including Launceston, Saltash and Tavistock, whilst audiences eagerly anticipate the fourth series.
Saltash Town Council has disclosed to the BBC that filming locations encompass Churchtown Farm, accompanied by concealed allotments in the vicinity, reports the Express.

A council representative confirmed their close collaboration with the production crew to minimise any inconvenience.
A spokesperson commented: "We see this as a positive opportunity for Saltash, showcasing our town to a wider audience and supporting the creative industries."
The Saltash Social Club on Fore Street also announced it would shut its doors on 11 August, with the venue being utilised for filming purposes.

Additional reports have surfaced that Beyond Paradise production crews had been seen at the West Devon Club on Abbey Place in Tavistock.
BBC has confirmed that filming in Looe, which doubles as the fictional town of Shipton Abbott, will occur during peak tourist season - normally when visitors flock to the coastal destination and is more bustling.
In previous series, the Sardine Factory restaurant underwent a transformation to become the renowned Ten Mile Kitchen, with owner and chef Ben Palmer noting the beneficial effect being on telly had on his establishment.
He informed the broadcaster: "Beyond Paradise has had a very positive impact on the town. People are visiting us more here, which is great."

Speaking earlier this year, Lineker, 64, said he believed the BBC wanted him to leave the programme, which he had anchored since 1999. Asked why he was ending his tenure as host, he replied: "Well, perhaps they want me to leave. There was the sense of that."
